Such a good weekend trip!

Majestic Hands Down! Fantastic Experience ❤️⛰️❤️

Brace yourself for an amazing experience. There are spectacular views all around you. We loved waking up to see the mountains as our backdrop. Anyone can talk to you about it, but you will be aw struck when you get to see it first hand. Nature morning sounds are the best wake-up kind of alarm. This property offers an upscale feel with all the amenities needed at your fingertips. It is well kept, and very clean. It is a family friendly setting. If you are lucky you too will see a bear 🐻 like we did. Thank you TN for your hospitality, we are sad to go, but are excited for those who await to experience it!

Beautiful cozy cabin

We loved this cute cabin in the woods! Everything was perfect!! We even saw 4 bears from the patio. The view and deck was our favorite. They had plenty of items in the kitchen, that was a pleasant suprise! Super cute would definitely come back!! Owners were very responsive and helpful! Everything was perfect!

Nice stay

The cabin was very nice with wonderful views. Bears visited (pasted by down below deck) us almost on a daily which the kids loved. Overall great experience.

Beautiful and relaxing

Booked this beautiful home to visit with my adult children. one from California and my other in the Army and my third who will be leaving to the Air Force soon. This was a perfect place to gather as a family and still visit the sights of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We did see some Bears at the front of the proprty making their way down the Mountain it was very exciting for everyone to see.Took a family photo since we dont know when we'll all be togethered like this again.My only advise I'd give to anyone booking this beautiful home in the cooler months is to bring blankets. Over all a perfect stay a beautiful home that was clean and comfortable and had all the extras, Thank you for sharing your home.

The best vacation

This was the best vacation we had. We had 10 family members ranging from 74 to 4 years old and we all had a blast. The cabin is beautiful and so cozy! The views from the windows and porches are breathtaking. The hot tub was such a plus! We got to look at snowy mountains and enjoy the hot tub! The cabin was so clean and was stocked with all the essentials. We will definitely stay here again in the future! It allowed us to spend quality family time and make so many sweet memories. Nicole was so quick to respond and was such a gracious host! ❤️

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was clean and cute and just what we needed for a weekend away. The kids loved the game room and hot tub! The views were great from the decks despite the rain all weekend. The only complaint we had, were the mattresses on all of the beds were horrible. Including the bunk beds. Everyone complained about them. They were so hard that it was almost impossible to get comfortable on.

As advertised and then some!

The place was immaculate. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive to even the smallest question. The location was fantastic with an excellent view. Everything was in good working order. No issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend it. It was far enough from the lights that you felt you were in the mountains but close enough not to be inconvenient. Would deefinitely stay here again.

Our stay

The property manager provided all information about the property in a timely manner. Directions were percise and easy to follow. The cabin was easy to check into and when an issue arised she was easily contacted and it was resolved quickly. This was a wonderful place for a nice weekend getaway. I would gladly stay again.

Family getaway

Cabin is in a beautiful location, tucked up a mountain, in the valley crook. Our family of three stayed for two weeks Jan-Feb and we even added an extra day at the end because we didn't want to leave! Residences are close by on either side, but due to the layout of the deck/floorplan not visually noticeable except for property lighting at night. View is unbeatable. The indoor fireplace operates off a mechanical 60m timer. Neighborhood roads are steep and narrow (not lighted) but they are salted. There was no snow (just dusting) when we were there and we did fine in a 2WD. The best part is "civilization" (Pigeon Forge) is only about 20m away but there’s no noise or light pollution. There was a new house being built a couple of lots up the road so there was some construction noise M-F 9-5 but mostly minimal. While we were informed/prepared, for guests with extended stays I recommend more staples beyond just starter kits for toilet tissue and trash bags provided, along with a better alternative for trash disposal (once the 2 cans outside in the bear proof cage are full the guest has to transport them to the dump about 20m away). In fairness, we ate in all meals and were JUST able to fit it all safely into the garbage cans. The other starter kits were lovely (snacks, toiletries etc.) but I would prefer more staples instead :) I recommend not making the guests responsible for propane tank exchange for the grill/firepit when empty. Although this didn’t affect us (used daily) but it would have been a hassle to exchange and no way to tell if already partly used. Matt and Nicole were excellent hosts -- easy to work with and very responsive. They even reached out before bad weather to ensure we got road closure reports and had an alternate way to reach them. They were gracious to work with us (thank you for our extra day! It was a great family hiking day!). Locally, you can schedule grocery pick up at WalMart, Kroger is closer, and Whaley's Country Store is a nice place to stop right outside the neighborhood (try the hot chocolate mixes). King's Family Distillery is a great outing with free tastings and experienced distillers, and the Appalachian Trail off GSMNP 441 near Newfound Gap is beautiful. This was just the vacation we needed...room for all, tons of things to do in the chalet, and lots of downtime enjoying the views and fireplace. As one of the last family vacations with our graduating son, thanks to your family for hosting ours!

Plumbing Issues

The chalet was just what we needed for our family size and ages. The carpet between bathroom and bedroom on main level is very stained and looks dirty! There were plumbing issues with sewer backing up in the shower on main level. The host managed to get a plumber and cleaner out the day of the problem and also paid for a dinner out for us. Not sure if chalet needs spraying or what, but there were lots of ladybugs throughout the chalet.

Mountain Chalet

The property was as expected according to the photos and description. The location provides a great view of the Smokey Mountains and is just a short drive to all of the attractions that Pigeon Forge has to offer. Communication with Nicole & Matt was easy with quick responses to any questions.

Perfect Getaway

Nicole was such an amazing host. Communication was great and she made sure to include everything you could possibly need in the cabin. She even left us some fudge and sparkling cider with the sweetest note for our 10th wedding anniversary. The view is spectacular and the location is perfect if you're planning to spend a lot of time in Pigeon Forge We're already trying to find another time we can come and bring the kids. Side note: I definitely recommend you follow the directions she lists when you rent vs your GPS so you don't end up in no man's land 🤣😂

Originally from California, and for the last 15 years our home has been wherever the US. Navy sends us. We have lived in 8 different homes in the East Coast, Gulf Coast, West Coast, Korea and Guam, all of which have offered their unique adventures. We have learned to bloom wherever we are planted.

Our family loves to explore, especially the National Parks and really any place we can pitch a tent. We are at home snorkeling on the beach, hiking in the mountains, or exploring a museum.

Matt grew up snowboarding and swimming and is always looking for a great SCUBA dive spot. Nicole is an aspiring professional genealogist, loves to dance, and is passionate about raising our kids.

Because of our large family, we love staying in short term rentals whenever we travel. There is really no better way to do it. We are now operating our first short term rental and hope to provide our guests a 5-Star experience at our Smoky Mountain retreat.

We fell in love with this chalet because of the views, easy access, and quiet space for our family to gather. And of course the black bears!

Guests have full access to the private chalet. Guests can also access the HOA's outdoor pool (open seasonally), tennis courts, basketball courts, and more.

In order to offer mountain-top views, the last 1.5 miles up to the chalet is steep, narrow, and windy. Please be aware that depending on weather, roads can be slippery due to snow, ice, and rain.
