We absolutely enjoyed our stay. House was located in a remote area, which was nice if want to get away from city noise, it had easy access to water, the use of the kayaks was a nice bonus. It was quiet and very well kept! 10 out of 10 stars!!!!

The home was just as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. The Host was super responsive and helpful when I reached out with a question. Would definitely stay there again.

Took the grandkids to the Ark Encounter, had a great time at the cottage, everything was just as described and the Host was very quick to respond

Amazing place. Clean, peaceful, roomy.. we will definitely return. Love the deck and balcony.

it was a quick stay but soo nice! beautiful relaxing view of the creek! very quiet yet close to everything. would definitely come back,!! owner very accommodating!

Home away from home. Rickie was great at communication. He even went out of his way to provide us with life jackets for us not so good swimmers for kayaking. Very clean home. (We would have recommend “no plug ins and fragrances” because my husband is severely allergic, but after airing out the house and blankets it was a wonderful stay. We spent a lot of time on the dock and by the fire pit. (Note that the hill is steep going to the dock) We would stay again and recommend this place for any friend or family member. Town is only 6 minutes awayso…. Groceries, pizza and laundry mat are close.

Country Stay

We choose the Boyer Family cabin because we were taking our grandchildren to see the Ark. Not wanting to stay in a hotel with a pre-teen and a teenager. This was the perfect place. everyone had their own bed and there are 2 bathrooms. Although having use of a washer and dryer, would have been great.

Lovely River House

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and tastefully decorated. Quiet neighborhood. My husband and daughter had a blast fishing. They caught and released at least a dozen catfish a piece. The walk down to the river pier is steep. Not something someone with mobility issues could do. We would stay again.

Peaceful and relaxing

Just what we needed to relax (great view)and we even did a visit to The Ark which was a nice treat. I was a little freaked out with the hills and crazy roads but I'm not a country girl so I was unprepared. The owner was super nice and we had no issues ( except me learning to park on a hill :) We will visit again in the future.

Nice view of the lake

We enjoyed our stay but were surpised that there was such a slope to go from the cottage down to the dock. We are older and getting back up that last bit of hill to the street was an effort. Some stone steps might be a great addition! The indoor fireplace was very nice. The house was comfortable. The steps to the second floor are a bit steep. The kitchen is well equipped.

Overall it was good. Just had a little issue with the one toliet and on the bedding for the pull out couches had just fitted sheets but no blankets nor too sheets for them

Girls weekend

We had fun exploring the Madison and Hanover area, great place to cruise back roads in a Jeep! The house was located in an area that doesn’t have (that we found) delivery, or Uber/taxi. So we were not as prepared as we should have been, hopefully this helps someone! The house was cute and cozy, and well equipped with hot teas/keurig and coffee, and koozies! Also helpful tid bit, the driveway is on a very steep incline!
