Welcome to Tropical Winds! Located directly on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This Three (3) Bedroom, Three (3) Bathroom condo equipped to sleep 8 and is perfect for your next beach getaway! Relax and enjoy the Gulf views from the gulf front balcony! Our unit is on the corner of the top floor - with spectacular views! You're sure to enjoy this spacious condominium, centrally located close to the heart of Gulf Shores, close to restaurants, shopping, and area amusement parks.

This condo is equipped with a full kitchen including a dining area and bar stools. There are also many nice restaurants in the area so you can avoid using the kitchen altogether if you desire! Enjoy all the local amenities: fresh seafood, outlet shopping, movies, a water park, miniature golf, a zoo, boating, zip-lining, and swimming. There is so much to do on your visit!

The Master Bedroom has a King Bed and Balcony access. Each bedroom has a bathroom. Fresh Linens are provided. The balcony has ample seating for relaxing with a book or magazine. Another benefit is that you are just steps away from the beach, so you don't have to carry your beach gear on a long walk. On the ground floor of this condo there is a beach-side swimming pool, an exercise room, convenient bathrooms, vending machines and a covered seating area for sitting and enjoying the gulf breeze. You even have a covered area to load/unload your car, and carts are available to help with luggage.

A great getaway is closer than you think! A visit to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores offers the perfect balance of non-stop activity and lay-around-doing-nothing time. Putter around a bit on one of our championship golf courses. Cast your line for deep-sea adventure on one of the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach fishing charters. Travel back in history with a visit to Fort Morgan, the site of the Civil War Battle of Mobile Bay. Commune with Mother Nature as you hike wildlife trails gazing at shorebirds.

Owner was very helpfull. The condo was in a good location. We walked to a few places. It was clean. Everything you would need. The only issue was the shower was hard to turn on and off. We will stay there again

Great Stay!

Everything was good. Great location and plenty of room for us. Getting a parking pass was a little hard to figure out but we got it taken care of! Other than that it was great!

Location! Location! Amazing views of the Gulf from the condo balcony and master bedroom! Easy access…parking to elevator, elevator to condo, and condo to pool/beach! Very comfortable and excellent room layout…each bedroom has its own bathroom! Close to all the restaurants and attractions! Great communication with owner! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend this wonderful condo!

We had such a good trip. The condo is in a great location, the pool deck has a perfect beach view (we spent more time there than on the actual beach), and our balcony was an amazing view! Looked just like the pictures. The host was very responsive and kind. The owner of the building has the cutest dog ever... shoutout to Lucky.

Cousins reconnect

The property is very beautiful and it is in a perfect location. The balcony and ocean view was perfect. The only downside was the lack of products such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. The bathtubs and showers seriously need upgrading. Our host was amazing and responded quickly to my text. I would definitely recommend this Property again.

Spring Break getaway

Our condo stay was comfortable and roomy for our group. The unit itself could definitely benefit from some updates in the bathroom. The master shower handle was unattached from the wall and difficult to shut off. There was great water pressure though! The appliances were very outdated. One of the burners on the stove top was just hanging and unusable. The tray below was greasy and would produce smoke when the burner was in use. The view was beautiful from the balcony. Also, the owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had.

Nice area, nice condo, but not far from needing to be updated.

All went well. Particularly like the size of the building, only 32 units which means no long waits on elevator, no crowd at pool, and fewer people trying to claim their “space” in front of the condo on the beach. Also did not have any parking space issues. Great location, close to HangOut, but not too close if you no what I mean. The teenagers loved it!

Great location

Exceptional location! We had a mishap with one of the beds the first night but after one call, they fixed it the next morning. The owners were extremely nice & helpful. The only complaint is the floors were filthy. You couldn’t see it but after my niece ran barefoot in there the first 10 minutes, her feet were black.

For an older property this unit was in an excellent location, very spacious, close to the beach (some newer properties are set back more, nicely equipped (extra pillows and blankets, good amount of bath towels, lots of pots/pans/ etc), blinds or curtains on every window for better sleeping, clean pool and common areas. The smaller complex meant fewer people on their beach, fewer people at the pool and easy and adequate parking.The cons are small things but need to be noted: like all rental properties, the info says that you are given "starter" paper products, etc. but there was only a partial roll of tissue in the bathrooms, 1/2 bottle of dish soap, 1/2 bottle of hand soaps in bathrooms. The ice maker had no ice- we bought some then discovered later that it was just turned off. There were no pot holders, no stoppers in some of the tubs and sinks. We looked everywhere and never found the sheets for the sofa bed until the last day and they were in a very unlikely spot- in a basket in a cabinet containing the puzzles and books- be sure to look there!My only real complaint is that for 2 solid days there was roof work going on directly above our top floor unit- hammering, power tools and it was very aggravating when we wanted to take a "sun break/quiet time" as there was no quiet to be had...... I wish we had been advised of this construction issue ahead of time as it would have been a deal breaker- msg to owner but no reply.

Amazing view and location!

Wonderful VERY spacious three bed three full bath condo on the top floor. Absolutely stunning views of the ocean front from the large balcony!! Kitchen is extremely well equipped, all of the beds were very comfortable, and the space was immaculately clean at check-in. Just a short elevator ride down and you are directly on the beach- there is also a lovely beachfront pool. the condo is exactly as pictured and if possible as even more spacious in person. Walking distance to tons of places to eat and short driving distance for lots of gulf coast entertainment. I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again – great space and an excellent value for the price!!

I would like to have cleaners and whiter towels. Body soaps in bathrooms. We have to go out and buy . Check the lights bulbs of lamps. Battery of remote control were bad in one of them Parking permite was given next day

Nice but needs a few upgrades!!

The unit was nice with a few exceptions, the showers all dropped when shut off, the beds had sand in them as if they hadn’t been changed and the twin beds creaked so bad it was hard to sleep. Plus you had to pay a fee for cleaning and still pull the sheets off the bed and pile towels in the hall. Overall it was a good experience with those few things that need addressed.

Tropical Winds 804

We enjoyed our stay at Tropical Winds unit 804. It was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. The balcony was spacious and the view overlooked the ocean without obstruction. The only issue we had was the operation of bathtub faucets. There was a knob to turn water on/off and a temperature knob behind it. It took us some time to learn to operate it without scalding ourselves. I would suggest replacing the faucets with regular ones. Otherwise it was very comfortable and we would return to the unit.

Beware of beach!

We have small children with us so intended to put up a canopy. The beach behind this condo is very small and you cannot put up canopies above a certain size. So we literally had a canopy we could not use! We put up about six big umbrellas which took up more space. Big drop off getting to the water so if you have knee problems or issues walking this is not the place for you. Condo is ok and was reasonably priced. So if you just need an ok condo, this is it.
