This was exactly what I was looking for...convenient, quiet, no frills. All I needed was a bed and a shower. What I got was a bed, shower, TV, fridge and microwave. The room was clean, private and perfect. I absolutely will book this room again next time I'm in Lawrenceville

Fine stay but not for long

The property is well represented. There is no option for kitchen/cooking but there is a microwave and mini fridge. There is no on-site laundry and local laundry services are very expensive. You do have a private bathroom, which is great and the bedroom is cosy. You can hear the neighbors as there is a nailed wood plane covering what used to be a door to the house; however, the neighbors were very respectful.

Roaches accumulate the property. I mentioned it several times and nothing was done. I was not able to check in because the room was not ready. Dina did not give me a refund. She stole my things such as cleaning products etc.

Inconsiderate Hosts

The final night of my stay I was HUGELY inconvenienced by the people who live at the house. I heard VERY LOUD thuds. At one point I was so upset I decided to check the time. IT WAS 11:15 p.m.! I went to bed at 9p.m. so I could get some rest for work the next day. This means I lost AT LEAST TWO HOURS OF SLEEP! VERY INCONSIDERATE!

The property manager does not respond accordingly. I mentioned to her about roaches in the property on several occasions. She never responded. The property was not ready and I had to purchase another hotel and she refused to give a refund. There is no a/c outlet in the room so it is either too hot or too cold. There is also a foul smell in the unit.

What I liked about the property: Not in a high urban area Seeing the animals in the pasture next door Private entrance with good locks Hot shower with good pressure Clean for the most part Water and candy was nice surprise. Bed was comfortable once I was able to get in it Friendly and helpful hosts Good value overall Things that caught me off guard: Code lock took a bit of time to relock so traveling alone made that a concern Lack of security lighting, entrance was on back of house and no light was on even though was present You have no control over heat or air Commode is European style so you might not know how it works right away Although tub was clean, a spider had nested in it and had babies all over in it when I arrived. So I killed them and the older spider but ick For others: tub is elevated just a little bit and there are no grab bars. I had a terrible time as an older person getting in and out of the tub. I was afraid each time of falling. Towels had human hairs in them and I had to look through to get one without. Bed is high and fan above was unreachable. Maybe a small sturdy stool would be helpful. Note to host: noisy late night cars, motorcycles, trucks dragging up and down the road. Not something you control but thought you might want to know. Having grass cut and "stuff" out of back yard would definitely give a better first impression. Also the strong curry smell in the unit from someone cooking was a bit overwhelming. An alarm clock might be helpful.

The host was hospitable and responsive. The room was clean, quiet, welcoming and practical. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. There was a parking spot although I didn’t need to use it. I only wish there was a motion light right at the units entrance because sometimes it was extremely dark and hard to see at night unless the light for a different unit was on. I would suggest adding a full length mirror inside the room as well. I very much enjoyed my stay here and would definitely rent it again. It was just right for me. Thank you

Traffic Problem

The property was clean but much too close to the highway and could hear the traffic. Could hear the rain on the roof or siding which was annoying. The water took much too long to heat up in the sink. Overall a simi pleasant experience.
