Terrible and do not rent this house.

First off this is a basement type apartment not an entire place , the owner lives upstairs which is less than uncomfortable. On top I’m of that the second night in the place ( which was a Sunday night ) he decided to throw a party. Due to the party and people partying in the street all night my Rental car was vandalized by his guests. Do not rent this Vrbo under any circumstances. What a joke.

I am very sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. The unit is hardly a basement apartment, it is a split level on the water. There was a party for a 16th birthday party and as soon as you called the party upstairs was shut down promptly at 8:30 pm.

Great location to see the all the action

Being right on the bay, you'll get an up front and center view of all the boats going by and lots of people watching. Fun location if you like action! We went for a weekend for Father's Day and we enjoyed our stay. There is a small beach right next door which is kid friendly since it's on the bay, no big waves. Great to take the paddle board out. There is also a park next to that. The owner was great with communication and I appreciated him allowing our older dogs to stay at the home. Parking can be tough be he allowed us 2 spots on the side of the home. A little tight but we worked it out. There are two patio chairs outside on the shared patio. We ended up using our beach chairs for more seating. There is an indoor table inside that seats 6 and a counter bar that seats another 3. Plenty of space to host a get together. House wasn't fully stocked so we needed to pick up a few things to make due. If you don't plan on cooking you're in good shape. Lots of great restaurants in the area. We also door dashed some meals. Super close to the ocean beach too. Owners do live above but we didn't have an issue with that at all. Thanks for sharing your home with us Dennis.

Amazing Property

The location, activities for the family and the house were all amazing. Being on the Bay, being able to be at the beach & walk everywhere really make staying here relaxing. The owner’s communication was quick and thorough. We would recommend to anyone.

A+++ love this location!

We had a great time at this beautiful home! The location is amazing, close to everything within walking distance. We loved the bay views and being able to access the dock. Dennis was responsive to any of our needs, we would definitely rent this home again!

Beautiful home

First of all I want to say this is a beautiful home to rent. It is right on the water on the bayside with a small beach right next to the house. Parking is a little tough but we did have two carport parking spaces with a tight fit but it worked. Outside was comfortable but not a lot of patio chairs so we used our beach chairs to enjoy the outside which is very enjoyable during the day and beautiful at night with all the lights. We were a little disappointed in just having a Weber BBQ so we did end up bringing a second BBQ from home. Make sure you bring your own utensils, charcoal and starter fluid. Inside was very comfortable and really perfect for my family. In the living room there a two sofas (no sleepers) and a comfortable futon . Plenty of seating for everyone. Wifi is great. For the Kitchen...make sure you bring everything that you need to cook and store leftovers in. There is a Mr. Coffee coffeepot, blender, 1 big okay skillet, 1 very sm skillet and like 2 pots. You'll need baggies, trash bags, papertowels, napkins and if you want to quickly wash anything then bring your own dishsoap. There is a dishwasher and washer and dryer. Plenty of eating utensils and plates, cups and glasses. The master bathroom is stunning!!! You'll need all your own bath items. There are only like 5 towels for 2 bathrooms and you'll need one of those for a floor mat. There was 4 beach towels and plenty of beach chairs along side of the house. All in all it was a beautiful house and we all had fun!! Thank you to our host Dennis who was very easy to communicate with too! I highly reccommend staying in this beautiful home right on the bay water!!

Perfect Location!!!!

My family had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week. Our stay was fantastic. Plenty of room for the whole family. The location is ideal and the views are picturesque. We enjoyed the kayaks and the beautiful sunsets from the private patio and dock.

I believe this is the best location in Newport Beach. Amazing day and night views. Close to everything. No neighbors on two sides and wide open views. Bike path is close, You can see the bay from living room kitchen and master bedroom. You can hear the surf at night. I can recommend the best restaurants, bars, help book a Duffy boat for you and your family or a large yacht for a party.

The Peninsula in Newport Beach has the bay on one side and the ocean on the other, so you get the best of both worlds. You can walk everywhere or rent beach cruisers, stand up paddle boards, Duffy boats…see the whole town. We have the best views, restaurants & everything you could dream of!

It is directly on the Bay which is hard to find, you wake up to the sounds of the water, beautiful birds and the afternoons are filled with people going by on boats enjoying life to the fullest. You can walk 2 blocks to the ocean and see the sunset, stroll to get a cocktail and dinner.
