Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. If you want secluded nature, this three bedroom lake house has year around lake views just minutes to Sunset Marina. Privacy and the view can be enjoyed from three outdoor living spaces. Bring the family or some friends to our home and enjoy the new hot tub and outdoor porch fireplace. This home is a great stay anytime of year. Home that sleeps 8 with an indoor gas fireplace in the living room and a wood outdoor fireplace on the covered patio area with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The King room is on the main floor with a full bathroom with laundry.
All new bedding, mattresses, and linens are ready for your family to enjoy.
Bring your boat and the marina is just minutes down the road at Sunset Marina.
Sunset Marina has a restaurant and shop with boat rentals and nightly boat slips available for our guest.
Come enjoy the mountain like views overlooking the lake in our private serene getaway….. you will feel miles away from everything while staying and being “Merry N’ Monroe”

Be aware that the road leading into the property is a steep gravel road. We recommend dropping your boat at Sunset Marina to keep from having to tow your boat back and forth and if so will need a four wheeled drive vehicle.

*As of 2023 we have added newly expanded gravel trailer parking in addition to the pull through semi circular driveway already available

The house was awesome! It was clean, cozy, decorated so cute. The view was gorgeous. We loved all the areas to hang out inside and out. Kids loved the hot tub and all the games.

Great Lake House!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was great: close to the marina and with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and when we discovered something we needed, Seth and Lauren quickly got it to us. We’d stay here again!

Close to Dale hollow lake, sunset marina

House was okay. Nice view of the lake and had the amenities listed. It wasn’t quite as clean as I would have preferred. There were empty cans under the bunk beds, kids clothes in the drawers, outside trash cans overflowing, and crumbs on the table. There is also little upkeep that needs done (several decking boards need screwed down, holes in the drywall patched and not painted, shingles coming off of the back roof). All in all we had a good time and it for our needs well, you can just tell there is some upkeep on the property that needs done.

We had a great time. The place is very nice and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the multi level deck and the secluded location for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful mountain side home away from the busy world.

Very clean home right on the Don Hollow Lake. The sunrise view is amazing, the view of the lake is distant but beautiful, and the home is very clean and well maintained. If you want something off the beaten path to enjoy some serenity, this is it! Fantastic stay.

Absolutely Stunnning Views and Accommodations!

I'll start off with, this property is absolutely gorgeous. The house was equally gorgeous. The owners were very kind and quick at getting back with me.This trip was planned as a family getaway and this was the prefect spot! You can see the lake from any of the balconies and/or back windows. It is a short drive to the marina. We also had lots of fun at the local spots in town. Great food and great locals in this area. :)

Amazing Secluded Get Away

The perfect place to get away from the hectic pace of life and enjoy nature. Very near to the lake and fishing or other water sports also near plenty of hiking trails. The property and property owners area fantastic!

Amazing Inside and Out!

The house was crisp and clean in every corner. Fans throughout the house and the deck. A nice touch for the warm sunny mornings. Owners were super communicative when we had a question - very lovely. Well stocked everything from toilet paper to paper towels. Loved our entire stay!

Relaxing Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful stay here to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family. The house was very clean, the view is beautiful and it's very quiet. Previous reviews about the road to get here are correct, so be prepared for the winding gravel road, but we had no issues getting up. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay!

Beautiful home and view, steep hill

The house is well equipped, clean and beautiful with a convenient location close to Sunset Marina, and the scenery and view is spectacular! Regarding the location, we were prepared to travel steep gravel roads as explained in the description however I would not feel comfortable making the trip again without 4WD. Upon arrival, our 2023 minivan got stuck going up a hill which forced us to unload cargo and passengers, then reverse down the hill in order to get momentum needed to successfully make it to the top. We're from a rural area so unpaved, steep roads are common for us, but the terrain combined with ruts/washed out areas on the road made us hold our breath every each time we had to leave and return to the house. One other thing to note about the floorplan, the 1st floor master suite with a king bed uses a common bathroom across the hall so the bunk room upstairs also uses this, while the other upstairs bedroom has its own stairway, bathroom and balcony which is awesome, but only a queen bed - a king bed in that room would enhance that space.

Beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. The home and furnishings are very nice, and there's great places to sit and enjoy the view both inside and out. The ceiling fans and roll up outdoor vertical awnings helped keep us cooler. The upstairs deck and screened in porch were nice too. Sunset marina nearby.

Family Time

This place is amazing and hopefully we can come back someday. We booked this for extended weekend away with our adult children to just unwind and have great quality time together and boy did we ever. The house was perfect size and the decor and layout was amazing. Had everything that you need to make the perfect getaway. Seth & Lauren were so easy to work and very responsive. Thank you for opening your little piece of heaven to our family.

Great Secluded Getaway

The house is amazing! We went with our adult kids and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a huge hit with our crew. The kitchen and outdoor cooking spaces are fabulous. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful views and home!

We stayed at this beautiful home and have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay! I was a bit worried about getting up the very steep drive after reading other reviews. However, our van loaded down with our houseboat trip items and coolers made it up no problem! The home is equipped with everything you need to spend a great time with family and friends! Luv, luv the outdoor fireplace and sitting area!

Beautiful home, great view, would recommend a 4 wheel drive to go back and fourth to property.

Overall loved the home and location, needs new grill, and would not recommend trying to pull a boat to the property….very steep gravel roads.
