The upstairs boasts four large bedrooms and a full bathroom. You will love the roomy kitchen and dining area for cooking, dining, or playing cards. You can easily walk to the golf course, quaint downtown shops and bars, or enjoy famous bbq nearly from your backyard! Enjoy coffee and cocktails on the porch watching deer and elk. You are sure to enjoy your stay at the “Chubby Chipmunk!”

This will be our 4th time (I think) to stay here. We just love it. It’s the perfect house, always clean, always has everything we need. Comfortable beds. Great location. Just an overall wonderful place to spend time with our family. One of the nicest hosts I’ve ever chatted with.

4th of July weekend

This was a beautiful cabin, well appointed and very clean. Stacy was a great host and readily available for questions. Our family of 8 had plenty of room and enjoyed this mountain retreat!

The house was beautiful and very cozy. We loved being able to walk to town with our grandchildren. We had more then enough room to spread out and feel comfortable. The check in / check out process was very easy. Thank you, we will be back

Beautiful home. Well kept. Clean. All the amenities you need and more. Beds and linens are comfortable. Full service kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. And the location is perfect, within walking distance from shops, eateries, and small market. The host was nice and responsive to communication. If we return to Cloudcroft, we will definitely check availability for this property.

Perfect house

We come every April for our annual family turkey hunt. This is our 3rd time staying here and each time is just perfect. House is cozy, clean and in a great location. Stacy is always so responsive to any questions we have. Will hopefully continue to make this a family meetup every year!

What a beautiful home. We were a short walk from everything! What was supposed to be a weekend of adventure turned into a weekend of rest. My dad and I both came down with a rough cold and spent the majority of our stay at the house while the rest of the family went hiking and exploring the town. It was a quiet home in a nice quiet neighborhood. Dad and I spent our day sitting in the front porch drinking coffee watching deer come down the hill. In the afternoon we played cards at the large dining table or sitting in the backyard with the dogs. Big pros were how close to town the house is. We walked to the family dollar to get cough syrup and cough drops while our family went to wine tasting in town. Our kids hiked the trails nearby and explored the days away. In the evening we grilled burgers and made grilled steak tacos on the back deck. Anither big pro was the master being on the main floor. Grama and grampa were able to access their bedroom without having to climb stairs. Bathtub in master was easy enough for them to navigate too. Cons were the grill was a bit hard to access in the back deck. It’s too big a grill for such a small deck but we made it work. Another con was the outdoor seating. There wasn’t enough seating outside for our whole group. It’s a large house that can easily accommodate 10 people but there is hardly seating for 5 or 6 outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our large group was able to spread out comfortably in our down time in the house.

Wonderful vacation

We were really impressed with the home! It is well stocked, immaculately clean, close to town, and great scenery. My family and I had a wonderful week stay and will be back on our next trip up the mountain!

Nice house, very clean, great town location

this house is right behind the Main Street, so easy walk to any downtown spots. Quiet, full of wildlife (deer/elk) and has a fenced back yard for your furry friends. It has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need.

Wonderful Getaway in Cloudcroft.

Excellent location in Cloudcroft - near downtown area. Five wonderful bedrooms that can easily accommodate large group gatherings. Host was very accommodating and had great communication. Highly recommend this mountain retreat.

Charming house in an ideal location, thoughtfully provided for every want and need - our family had a wonderful experience! We could walk to any shop or restaurant and were very close to hiking trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and well stocked

This house was perfectly located as we could walk to everything we need. The house was well stocked with everything you need around the house (with the exception of shampoo/soap in the bathroom), so it was pretty awesome all-around. Would highly recommend this place for anyone!
