Updated Cottage -- Pet & Family Friendly

Porch living at its best! Relax on over 700 square feet of screened porch, stroll to the Guzzle, take a dip in the St. Lawrence River. This private cottage has everything you need: a fully stocked kitchen, newer stainless appliances (fridge, range, washer/dryer), totally remodeled bathroom with luxurious walk-in shower. Baseboard heating will keep you cozy on chilly nights, while ceiling & portable fans plus 2 window AC units cool the summer heat. Two bedrooms--one with queen bed, one with a double--open off the spacious living room. Kick back on the reclining love seat to watch flat screen TV (cable & wifi included). Additional sleeping space on the spacious porch, with newer queen sofa sleeper, bunk bed for 2, and folding cot for additional sleeping options. Enjoy the breeze on the side porch with its comfortable seating, additional TV, and large table for dining or games. Whether you're grilling on the back deck or enjoying a glass of wine on the porch, you'll get the full TI Park experience! Parking for up to 2 cars.

We love it here. My family had a cottage on the island. So bringing my kids up to the River and sharing my summer experiences with them is awesome. They love swimming, fishing, gocart driving, and boating. We have relatives in the area to visit and catchup with. Not one rainy day this visit even though we need it. Thanks for everything! See you next year!

Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our stay at this cottage and all thoughtful touches the hosts added to make it comfortable and welcoming! The cottage location is very peaceful, the wrap-around porch provides plenty of extra space, and during our week the AC units were truly a blessing on hot nights. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook meals and we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again for future vacations to Thousand Island Park!

Great location, but a few issues

Loved staying in T.I. Park. Love the idea of the porch, but it was too cold to enjoy. A few issues with the rental: 1) Host changed booking from 7 nights to 4 nights just three weeks before travel; 2) Porch roof leaked, soaking our open suitcase (near washer); 3) Photo shows two SETS of bunk beds (4 beds), but there was only one set; 4) Since there weren't enough beds, my 10yo child slept on couch, and woke up with bed bug or flea bites all over her arms, face, torso. Still itching a week later from that one night. 5) Amenities list hot tub, though there is not one 6) Parking is in front of house, but there's no access to the front door and no walkway to the back. Prepare for wet muddy shoes if it's raining. The bathroom decor is very cute and we appreciated the water bottles in the fridge. We enjoyed playing games together and visiting nearby attractions. The listing and house do need some updates though.

Perfect Summer Stay

What a spot! Incredible enclosed porch, very quiet/peaceful but a quick walk away to The Guzzle, playground, docks etc…. Very clean, updated, and well stocked. Looking forward to a return visit.

This cottage covered it all. Very comfortable, very clean, plenty of fans in the house, good kitchen. Loved the location. It is not on the main Street . The screen porch, where we spent a lot of time, was perfect. If needed, numbers available to communicate.

We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay. Everything exceeded our expectations. We had three generations staying together and we were all very comfortable with lots of beds to choose from. The house is close to everything, clean, well stocked and the location in the trees is beautiful. Can't say enough about the house and we will most definitely be back!

Thousand island park

We love Thousand Island Park. Been visiting for over 30 years. This house was great! Brand new kitchen and appliances with all up to date house amenities. Susan was extremely responsive. The week was terrific.

Amazing

This cottage was perfect for us. It was very roomy and we loved the porch. My kids love being in TIP and this cottage made it possible. The owners were very accommodating and always quick with their communication back. It was a great overall experience! We highly recommend :)

Beautiful Cottage

This cottage is lovely! It is set back a tiny bit from the majority of the houses so that you feel like you are surrounded by nature yet you are in walking distance to all of TIP. The pictures make it appear a bit run down but inside the cottage has been renovated and has a massive screened in porch, great kitchen and bathroom. It was very clean and the owners are wonderful to work with. We all enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this cottage if you are visiting Thousand Island Park.

Great location and wonderful host!

We recently stayed at Sliver of the River for a few days while family was in town. Susan and Coleen have thought of everything! There were tons of sleeping options for the kids, lots of towels for swimming, and the grill was in amazing condition. We loved being able to walk or bike into town but feel somewhat removed from the crowds and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!

We looked at many TI Park properties before falling in love with our cottage--or, as folks say around here, "camp." Located off the main road yet close to all the amenities, you get the best of both worlds--the socializing *and* the privacy. Of course, what sold us most of all was the porch, which nearly doubles the overall living space. You'll have plenty of space for relaxing, eating, and sleeping, in any weather.
