Hale Hui Kai 213 Oceanfront!! Large Wrap Around Lanai

Beach and Ocean front views from living area and lanais wrap around the condo. Even the kitchen has an ocean view! This private oceanfront condo is on the second floor of the building ...about 30 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

The master bedroom has one King bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to one king bed (upon request and approval). The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. Highly efficient split AC provided in both bedrooms (no AC in the main living area).

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

Very comfortable master bed and large bedroom. Cross breeze and fans handle the temp. I used some AC at night which is appreciated. The owner provided service for a situation that not all owners would address. Highly recommend.

Great location but has issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. However, it did have critters. Mostly, mice and roaches. The unit, itself, was clean; however it had these issues. In addition, there weren’t any screens on the windows and with the slats open, as you need them to be for air flow since there is only AC in the bedrooms, any critter can get in. We ended up staying somewhere else as this issue made everyone uncomfortable!

Anniversary Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived Sept. 24 for a week. We had a good time exploring around the island and seeing the sights. There was a warm spell on the island. The kitchen and living room area were not air conditioned and so became quite warm in the late afternoon. The two bedrooms were air conditioned which allowed for relief from the heat. The Kitchen and living room would cool down in the morning when we had the doors to the lanai open and the door in the kitchen open allowing a cross breeze. The lanai was very nice to sit and view the ocean. We had a good time playing cards out on the lanai.

Family Vacation in Maui

This place is amazing! We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this was by far the best stocked we’ve been in. Plenty of cooking utensils, towels, etc. Cannot beat this location! Literally walked right out to the beach, the condo looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Super family friendly location. Enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrellas provided as well. Our last day at the beach we got to swim along with a sea turtle making his way out to deeper waters! There are lava rocks/coral just in front of condo which make for great snorkeling, or go down a few more steps to just sand! Very clean condo, check in and check out was super easy. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

The property was absolutely perfect. We had a west facing second floor two bedroom condo that overlooked the ocean and the west side of Maui. We saw spectacular sunsets every night. The property was very well maintained. We loved it.

Long time Hale Hooers (Hui Kai)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying here, and have regularly over 25+ years. This particular unit is very nice. The best views for sunsets from the lanai. The only down side is the sofa sleeper, while comfortable, is noisy ever time you move, roll over or exit. There were only 4 wash clothes and only 1 set of king sheets for the master bed. For the price, it should be better stocked. Only 4 beach towels, and there were 6 of us. But, a nice unit over all, and beautiful furnishings.
