The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great for Families

The condo was perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Views of both the ocean and the bay. The tiki bar/pool area was great! Highly recommend!

Don't worry about the view ITS GREAT!

We were worried about the "side" view but it was great. Master bedrooms mattress was heaven. Great parking spot.

Wonderful

Our stay was too short. Condo was amazing spacious. Only small complaint from others was hair in showers. Blinds were dirty and rolled up carpet left laying on both balconies. Overall very peaceful pleasant stay.

Super perfect oceanfront condo

This was a super nice oceanfront condo to stay at. The place was clean and the views are memorable. The front bedroom and living room have the oceanfront view. Super great for the sunrise. The 2 back bedrooms have the great bayside views with the sunset view. I highly recommend this condo for your vacation. The Golden Sands has the outdoor pool and the 22nd floor indoor pool. And of course there is the tiki bar which we spend a lot of time at. The front desk has the most polite and helpful people that I have come in contact with in my travels. Can't wait to return to this place.

Great condo, great views.

We just rented this condo. 6 adults had plenty of room in this 3bd/3ba unit. The view is spectacular, we really enjoyed sitting on both the front and back balcony. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and had been updated. We enjoyed the 22nd floor pool and sauna. We also played pool upstairs. The outdoor pool was still open for the season, so we went there too. Easy access to the beach, plenty of restaurants in the area. A couple of things could easily be fixed: please remove stains on livingroom carpet and replace some of the pillows. We highly recommend this place if you going to Ocean City, MD.

Nice place but cleaning crew not great and had to call servicemen twice. One for water leak and one for poorly cooling fridge.

Golden Sands amenities were great, but room amenities need updates

The location and property amenities were great; however, the room amenities needs updating. The beds were uncomfortable and need to be updated. Sleeping in was not an option because some of the blinds were missing.. so the kids were up early. The room location (being on the corner) was nice - made for two great views (ocean and bay). Unfortunately, we were not able to access the room’s wifi, but we were able to access Golden Sands guest wifi.

Great Quick Getaway

Other than the Cruizin' event in Ocean City that weekend, we had a wonderful time. The location was great, walking distance to groceries, restaurants and shopping. The condo was not thoroughly clean especially the kitchen. The fridge had some sticky stain under the glass on the bottom shelf, we did not want to clean it in the fear of breaking the glass. We just covered it with a towel. The stove had oil splatter on the knobs and under hood microwave as well as the coffee pot. Just needed to be wiped down. The coffee table was not wiped down either. Other than that it was a great quick getaway. The ocean view was fabulous! We would stay here again.

Excellent Views but No WIFI, Not Clean and poor response

We arrived to an unclean apartment. There was food on the floor and patio. The bathrooms were not clean and had tooth paste sprays everywhere. There was a foul smell in the kitchen area of rotten meat. There was NO WIFI. As soon as opened the patio screen door the mosquitoes flew in. Had to get them out. We complained and sent photographs. They were supposed to send a local team member to resolve the issues but no one came. Neither did they help with WIFI. So we stayed without WIFI. We are extremely unhappy and regret booking this place for the price we paid. I request a refund for the poor service and unclean facility.

Service terrible to fix issues quickly

The property was ok the view was good. The main reason for the low review is. 1. They had a fire alarm test that lasted all day. We were not informed of this in advance. Affected the sleep of my elderly parents for the rest of the week as they normally nap in the afternoon. 2. It took 4 days to respond to a bad smelly dishwasher. We had to do all dishes by hand even after the repair as the dishwasher was still not smelling good. Probably needs to be cleaned professionally. 3 the beds and bedding is not comfortable and need updated. 4. Broken screen door on bedroom balcony. Not a big deal but wanted to fix it at the end of our trip. This place really needs attention. With so many others in this area we will probably not visit again.

Great staff, great location, not so great condo

Absolutely love the location right on the beach, and the staff on site was absolutely amazing. The condo was clean the beds were comfortable I want they say the kitchen is well stocked that is not an exaggeration. Our issues were every window in every room was missing at least 3 slats from the vertical blinds which made it difficult to sleep past sunrise since the condo faces the east. One of the sliding glass doors did not work, all the screen doors for the sliding glass doors were torn and one was even off the track. The pillows were old and flat and about half the towels were very thin. The reason I am giving this condo four stars in spite of the problems is because the staff was amazing and the location of the condo as well as how well it was equipped we’re worth it and the problems were not major. I would definitely recommend this location to a friend, however I would advise them to bring their own towels and pillows along with a sleeping mask so that the early morning sun didn’t wake them up. I want to reiterate again that the customer service is five star here.

Could use some TLC

We have been coming to the Golden Sands on and off for 30 years. This is the second year that we stayed in this unit. There are minor things that could be done that would have made the stay a lot more comfortable. Multiple things were broken or not working and the place is definitely dirtier than it has been in the past. Not the kind of things that you expect when staying at such a beautiful hotel.
