Minutes from the freeway, shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, ski resorts, conventional center, public transportation. If you are looking for a relaxing get away, working remotely, taking advantage of Utah's fabulous ski resorts or visiting family, this is the right place for you!

Come through the gate and down the stairs. Walk through the gardens to the back porch. Your entrance door is on the right of the patio with a keypad lock. Input the code you will receive the day of check in. The deadbolt will slide open and you can open the door.

With contactless entry you are free to check in anytime convenient for you after 4 pm.

This is a bright daylight basement apartment with lovely gardens, patio table and chairs, views of the city and walking/biking paths and playground along the Jordan River in walking distance. This two bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom and private laundry is convenient to skiing, restaurants, shopping, the Aquarium, water park, and all the fun of the Salt Lake Valley.

Please be courteous, keeping noise levels down. Please park to the far right on the driveway to allow our car to park in the middle of the driveway and not block the left garage door.

The TV is an Apple TV. If you are not familiar with how to operate an Apple TV, You Tube has a good tutorial. Ask us for the link.

Utah snow is the best in the world. There is a snow shovel and can of ice melt for you to use to keep the stairs and driveway safe.

Great place

The apartment is clean & comfortable. I couldn’t find the house manual so could only get Prime on the TV. The manager was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again

Thorough review

This two bedroom first floor unit is big and as beautiful as the pictures. Entrance is downstairs at the back of the house, thru a garden, with self entry keypad lock. You’ll see gorgeous view of the mountains and lights of the city at night. Everything is included in the unit with all kitchen needs, except wine bottle opener, and toilet paper if you stay longer than a week. Communication with Nancy was super easy. She recommended places for us to visit over the Xmas holidays and even included welcome cookies. The location is urban residential with big houses that have lots of holiday spirit. We spent just a month here for Xmas and skiing while working remotely (WiFi speed is great). Lots of shops and restaurants by driving 10-15 min, nothing by walking distance. SLC is only 20-25 min away. The closest ski resort is Snowbird / Alta only 35 min away. There are a few things that need to be noted. 1) There are three units in this two story single family house: upstairs owner, downstairs (high ceiling) left side (owner’s family), and downstairs right side (this unit). Because this is one house, the thermostat control is upstairs so you have to message Nancy to change temperature. It took us over a week to get the temperature fixed because after lunch for 4-5hrs is very cold due to the heater turned off. The temperature difference between where the thermostat is upstairs and this unit’s (downstairs) living room (with big windows, ground laminated floor without much insulation) is huge (10-20 deg F or 5-10 deg C). My dad caught a cold sitting in the living room too long the first few days since we didn’t know. Nancy provided a small heater and responded fast every time we messaged her to turn the temp higher but we felt bad bothering her too much. By the end of 5 weeks, the inside temperature in the morning was comfortable, noon to afternoon was very cold, and at night was hot. You have no control to change the temperature setting unless you message Nancy. 2) Anyone taking the shower will most likely get a quick burn if someone else (other units too) is using the water or flushed the toilet. This again is due to the construction of the house. 3) Since it’s one house, you’ll hear sounds from the other two units via the wall or vents. It was only occasionally and didn’t bother us. Overall, the price, size, amenities and comfort of the beds are great. If the temperature control can be fixed, then this place would definitely be 5 stars.

Ski vacation

We rented for a ski vacation, driving up Little Cottonwood Canyon, each morning. The location was a bit farther south west than I preferred, but the traffic and roads made the travel easy. Access to the unit is a bit of a hike down stairs and a garden path, but at night a motion sensor light helps to navigate . Very clean, tidy unit.

Great stay

Me and my family had a very accommodating stay here! The amenities were splendid, and the accessibility to everything (including the ski resorts) were impeccable! Would definitely come back, thank you Nancy!
