The hospitals, stadium and downtown are 3 miles away. A golf course is across the street and a canoe livery is a mile away. Complete privacy.

There was no furniture at all in the den, only the family room. Arrived at 4 PM on Thanksgiving and there was nothing more than a single 1-quart saucepan and 1 frying pan. Wasn’t able to cook the dinner than I drive to Michigan with. No toaster, only a few glasses and the water smelled metallic. No shovel even to clear a path to my car. It was terrible.

Great Ann Arbor Stay

Roomy house and beautiful views in Ann Arbor, approximately 10-15 drive from the stadium and downtown. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. We stayed in winter so did not get to utilize the outdoor amenities but appreciated the thoughtful indoor amenities including a full kitchen and Keurig coffee maker (with pods available).

Weekend Trip

Well kept private pool area was great for relaxing, grilling out, and reading. Nice hot tub. We had a lovely weekend checking out Ann Arbor and coming back to relax and make dinner.

Great vintage house close to Ann Arbor

This house has a very unique mid century modern aesthetic and floorplan. My family and friends stayed here for a weekend to visit my sister at University of Michigan and see a football game. The location is great to get to and from campus easily but in a quiet and remote location. Chris was an excellent host that communicated with us the whole time and let us check out a little later than required.

Talk about a superb host!

I booked this rental for family during my wedding weekend, and I had to change my reservation details after my initial booking. Chris was extremely helpful, understanding, and accommodating. He was responsive and helpful during the checkin process. When he swung by the property to welcome my family, my mom reported he even stayed to watch my nephew jump into the pool a couple times (at my nephew’s request). He was very warm and welcoming. My family had a great stay at this lovely property, and the pool was a big hit.

The host was very nice

The house could of been very beautiful but there was alot of issues...It was cleaned very well and very out dated ..Some Furniture was stained very bad as well as the carpet....thought we had access to atleast 2 full bathrooms we only was able to use 1 and a 1/2 for 6 people.. Windows was filthy plus the house was very dusty.. The water 💧 had a horrible smell and taste even though we ranked the water system

Cool home - vintage modern but needed a good dusting and spider sweep

I love the location and the style of the home. It's clear the owner has sentiment attached to the place. I rented the place for commencement weekend - two nights. The hot tub and pool were not usable. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. It is a place to make memories, but come prepared to do a wipe down and spider check. There was a layer of dust on all of the surfaces. And there were bugs in the light fixtures in at least one of the rooms. A spider jumped out at me as I stripped the bed at the end of the stay. I'm grateful for the peace of mind I had for both nights of sleep, at least. I see the potential for this place, but perhaps the owner is more interested in selling it as is. It needs work, but I see the possibilities for the place for sure. I had a list of things to share with the owner post-stay, but decided to just let it be.

Large house in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay in this house! The house has a lot of space and windows with views of the beautiful property. We appreciated the private and peaceful location surrounded by large trees. The host was very responsive and helpful, and checking in and out was very easy. We also appreciated the fresh flowers and thoughtful treats.

Best Rental House Experience

The property was perfect for hosting my daughter's family with 2 kids age 3 and 5. The pool was a big hit with the kids. It was warm and just the right size and depth for water play. The 3 year old was able to tiptoe in the shallow end and dive for small objects on the steps. The 5 year old swimmer enjoyed jumping in the deep end. There is also a hot tub for adults, with a nice view of the property. The house and yard have multiple places for gathering and eating, inside and out. During one day with rain, we didn't feel confined. The beautiful green, grassy hill, was perfect for Nerf pump rockets, and outdoor play. The property is close to many Ann Arbor kid attractions (like Hands On Museum, Matthaei Botanical Garden's Kid Garden, and Gallup Park playground and bike trails). The host, Chris, is wonderfully personable and wonderfully responsive-we had a few challenges with our itinerary, and Chris helped us work each of them out. We were unanimous in hoping to make this our annual Ann Arbor family reunion spot.
