An open-concept layout offers ample room to both relax and entertain. Create your favorite dishes in the full kitchen and dine together at the wooden table or bar. Each bedroom presents a flat-screen TV and en-suite bathroom for added convenience.

Spend blissful days between the sparkling coastline and the incredible shared amenities, which include lagoon-style pools, walking bridges, a splash pad, gym, valet service, heated pool, whirlpool spa, kiddie pool, on-site restaurant and bar, and a seasonal shop. Nice room and location if going to Morgan Sports Complex

The rooms were nice and the convenience of walking to Morgan Sports Complex for games was great. We liked the bar and restaurant at the pool, but the pool itself was full of little kids and loud. We went to the beach every day, which is a short drive or 5-10 min walk and not ideal for those who love the beach. If you're going for a sports tourney or to hang by the pool, this place is great...otherwise, stay on the beach

Great

Very clean, had everything we needed, loved the balcony access from living room and bedroom, nice view, seeing the airport with that view was pretty cool, kids loved the big bunkbeds, the pool area was great, loved that it had the big cold pool, smaller heated pool, and a hottub.

Overall a good stay .

At first the unit seemed to be clean . As we got a few hours in our stay we noticed the bunk beds were dirty. There were markings on the walls and handprints on the back of the master door bathroom. The balcony patio furniture was bent and dirty (white) and there was hair in the bathtub.. The staff was very friendly and helpful . Parking was east in and out . Location was GREAT.

Great family getaway

The Palms condo was a great size for our family. Our two teenagers liked the bigger bunks and having their own bathroom. The pools and hot tub were excellent, as well as the cafe and restaurant. Excellent location to public beach access with restrooms. Only gave 4 stars due to minor cleaning issues and some amenities could be upgraded such as the coffee maker. Very solid 4 stars, would return.

Overall A Solid Value in a Good Location

The Palms of Destin is a nice resort with a great pool area for the kids and a very short drive (walkable for adults...wouldn't advise trying to walk w/ young children as crossing US 98 can be dicey) to the beach, restaurants, and other local things to do. The on-site restaurant and coffee shop at the Palms were convenient. Overall furnishings in the condo itself were decent, if a bit sparse.

Vacation

It was our first time in Destin. We loved the condo. It had beautiful views and everything we needed. The beach was literally right across the street which I recommend to drive over. Loved having a pool as well and a restaurant in the condo to help with lazy times. We are highly considering coming back in April.

Family vacation

Great stay! Bunk beds were plenty big for kids to share. Beautiful view. We watched planes take off each morning. Short walk to the beach. The longest part is waiting for the light. We didn't take the shuttle- it never worked in our schedule. We enjoyed our stay. We'll be back!

Great resort. Great room.

The resort is great, pools perfect for children. Our door code was not the same code given initially, but I was able to obtain a code within minutes with provided number for vacasa. Our floor smelled like marijuana practically the entire time, but it could be legal there. The room was perfect! It could use a deep cleaning of base boards, corners, outlets, etc. I would definitely stay again though.

Excellent choice for family with children

Pros: Nice pool area specially when traveling with children Apartment was very spacious and has 2 full baths. Safe environment Easy check in and check out Plenty parking Near many local attractions, restaurants and stores. Cons: The sofa bed is horrible, the mattress is basically non- existing and there was no bedding or pillows for it. Only 2 forks in the entire apartment, we are a family of 5 Didn’t like food at the hotel restaurant Had to use free shuttle service to go to the beach due to a major highway you have to go accross. View was not impressive Place could use a deep cleaning and paint refresh Overall, I would stay again.

Worst Experience Ever

Couldn’t get checked in on the day of arrival. Front desk found out that the room was cleaned but Vacasa would not release the keys to me. Finally after waiting 5 hrs at the front desk. My keys were finally given to me by the front desk. No fault of Compass Resorts. They called Vacasa multiple times on my behalf and Vacasa wouldn’t even work with them. Fast forward…. Get to room temp is 76. Come to find out the HVAC was broken. They wanted to move us 20 mins down the road, I refused as my family and friends were also staying at this location. I requested a full refund at which I never received it full. I booked with Compass Resorts on site and they took way better care.

Great location for baseball

We were in Destin for baseball and the location was perfect for that. When parking was full at the fields, we could just walk! Unit was clean, comfortable, etc, but we did have issues with the WIFI not working. I even spent time talking to Vacasa, and, finally, directly to the internet company to resolve the issue, but it was never fixed, despite several attempts. That ended up being very inconvenient for parents trying to work in between games and for kids wanting to watch some shows streaming.

Nice location

The location was pretty nice, walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants if one enjoys walks. We were checking in after hours, so a security guard has provided us with a welcome packet- parking pass and wristbands for the resort. When we reached our door we realized we don't have the code for the door in the welcome packet. The security guard informed us that since we didn't book with the Vacasa directly, we should get the code from VRBO. Long story short they did not provide us with the code, we tried a random number while on the phone with a rep, and it worked (safety concern!!) Honestly the place looked clean at first glance, it was nicely furnished and our balcony had a great view. But the doors to and inside the unit were extremely dirty, especially around where one pushes the door to close it if the door knob is not held. The bathrooms seemed like they could use some deep cleaning. There was constantly a bad smell im the kitchen/living room area coming from the sink disposal. We tried to contain it, but nothing really worked. The pool area was great, kids had a great time. Overall the stay was okay, just wish it was a bit cleaner.

Vacasa is a disaster

This was the first and only time I ever or will stay with them. They wanted to move me 20 mins down the road once they determined the HVAC was unfixable. After all the issues checking in and then nightmare with the room they still charged me $489.20 for a one night stay before I requested a full refund and switched to Compass Resorts that was on site. Vacasa is refusing to give me all my money back even though all of this was out of my control. I would never recommend them to anyone! They’re a third party company that never helps you but just diverts and redirects your issues. You literally run in circles and get no where. Check in was a nightmare. Then finally make it to the room, HVAC was broken, ice maker didn’t work, WiFi didn’t work, and none of the ceiling fans worked.

Loved the palms..pool area was outstanding..room was clean..bar was great..if you plan on doing much in room cooking the pots and pans were few but otherwise good..I would definitely stay again..also beach at Henderson park was beautiful and not crowded
