The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We stopped at Walmart for groceries on the way to the condo from the airport. We used the community grills for multiple meals and were able to save leftovers in the storage containers provided. The kitchen has all the utensils and gadgets you need. There was even ketchup, mustard and spices in the fridge. Before our trip Linda communicated by sending us a packet of information along with brochures for the things to do on Maui. Having the information before the trip made it easy to plan some of the things we wanted to see while we were there. During our stay she checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Dina’s Sandwitch shop on the property was a great place to grab a meal when we didn’t feel like cooking. We also visited Sugar Beach Bake Shop for malasadas and banana bread. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Everything was exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach - super clean with very well maintained grounds. Linda was an amazing host, she provided tons of information about the resort and area before we arrived and always responded promptly to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Return Visit to Sugar Beach Resort

This was our second time staying at Sugar Beach Resort. We love it here ! The condo has everything you need for an easy stay, literally you just need to bring your clothes and bathing suit! Linda is an amazing host, very communicative and caring of her guests. Sugar beach resort itself is an awesome place to spend the day by the pool or at the beach, with easy access to other parts of the island from this location. The lanai has views of the water and is a great place to sit and have your morning coffee. We will definitely return to this property again

Our stay at this unit was perfect. Having stayed at Sugar Beach Resort a couple times, we cannot imagine a better location to enjoy Maui. The beach was incredible for our daily walks. Walking on Sugar Beach each day was wonderful. The central location is perfect for drives to many sights (Hana, Haleakala, many hidden beaches, wonderful restaurants), whale watching (from shore and tours), and just walking on the long beach right at the doorstep. The stay was enhanced by the host actively communicating through our booking, planning, arrival, and visit to Maui. Her assistance and suggestions before and during our visit was appreciated. She has the condo very well stocked with appliances, basic household supplies, and many other things not expected in rentals. We were immediately at home with all we needed. This made is so easy for us to live on Maui for the month of our stay.The lanai view is amazing with great sunrise views and a shaded lanai in the afternoon. Sunsets on the beach are equally incredible and only steps away. Having Dina's Sand Witch onsite for a local bar was a positive for us also.We will keep this Sugar Beach unit on our list of places to stay again. We also will recommend this specific rental and host to our friends looking for their own Maui Magic escape. For anyone looking for a rental on Maui, this one should be on your short list!

Fantasic Stay at Sugar Beach Resort!

Sugar Beach Resort is at great location when you are staying in Maui. It is very close to many beautiful beaches and restaurants. The condo was equipped with everything we could ask for and super clean. The owner was exceptional with her communication and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. You won't regret booking this condo!

Sugar Beach is the place to stay

This property was so well stocked. You truly just need to bring your clothes and sunscreen. Everything is supplied from a fully stocked kitchen to beach supplies. Even a suitcase scale!! The property is wonderful and the pool is cleaned every morning.

Beautiful Condo, Great Host

This was our 2nd stay at this condo. We couldn’t be more happy with the condo, our host Linda and Sugar Beach Resort. Linda had everything we needed in the condo. The bed was extremely comfortable, the view from the lanai was perfect. We highly recommend Sugar Beach Resort and Linda’s condo. We can’t wait to come back and will be booking this condo again. This condo has everything you need. It sets the bar for what a rental should be. As others have said all you need to bring is your clothes and sunblock. The host provides the rest!This is the most well appointed and clean property we have stayed in. The kitchen has all appliances you need, all the spices, baking, entertaining and storage dishes needed. The washer and dryer in the condo is a nice convenience too. The bed is comfortable.The Beach equipment is all in good working condition, pool noodles, chairs, umbrella, mats and coolers.The host is great at communication and even provided some great tips based on our interests. The property is well represented in the photos and the location is great, right on the beach, quick access to anywhere on the island and the property grounds and pool are well maintained.

Great Condo, great host

We had a great stay at Sugar Beach #401 in Kihei. We appreciated (and used) all the extras in this condo. The owner was very organized and responsive. We love being at Sugar Beach with the beach, pool, hot tub, and sunset views. We give this condo our highest recommendation. We hope to be back!

First time in Maui!

Booking was a breeze. Linda was an excellent host. She communicated everything we needed to know. Smooth check in and check out. The unit was perfect for my husband and I. Great location. Awesome view. I would definitely book again with her and this place.

Wonderful week

We had a wonderful experience staying at Sugar Beach! Condo was clean, quiet and comfortable with absolutely everything we would need to include things like everything you’d need to pack a lunch for the beach. Very quiet, walkable beach. Linda was so responsive I think she would’ve even responded in the middle of the night graciously (although I didn’t need to). Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic location, everything you could possibly need provided in the condo (coolers, beach chairs)

Thank you Linda for a wonderful vacation! Your condo is very comfortable and provided us with all we needed to enjoy Maui. We really just needed our clothes - you have it all. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. We appreciate your incredible organization! We will be back! Mahalo

I am very happy that you found our newly remodeled condo “very comfortable”. I have tried to provide almost everything you might need with the exception of your food and clothing during your stay and agree having the washer/dryer is a big plus! She thought of everything...

We've stayed at many VRBO's and we have one of our own as well. Linda wins! She has absolutely everything you need. I even took pictures because I adore her organization so much. Bed was so comfortable and she even shared spices! We BBQ'd almost every night. The view of Molikini while i worked on the couch soothed my soul.

Great condo in Kihei facing the beach and pool/hot tub area. I walked miles in bare feet along the beach every day. So relaxing! Condo was clean and the household supplies were plenty from Tupperware to toilet paper!

We love Sugar Beach!!!

We've been staying at Sugar Beach for about 15 years. The owners in 401 are extremely gracious, helpful and generous with the items they supply for a visit to the condo. We didn't need to bring anything but our clothes! They made the entire reservation process, check in and checkout a breeze. And the condo is awesome! Everything you need to feel at home. We will absolutely be staying in 401 again!

Just SPECTACULAR

I can not say enough about this property, location, and owner communication! It was exactly as described- and MORE! They had literally everything we needed, from spot clearer to Goo-Gone! It was shocking the amount of thought and details that were in place to ensure an amazing stay! We appreciated the Welcome Gift(S), the cleanliness, and amazing views (that were true to the photos)! The location was excellent as well! There was options to drive less than 30 mins to get to local beaches, and lots of spots within 10-15 mins that you can Lyft to! The next time we are in Maui- this is where we will stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
