The Poppy Cottage is a MODERN, STYLISH, OVERSIZED cottage with a spa-like feel to it. LOVELY& NEW patio area for alfresco dining and entertaining! Large windows and soaring ceilings emphasize the spaciousness of this fabulous 1 bedroom cottage. Delight in the stainless-steel chef's kitchen! The sunny and colorful living room is relaxing and spacious with vibrant furnishings. Down the hall, you will find an oversized spa-like bathroom with both a rain and regular shower head. The king sized bedroom is next door with an ample walk-in closet. So close to downtown Newport and beaches! Pets OK! Fenced yard, outdoor seating, gas grill and peaceful setting!! This is a unique spot for Newport!!

Nice clean property. Giant bed. Plenty of storage space and a multitude of lights. Liked the outdoor patio. No hair dryer as advertised. Although I understand the owner’s style, I think a table at dining height even for only two people would be a plus.

The cottage was just as described. It was conveniently located yet private and serene. Everything worked. We had no issues whatsoever. We will definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect for our needs - to be close to family. The size was just right for us and our dogs for a short visit and the fenced in yard was key. Note that the hard fence was only one 3 sides of the yard. The "4th" side was a short rock wall with brush that created the boundary. It was a potential issue but we managed it ok... as there were lots of birds and critters around and we have dogs with strong hunting instincts! Just be aware if you also have similar dogs. A couple items that I messaged the owner about - a moldy Keurig reservoir and also (apparently) old water and mold in the electric teapot. She responded quickly with delivery of a brand new coffee pot. Also, I need to tell her that the bathroom sink drain was VERY slow. Little things, but they can make a difference. All in all, it was good and we would likely stay again!

Amazing Cottage

The cottage was perfect and exactly as listed. It was filled with all the items a house would need, and we were amazingly surprised and extremely happy. Located on a quiet side street, it is just a three-minute walk to Pebble Beach. Additionally, it is an easy fifteen-minute drive to the main strip in Newport, where there are numerous great restaurants nearby. The cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The attention to detail in the decor and the thoughtful amenities provided made our stay incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living areas were cozy and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The location of the cottage is ideal for those looking to explore the area. Pebble Beach, just a short walk away, offered a serene and picturesque setting for morning strolls and evening sunsets. The proximity to Newport's main strip meant we could easily access a variety of dining options, from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants. We discovered several local gems that we would highly recommend to future visitors. Overall, our stay at the cottage was a delightful experience. The combination of a well-appointed home, a peaceful location, and convenient access to local attractions made it a perfect getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the wonderful memories we created.

Great place! Just as described. Our furry friend Bru was even able to stay! A stones throw away from Pebble beach which was unique and a wonderful view! Bru also loved it. Easy check in process. In and out! Highly recommend

Quiet, peaceful location near the water

We could hear the waves crashing on the beach when we arrived. The property was very clean and ready for us. It’s a short walk to the pebble beach down the street, about 1/2 a block.

Most perfect cottage

The cottage is perfect in every aspect. Everything is clean, new and beautiful. It has everything, even beach chairs and umbrella if you forget yours. It’s conveniently located, just a short walk from Pebble beach and 7 minute drive to Second Beach. Cannot wait to come back. Thank you to our host for this beautiful place.

A secret gem...

This cottage is perfectly located with parking on-site. It's a short walk to Pebble Beach and easy access to surrounding towns. The kitchen is fabulous for anyone who wants to take advantage of the local fare and cook at home. Great refrigerator and amazing propane stove. The bathroom was luxurious. We would definitely return. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pup and the owner we incredibly responsive in regards to any questions that came up.

Perfect stay in Middletown

Lisa's one bedroom cottage was perfect for our needs. My husband and I plus our 2 pups enjoyed our time, we found the place clean and tidy, bed was comfy, shower had great pressure, strong internet, nice fenced yard for the dogs to run and play, parking right outside our cottage. In a quiet, safe neighborhood away from the hubbub but close to so many attractions in Middletown, Newport, Tiverton, Little Compton, etc. We could hear the ocean waves from the cottage! Communication and check in/out went seamlessly, no problems whatsoever. Can't wait to come back!!

So unique to Newport! Modern, open, and airy cottage with soaring ceilings and a spa like bathroom is a standout in the Newport rental market. Perfect getaway place for couples, young families or anyone looking for a quiet and serene spot! You can not go wrong with Poppy Cottage! The yard is fenced in on 3 sides and has a stone wall on the 4th side, which makes it a great place for pets and kids to play! You are a 3 minute walk to "Pebble Beach" which is a secret small beach that is perfect to head down to with a cup of coffee in the morning. The cottage has AC for those humid summer nights and a large stainless steel kitchen for cooking lobster! Also, gas grill and outdoor seating located in the yard.

You are so close to a secret and unique little beach! You are also surrounded by multi million dollar estates, but tucked away in a private little compound, safe quiet and yet close to all that Newport has to offer! Just 2 miles to third and second beach and less than 4 miles to the downtown wharves of Newport! Dining, Shopping and bars galore! Also check out the 2 wineries and Sweet Berry Farm which are right down the road from Poppy Cottage!
