Great Lake House

Great Lake house! Great location, house looked newly updated, clean, and very nice amenities! Nice screened porch and fire pit area overlooking the lake. Enjoyable family weekend, we look forward to staying again!

Perfect week on the lake.

This is a great house on Lake Gaston cove. Well appointed kitchen and few extras in case you forgot anything. Love the screen porch and comfy beds. Nice area to float in the lake. Plenty of sitting areas outside. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Gaston for the Labor Day weekend. It was great having the boat dock and the house was wonderful.!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed being out on the water and exploring the different islands Lake Gaston has too ofter. The best part of our stay was hanging out on the amazing screened in porch!!! Whether we were drinking our morning coffee listening to the birds wake up, or smoking dinner on the trager!! We also enjoyed making s’mores and spending quality time with the family around the awesome fire pit! We will definitely be back for another weekend on the lake! Our Host was amazing to work with! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Favorite spot

This property is our favorite place at the lake. The owner is awesome at responding to any issues or questions. This property is well maintained and has anything you will need to make your stay great! Great location on a nice quiet cove with a new dock with cusions to protect you boat if you bring one. We have stayed here a couple times and will definitely be coming back.

Perfect location for a getaway

The house was so clean and well decorated. Easy access to the dock as well. Plenty of kitchen tools and the fire pit was an added bonus!! Excellent communication with the owners and we couldn’t ask for a better time. Thank you!!

Fun on the sun!

This is a very nice property in a nice neighborhood. We enjoyed staying there. The only down side was the 10:00 am checkout. We’ve always had an 11:00 am checkout, so this was really rushed!

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It was clean and very well organized for our family to go in and make ourselves at home. The neighborhood was quiet and the outdoor area was beautiful. The host were easy to get in touch with and helped us with information about th area. We had good acess for our boat too. Really enjoyed the ice maker!!

4th of July Vacay!

We had a great time at Lake Gaston! The house was clean and well stocked. Swimming off the dock was great since it’s in a no wake zone. April was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!!! 10/10.

Wonderful Property

We came to Lake Gaston for a week to enjoy the lake. We did some boating and a lot of fishing. This home is very nice. It is comfortable and has nice appliances, furnishings and comfortable beds. Great communication with the owners and just an overall excellent experience. We plan on returning on our next trip to Lake Gaston.

2nd time - enjoyed it as much as the first

We again had the pleasure of staying here at our latest Lake Gaston visit. The house has been well maintained since our visit a couple of years ago and we again had a wonderful time. We enjoy spending time on the lake and bringing our boat. In the evenings watching movies with the family or sitting out on the screend in deck and talking about the adventures of the day and plans for tomorrow. We look forward to our next visit.

Treat yourself to a slice of heaven ~ Lake Gaston NC

This home is so lovely ~ the pictures don't do it justice. It is so lovingly maintained, comfortable and in a wonderful location. We rented a pontoon for the week and spent each day on Lake Gaston. Evenings were outside by the fire pit or on the screened in porch. The beds are very comfortable. Appliances are new which make it a wonderful home away from home. Would whole heartedly recommend to anyone.

Best place ever!

We come to lake Gaston atleast 3 to 4 times a year and this has been the best experience so far. This is the first house we have ever stayed at where the beds were soft and comfortable and the house was totally stocked down the the shampoo. Pictures don't do it justice, owners have really put forth a huge effort to make this place special for there tenants and it shows. Owners were very responsive and communicated with us several times while we were there, even offering ideas on good places to eat. We will definitely be back!

Great family week away

We had a wonderful week away with our sons and their wife/girlfriend…. Lots of meals together, boating and swimming all day and games/cards at night on the screened in porch. Who doesn’t love a screened in porch! We had wonderful weather. We went back out on water 2 of the evenings to get a view of the sunset, which was wonderful. Fire pit area is really nice. The Food Lion is so close, that was great. Neighborhood is quiet. I had great morning walks seeing homes from the street side. Neighbors are very nice. This is our 3rd visit to Lake Gaston, we hope to be back again.

Greatv Family Getaway on the Lake!

The property is beautiful, nestled in Jimmie's Creek but quick access to bigger waters. The kitchen has everything you need to include counter top ice maker. Overall very spacious and well furnished throughout. Our kids loved spending days on water and evenings on screened porch listening to the loons. Ms. April was a great host during stay. Just a heads up... eating out options are limited. There is a Food Lion, Ice Cream shop, gas station, mini golf and coffee shop juat down road.... very convenient for.quick restocks.and dinners at home. Would go back in a heartbeat! Enjoy.

You will not be disappointed!

This house was just perfect. It was on the most peaceful spot I've ever been on at the lake and sitting in the screened porch (which is huge) was like medicine for the soul. The house had everything you need, a lot of really well done decorations and nice touches, and was incredibly clean. The hosts were very responsive for questions, (we had zero issues) and very accommodating. The dock and lakeside area was amazing and my kids enjoyed days of good fishing down there. The space is well laid out and really felt like a wonderful haven for us. We all slept well in comfortable beds, and enjoyed great moments together on the lake, dock, firepit, porch, and relaxing living room. Book with confidence! You will enjoy this place!

Peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful two week stay at this property. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful, mature trees. The views of the water from the screened porch were very nice and this location quickly became our favorite daily lounging spot. We really appreciated the nice, short walkway from the house to the boat dock. My mom, who uses a cane, was able to navigate the few steps (with handrail) to the dock with no problem. We cooked quite a bit and found the kitchen to be functional and equiped with all of the essentials. The grill outside was clean and well-maintained. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock most morning, catching quite a few fish. The kayaks were great; we enjoyed exploring the cove and checking out everyone's fancy boats and docks. You can tell that people take tremendous pride in their vacation homes here. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to return for more adventures.

Beautiful Lakeside Escape

Easy check-in and check-out process and April was quick to reply to all of my questions. The property is beautiful inside and out. It is updated with modern conveniences and comfortable furniture. The big screened-in porch was used for games, snacks, and relaxing. We fished, we swam, and we explored areas around the lake. We roasted marshmallows over the gorgeous fire pit area at night and saw a million stars. The cove was quiet and peaceful…the perfect lakeside escape. Thanks April!
