This place was perfect for my family (4 kids, 6 years and under). Everything was clean, beach within walking distance (not super clear, but great sand and tons of oyster shells!). The yard was awesome and the kids had great fun running around. Kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms worked great. Awesome place!

Peaceful and quaint getaway

With two young kids, this was a great place to take them to the beach without the hustle and bustle of a touristy area. The state park surrounding the cottage is a beautiful backdrop. The cottage has everything you need and is well maintained with added amenities. Watch for deer and wildlife outdoors! Beach is close with convenient access. Would stay again.

The property and house were accurate to the description. Super charming and remote. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing get away. Clean and great communication from host. Amenities were plentiful. Would absolutely recommend and return there!

Charming and peaceful!

This beach cottage is magical! I needed a peaceful and renewing vacation, and this lovely home was perfect. The decor is charming with a bit of whimsy, and it is very well equipped. Freshly planted flowers and plants added to the natural beauty of the location. We also saw lots of wildlife, including several young and well mannered gators at a nearby pond (is it called Alligator Point after all), an abundance of birds, and tons of horsehoe crabs.The property owner was wonderful and very responsive. If you are looking for a true getaway from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy the beauty of the natural world, this is the perfect home!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your home with us!! The Marsh Beauty was very nice, clean and decorated so beachy. We enjoyed the backyard with all the pines and how quiet it was. The deer and all the birds was definitely an added bonus. The beach was only a 5 minute walk which was perfect. Enjoyed our long walks on the beach every day. Saw a lot of wildlife such as dolphins, sting rays, horse shoe crabs and a ton of cool shells. Our time was everything we were hoping for, we would definitely go back.

Quaint serenity!

We loved the property. Perfectly tucked away but not far from restaurants. The coastal decor adds a personal touch. Everything was as described and expected. Comfortable and quaint serenity is what we needed and Cindy delivered.

Relaxing paradise

The cottage is cozy with quirky touches and a pleasant ambiance. Not far from the gulf but away from the Maine. Highly recommend.

Peaceful getaway!

We had a perfect stay at Marsh Beauty! It was a little slice of peacefulness nestled in a beautiful setting. We had deer come to graze nearby and were close enough to a gorgeous, isolated beach. We found great restaurants not too far away. The communication from the host was great, and the cottage is decorated beautifully and comfortably! We will be back for another visit. This was a gem of a find!

Quiet Retreat

My husband and our dogs had a lovely relaxing getaway in this cottage! We saw a deer through the picture windows, strolled the quier beach and saw dolphins, and felt completely at home. We also enjoyed eating at Angelo's seafood plac3 just a short drive away. We feel refreshed!

Solitude

A very nice natural setting for this beachy feel cottage. We watched deer in the backyard and played many games there with our family. Very close to parks with hiking trails and beaches. Fishing and swimming.

Peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful

The cottage is as advertised and provided everything we needed for our weekend away. The beds were great and the place was spotless. Everything we needed was provided. Wonderful quiet beaches and we had a great time exploring. We would definitely stay there again.

Marsh beautiful

We had a wonderful relaxing time. Beautiful weather and the cottage was perfect. Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the beach and sunrise. We sat around the fire pit and watched the stars each evening. Just Beautiful! We will be back.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet, peaceful retreat. While we were in & out without any time to enjoy the beach or outdoors, it was perfect for our needs. We wanted something away from the hustle of Tallahassee on football gameday, so this sanctuary was simply excellent.

Beautiful location

We very rarely go back to somewhere we have been before, but this is our second visit to "Marsh Beauty." It is quiet, remote, but has access to beautiful beaches and amazing forests. Ideal for long walks and quiet recuperation from the steps of daily life. It's in a state forest, 30+ miles from the nearest grocery store, but it was just what we needed. The cottage is well presented and has all the necessary amenities. If your looking to get away from the world in an amazing natural environment, this is the place for you.
