Forget your worries in this comfortable and serene nearly 2000 square foot space with all the amenities. Newly built walkout basement suite with large windows and ten foot ceilings make for an open and airy space. Enjoy a private patio/sitting area, private parking and a private entrance. Relax to the sound of a bubbling waterfall and baby goats

Spacious walk-out basement suite with a private entrance, ten foot ceilings and large windows.

Set back from the road on 1.6 acres of horse property with goats, horses and family dogs on site. Homeowner/Host lives in the upper sections of the home. Guest area is separated from from animal areas but access is available and interaction is encouraged. We have small breed goats that love to meet people and are great with children.

We are just off SR-73 with easy access in and out of the neighborhood. There is private off street parking for up to three vehicles and unlimited parking along the street. Secured trailer/toy parking available.

Was an awesome place

We really enjoyed it and it was fun for kids to be able to pet and play with the animals while we laid low sometimes. If we come to Utah again, we'll be wanting to stay here again!

Great Stay

Check in/out was super easy.Came for the funeral of a family member and it was verynice to stop in to a very comfortable place with excellent amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect short term stay

Ron was incredibly friendly and welcoming as a host. Gave us our space but was glad to chop it up if you were in the mood. The space is super clean and homey. Would absolutely stay again.

No issues. The owner maintained good communications and was not intrusive in any way. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was in good working order. I highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in the Eagle Mountain Utah area.

Great stay!

Very spacious and private, unlike some other "attached" units on VRBO. We enjoyed the waterfall and watching all the animals having fun in the backyard. Great views!

This place is the GOAT

Greatest of all time (GOAT), and not just because of the goats. It is located perfectly from town - far enough to be calm and quiet, but close enough to quickly reach shopping and food. It is well equipped and furnished with a real full kitchen, large dining space, and a plush reclining sofa in the TV room. The host is very friendly, and the goats were absolute fun!

Amazing Stay!!

There entire basement is yours they provided snacks and they have coffee provided. They have a guest book and a binder full of their animals on their farm listed with their names and personalities which I thought was very unique and lovely. The place is spacious and clean and the amenities are amazing. Along with the plus of being introduced to all their animals by their lovely daughter. Such a wonderful family and home. Thank you for everything

Wonderful stay

We loved the house, the animals, and the hospitality of the host. We brought our 3 young grandchildren over to visit the animals and were treated to a personalized tour. We even got to pet newborn baby goats. The house was very centralized to everything we needed. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cute and Cozy Home

We only stayed for a few days but it was a great experience. The house was clean and comfortable. Everything you might need is available. My daughters loved seeing the animals!

Property and host were both excellent! We were able to meet and interact with their horses, dogs and goat including a new two-day-old litter of adorable goats. Property was super nice and very very clean, and host provided items such as coffee (and sugar/creamer), shampoo and other bathroom necessities, and kitchen items such as aluminum foil, zip loc and trash bags, and spices which have generally not been provided for our previous stays. Location is very accessible and convenient. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay, the property, or our host! Thanks Ron!!

Family ties

Few family members come in from texas had some winter fun up at big cottonwood also had family member in hospital so half of the family was at the hospital everyday. We had a great time at big cottonwood and the person in the hospital is doing much better

What An Experience!

Ron is an excellent communicator and host. The property is beautiful and the online photos don’t do it justice! The bedrooms and living area were comfortable and cozy. We loved waking up every morning to the relaxing waterfall and animals. Ron and his daughter took time out of their busy day to let us meet their animals and spend quality time with them. We learned so much and can’t wait to come back!

Luxurious large rental with view

We had a wonderful stay here creating family memories with our daughters family. The home is like new and quite luxurious in our opinion with updated appliances and a cozy gas fireplace. It has a huge amount of comfortable living space that also captures some of the spectacular mountain views of the Salt Lake area and the owners furry friend farm animals. We we worried when first renting that our toddler grandsons would be to loud for the adjoining upper level home. It was the complete opposite. Because we had our own entrance and the whole lowest level of the home to ourselves, we felt as if we were staying in our own condominium resort.Thank you Ron for providing us a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of the nearby city. We will be back in the future if still available.. Carrie and Kurt

Will definitely stay again

The space was beautifully decorated, roomy and cozy. I loved the welcome book introducing all the animals. Next time we stay I will definitely make it a point to interact with the goats and horses. Pros: well stocked kitchen, spacious interior, nice patio area, complimentary snacks and water, good communication with the host, Purple mattress with adjustable base in the main bedroom, and good price! Cons: the space is below the main living quarters of the host. You hear the people and the dogs moving about. I’m sure this is taken into consideration with the price of the rental. The fan in the bathroom is extra noisy but I think that’s all bathroom fans and not specific to this particular one, although I’m definitely not a bathroom fan expert. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because my daughter opened the shutters on the windows and found lots of dead flies. This could easily be remedied though. Otherwise, we had no issues with cleanliness.

We stayed at this property for just over two months and had a very good overall experience. The home was comfortable, well-located, and met our needs in many ways. For an extended stay, we did find it a bit limiting that the kitchen pantry and bedroom walk-in closet were locked and not available for guest use. This likely wouldn’t matter for a shorter visit, but for a long-term stay that extra space would have been much appreciated and would have made it easier to organize and fully unpack.Overall, we enjoyed our time here, and guests planning a long-term stay may want to keep in mind the limited storage space. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Very nice!

The rental is very spacious and has everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Ron was friendly and helpful. We loved visiting with the dogs and pups that were romping around the yard. Would highly recommend!
