Welcome to this recently remodeled home just one house from famous Newport Beach - a coveted location in a stellar beach community. Here you will easily be able to have an indoor/outdoor seaside interlude, Southern California style.

There is a nice back patio with a dining table and a barbecue, so meal-making is easy. Comfortable seating ensures you can rest and enjoy the beach vibe, a peek of an ocean view, and the ocean breezes after your daily adventures.

Enter this home and find yourself in a nicely appointed great room with slider access to the back patio. The great room has a large TV and comfortable seating from which to enjoy all the delights of the ocean.

An inside dining area is accompanied by a modernized kitchen with everything you need to create meals and snacks for all. A kitchen bar is a great perch for supervising or help out the cook(s). Just add the food and camaraderie and have fun. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby in the event you do not feel like cooking at all!

Additional amenities include complimentary WiFi and cable.

Things to Know

There will be construction nearby until mid-June 2024. Usual hours of intermittent construction are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with occasional weekday work until 6:30 p.m. Construction will not occur on weekends. Rates have been discounted by 10 percent for all booking stays between now and mid-June 2024 to compensate for any inconvenience.

Parking will not be available for this property between August 1 and September 10, 2024.

Smoking is prohibited.

This home does not have air conditioning.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no-tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

Reservations for this home will not be refunded if cancelled within 60 days of arrival.

Amazing Newport Home!
I stayed here with me and seven of my friends to celebrate the Fourth of July and it was absolutely perfect! Many reviews worried me about the cleanliness, comfortability of the beds, and the heat but I can guarantee we weren’t bothered by a single one. The home was as clean and neat as you can expect a beach house to be, the beds were SO comfortable, and the house got a little warm during the day but opening the windows at night really helped. They provided beach towels and chairs. We had a view of the beach from our amazing balcony that we spent most of our time on. The property was located street side and alley side which made it very convenient to access local restaurants, shops, and was less than a five minute walk to the pier. The hosts were very understanding and provided us with a warning when the volume got too loud. Parking was a bit of a struggle but nothing different than the rest of the homes in Newport. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend staying here!

Tired Property In A Great Location
On the positive, the barbecue worked great, the location could not be beat and the maintenance staff were very responsive. On the negative, the property was very hard to find. The house numbers were over the garage in the alley and not on the front of the unit. When we arrived, it was dark and the security lights on both sides of the property as well as over the door were burned out. A door leading to a utility closet alongside the property was broken and swung wide open and I walked into it and bruised my leg because it was pitch black. I tripped on the bottom stair because it was pitch black. It took two days to finally get the lights fixed. We did not have cable for two days. The fireplace was not operational for two days and when they fixed it the first time it smelled heavily of a gas leak. We had to have maintenance come back and it was discovered that the smell was coming from very old and overused fireplace logs which should have been replaced a long time ago. Several of the kitchen utensils were broken and had to be replaced. The toaster was broken the middle burner on the range was broken. While the maintenance crew was extremely responsive and polite, we should not have had to deal with maintenance people for the first two days of our visit. The property is very tired and somebody needs to go through and make numerous repairs. Most definitely not our idea of luxury. Finally, there is no view as depicted in the pictures. There is a property which has just been constructed in front of the back deck area. If you want a view, you have to walk to the beach which isn’t very far away. I would really like to provide a better review and I was not planning on providing one at all, but after numerous requests I bit the bullet and here it is. As stated previously, the location cannot be beat, but I have most definitely stayed in luxurious accommodations and I am sorry, this one does not even come close.

Beautiful and Awesome Beach Access!
This place was the perfect size for us! The Vacasa staff was prompt to respond to any issues we brought to their attention. The access to the beach is awesome, the layout is awesome. The main area is HUGE so it was a wonderful hang out spot for the kids when they were resting from the sun and waves. The towels were nicely stocked and there were many extra towels as well. They also provided a lot of fans as this unit is not air conditioned. That being said, it is only 4 stars for a few reasons, and in Vacasa's defense, we didn't think it worth it to bother them with these details. The bed frame in the master and the secondary queen bed were broken and jury rigged to still sort of work. The center of the master bed bowed in so bad that every morning I woke up with back pain. A few cabinets in the kitchen were broken. There is not any place to get sand off very well so we ended up going to my sister's rental next door to rinse the sand off so we didn't track it inside. The sensor on the garage kept falling off so shutting the garage was a bit of a chore. But that was handled easily enough. Otherwise this place is awesome! We'd stay there again next year if they had not increased the price so much. :-/
