The house was clean , has lots of space and a nice layout. An easy walk to the pool and beach. Quick drive to the beach is you don't want to walk. Nice neighborhood!

The property has an excellent location, a short walk to Poipu Beach Park, or the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The biggest drawback is no air conditioning, making sleeping or staying in very uncomfortable. The home is older Hawaiian style and needs updating.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Yes this house was built in the typical Hawaiian style with no AC, however it has louvres on every window and lots of sliding doors to allow the cool breezes to flow through the house. It is priced accordingly, and I believe it is a great value for all its amenities and the excellent location so close to the beach.

We enjoyed the neighborhood and the easy walk to 3 beaches. The pool was smaller and had less chairs than anticipated. The surrounding grounds were wonderful and it was easy to get almost anywhere on the south side of the island. The hosts were exceedingly helpful and available.

Dirty linens and towels, irons stains on mattress pad, sand under beds in one of the bedrooms, Mildew on shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, mildew in both showers. Main complaint was dirty linens in all beds and towels that all smelled of mildew on arrival. I had to wash all linens and and towels. Mattress pads were visibly soiled. Also no AC in house.

My housekeeping team fully inspects and documents the property before every arrival. All linens were fresh and newly washed. Unfortunately, the home was left in a condition that required extra cleaning, including excessive unwashed dishes piled high in the sink, scattered food waste all throughout the house, deeply stained bedding that had to be replaced and the shower curtain and rod removed from the bathroom and left in a bedroom (why?). We charged a total of $50 ($25 for the extra cleaning time and $25 for the ruined mattress pad) and documented with photographic proof of this damage. This guest was upset and only wrote this review after the $50 had been withheld from their deposit.

Perfect location

This house was in the perfect location to walk to beaches, restaurants and coffee. Quiet and private will all the amenities you would need. Definitely would stay here again!

Great location

Great location near multiple beaches. We did some excellent scuba diving and snorkeling just down the road at Koloa Landing, and this made for an excellent base camp. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, but we did alright without it.

Thank you Daniel. Yes, our house is built in the traditional Hawaiian style with louvres on every window and lots of sliding doors to let the air flow through. So it is not practical to have air conditioning as it would just flow out the louvred windows. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

The house was very beautiful and in a nice neighborhood. The house was clean as well. I would definitely book this place again if I come back to Kauai.

Great location. House worked well for us. Could use a little updating but fully functional and had everything we needed including beach accessories, a wagon and toys. We made most of our meals at the house and the kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed.

Fantastic family stay

Great location for our young family. Walking distance to pool, beaches and the Grand Hyatt where we were attending a conference. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic. The Owner was very accommodating and helpful to us with our stay and some specific needs that came up. I would recommend this to anyone looking for space to spread out with a young family while visiting the island.

Poipu stay

We stayed in this home the month of March 2023 and found it to have plenty of room for our family. It is equipped very well with kitchen items and beach things. The home is older, but it suited our needs perfectly and the location is ideal.

Great home for family

We were there with our 2 adult children, their spouses, and a grandchild. The house was perfect for us. It was super clean, a well equipped kitchen, and lots of gear for beach activities. Sonya responded promptly to all our inquiries and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.

Amazing

We were a family of 4, one of whom used a wheelchair, a set of grandparents and a sister, husband and 10 year old. The house was well located and has great kitchen and bar b q for meal prep. The location is very walkable and close to great beaches as well as a great jumping off spot for visits to other parts of the island.

Great stay!

Nice place to stay! Well equipped with kitchen supplies, beach towels, boogie boards, plenty of T. Paper and paper towels! Was a little warm in the late evening but cooled off nicely from about 11PM on! Close to a couple of beaches but seemed like a little longer walk than as stated. Our family of 8 fit very comfortable here with 2 younger boys sleeping on the pullout sofa. House needs a few updates but is very adequate. We enjoyed our stay here!
