Great location and pool was great! Oven didn’t work well, and a lot of food was burnt. Showers didn’t drain well, and the sheets would not stay on the beds

Love this rental!

We have stayed in this unit 3 times now. And we love it. The close walk to either the beach or bay makes this the perfect place for outdoor loving family! The AC works great the Master bedroom bed is very comfortable!

Nice amenities, if working from home this rental may not be for you

The grounds at the rental property were very well manicured and clean The condo was very spacious and accommodating for our large family. The wifi did not work well at all. A few family members needed to work from home and it was nearly impossible. Guest services reset the router but that didnt help. A tech was supposed to come check out our issues but no one ever called or showed up after the initial contact with guest services.

Awesome Experience!

This property was wonderful! It was Spring Break, so the hot tub was always full, but other than that the property amenities were wonderful! The condo was very spacious and the extra 1/2 bath was perfect! The ONLY thing I would suggest is replacing the mattress in the Master Bedroom! It was very very saggy and I brought in the trundle mattress to sleep on. All the other beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were wonderful! Great space. Great trip! Will definitely come here again!

Spacious and Beautiful!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We had plenty of space to sit back, relax and enjoy each other’s company. Every room has its own restroom which was nice because we were all able to have our spaces. We would all vacation here again. The only things we would have to say that we would love to see improve would be the pull out twin in the bunk room, it was completely caving in while my niece slept on it every night and the condo was not provided enough towels for all 13 people to shower everyday. I think we only had a total of 10 so we had to use our beach towels to make up the slack! Over all this place was spectacular and we had the best family vacation here.

We had a few small issues. Most were fixed. Could not use the jacuzzi tub in the Master suite as it had no hot water, dryer needs replaces as it would take 3-4 cycles to dry clothes, and toilets in 2 bathrooms had issues. Overall the place was bueatiful and the location was great.

Lovely Condo for Girls Trip, But Needs Some Updates

We rented this condo for our annual girls trip to Gulf Shores. The location is superb--walking distance to the private beach and just a few minutes from shops/stores. The views of the condo were great--3/4 rooms had views of the ocean and/or lagoon. The patios were lovely with adequate patio furniture for everyone to sit outside at once. The condo had adequate room for us 5 to sleep comfortably, and the beds were very comfortable. Cleanliness was mostly okay, with some attention to detail needing to be addressed. There were some updates that needed to be done (furniture replaced, locks replaced, addition of kitchen amenities, carpet cleaning/replacement); however, these did not keep us from enjoying our time. Vacasa did a wonderful job with communication of check-in/check-out, They were also responsive when we reached out with an issue, and answered quickly with a resolution.

Our experience

At check in we had chips on the floor, trash in trash cans, mold in shower, long black hair on shower wall, no stopper for tub, dirty dishes, no locks on some of the doors, bi-fold door coming off track, stinky blankets, old beat up furniture. Overall very disappointed in the unit considering the caliber of the complex. We have stayed in other units there and they were very nice. I had heard Vacasa had issues with cleaning but I had already booked the condo. For the price I paid I was very unhappy with the overall unit. I won’t rent a property from Vacasa ever again.

Excellent location, amenities like the pool, jacuzzi, indoor pool, and lagoon dock are all a plus. Negatives are cheap linens and towels. Beds were comfortable though. Curtains are old and so is the furniture most are heavily worn some are falling apart. Still usable but more like I'd expect at a motel 6 not a 1.2 million dollar condo. Ice maker is also not working and the one in the fridge is hard to get ice out of. We had a great time though, easy beach access and it is the last high-rise on the west side of the peninsula so the views are unimpeded, although I think we will try 701 next time to get a little more height over the houses on the beach. Sunsets are amazing from either patio.

Great location, easy access to beach, great pool, not crowded, spacious, easy to find. The unit needs new door locks. The deadbolt requires pliers to be able to open and close it. This is a fire hazard, but we had to lock the deadbolt because we had toddlers and they could open the door without the deadbolt. The unit needs keypad entry. It is too difficult to take the key from the lockbox as it requires 2 hands. The outside entrance is dark. The lights did not work and we had to use our phones as a flashlight to see to open the lockbox and to see to open the door. This is a safety hazard as well.

Good but needs some TLC

The good: Location is wonderful in a less busy part of Gulf Shores. The layout is amazing with plenty of room for our large family (3 adults, 6 kids ). Beautiful views from three of the four bedrooms (2 lagoon views, one ocean view). The not so good: The unit was relatively clean although there was a hat under one of the beds left there by previous renters. Light bulbs need to be replaced in a few areas of the home including the laundry room and master bedroom closet. The unit could benefit from having some items such as broom and dustpan, and hot pads for the oven. The bad: The front door. First and most importantly, the lock falls out of the door…the whole lock. We asked guest services to fix this and they said they would but never showed up. Fortunately, the door was still secure with the lock out. The door is also pretty weathered. It was the roughest looking door in the building. There is a lock box instead of a key pad entry which wouldn’t be much of a problem if the lock was more secure in the door. Despite the negatives, I’d stay there again because the benefits outweighed the cons.

Decent property, bad management

Let me start off by saying that the property itself was okay enough. The majority of the outlets wouldn’t work, the majority of the locks didn’t lock, and there was some dirty silverware in the designated silverware drawer. Outside of that, the property was nice. The real problem is the so-called management company, Vacasa. I booked this property in October of 2022, pretty well in advance for a vacation. I booked it for my husband and our 3 kids and my mom, sister, and niece. We split up the travel into two days, stopping halfway, so we didn’t have kids in car seats for 8.5/9 hours. On the day of check in, an hour before we’re supposed to check in, literally an hour away, I get an email and a phone call saying that the previous tenants decided they weren’t going to leave and upper management approved their extended stay. So two families, an hour upon arrival, were told they wouldn’t be allowed to go to the property they paid for months in advance. They put us up in another condo, that while it was nice, it wasn’t what we wanted nor what we paid for. I spent 3 weeks selecting the condo I paid 5k+ for and I went on vacation, lost my condo for a couple of days, was made to repack and keep our stuff in our vehicles for 6 hours until we could check in and unload yet again. They told us for a fee we could pay to stay and have a late check out in the condo we didn’t want. But at this point, we weren’t going to give them another dime. We will never use Vacasa again.

Ideal vacation spot!

Clean and very roomy! Perfect location to the beach and the kitchen was stocked well. Just grab a few groceries and a swim suit and your ready for fun. The beds were all comfortable would recommend this as a great place to stay for a large family!

Beautiful condo, perfect location

When we arrived to Mustique 401 we fell in love! It was huge!! Wonderfully spacious, the teal color is very beachy, and fit all 10 of us (7 adults, 3 kids) perfectly! The location of the condo is perfect. The private beach access was also great. You don’t have to walk up and down the beach fighting the crowds to find a place to spend the day! And the pool is well taken care of. Some things in the condo need to fixed. The slats on the trundle bed were broken, the sheets in one of the bedroom were ripped. Bread crumbs from a previous stay were still there. Some lightbulbs were dead under the counters in the kitchen. Overall, the condo was lovely! And we had a wonderful vacation!

Sister's Vacation 2022

Our stay was wonderful! I really liked Vacasa sending me codes for our condo and beach access. And we got a surprise of an extra bathroom! I would use Vacasa again!
