Splash 2002E BEAUTIFUL UNIT WITH GREAT VIEWS!

Splash 2002E is a two bedroom, two bath, beach residence that sleeps up to 8.

We like to bring our binoculars along when we come so that we can enjoy our morning coffee while watching the dolphins playing in the gulf. Sometimes it seems like they are close enough to touch. Since we spend time here ourselves, we make sure that this condo is decorated for maximum comfort. We want to create a feel of home at the beach for us as well as for our guests. We hope you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some of the unique features of this wonderful beach environment:

• Over 1000 Square Feet of Living Space on the 20th floor

Splash is a condominium resort built in 2005 with a variety of very nice features:

Splash offers you everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation experience! Note: Each Splash guest is required to register at the front desk and pay a $35.00 registration fee per car for use of the Splash amenities. You will be able to pick up your wristbands and parking passes when you register.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. During Spring Break , the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person 25 years of age for every two guests under 25.

Fun family place

Very family friendly but does have places to get adult beverages if you want. Defiently would stay at again. Very nice room suite with plenty of room.

The condo is spacious! The beds were SO comfy, even the bunk beds. The patio furniture was great. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Good stay

Property was very nice. Just wish it included 2 beach chairs. Also, there was mold on the shower closest to the front door. We really enjoyed this condo!

Nice property for kids

Great place to stay if you have younger children but if you don’t and are looking for quiet and peaceful this isn’t the place. Overall great location and condo was as advertised so I would recommend(to anyone with kids).

Beautiful views!

Great condo for our family! Views from the master bedroom and great room were amazing. Plenty of space to spread out. Only two elevators in the building but wait time was not bad at all. I heard it got crazy at check in time some days. Beach was really nice, pools and lazy river were also great. We also loved that Alvin’s Island was right across the street connected to the parking garage.

Quick Get Away

The condo was perfect for our quick trip. The view was great. Beds were comfortable. The sliding glass door in the living room had no lock or latch to keep it closed. The showers have some mildew on the shower head and along the floor, but overall it was a great spot for our weekend get away.

Overall, the unit was as expected. The a/c unit never cycled, but it was HOT while we were there. I did find a previous occupants contacts lenses on the bathroom floor, so it could have been cleaned a little better. My major complaint is pigeons we were on the balcony nesting and bird poop was everywhere outside. The pigeons were not afraid of anything or anyone. There was 2 chairs we could sit in that didnt have poop on them, but there was a smell and frequent pigeons flying at all times of the day and night. I didnt contact anyone about the pigeons, as I'm not sure what could be done to prevent it. It just would have been nice to know there were pigeons sharing the balcony.This was our 3rd time at SPLASH and we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful condo

The condo was clean, roomy, gorgeous view. My only complaints are with the resort specifically. There was no ramp to get down to the beach which is unfortunate given that this is a resort designed for families with small children and we all use wagons to go out the beach. There’s also only one hot tub to serve two buildings with 21 floors of people each and it has a max occupancy of 7 people. It was always full of splashing children so no real place for the adults to relax. Overall I still give the place 5 stars because of the unit itself. Well worth for the price. Just wish Splash would make some improvements

Beach Vacation

The hotel itself is fantastic, location is great. I had a terrible experience with the manager. Our dryer was broken and after I washed all of the towels on the unit we discovered this so we had no clean towels due to them all being wet for our second day of the trip. The maintenance man did come and check it the third day we was there, he stated he would be back the next day to fix it and we were supplied new towels. The next day, he never showed back up and I had to call the office myself several times only to find out he was not coming back out and the dryer is not going to be fixed until after we checked out. We have 5 kids and had planned to be able to do laundry. This was very upsetting. The solution I was given was to use the local laundry mat. Then when the manager finally called she was very rude. I also found dog poop under the couch, my 11th month almost had it in her mouth. This was never addressed and I was told this is a dog free unit so there was no way that was dog poop. See the photo for reference.

Fun, could use a serious deep clean

Our kids had a blast, however the room and property are poorly kept. From chewing tobacco someone spit on the wall of our balcony, to tons of sand stuck in the rugs, we had to clean once we got there. The beach chair and umbrella company puts out all of there chairs before any of the guest, making it impossible to get a spot on the beach, as they would not let us set up in front of any of the rentable chairs. It’s fun for kids, a pain for adults.

Not clean… but great location.

First, checkin at this resort was simple and everything went great. Then, we had some trouble getting into the condo with the early check in code, but the property manager was actually at the resort and helped us immediately! She was so nice. The location of this resort was awesome. We enjoyed being so close to Pier Park and many good restaurants. However, this condo needs a REALLY GOOD CLEANING. There was a musty smell upon our arrival, the shower curtain had mildew on it, there was mildew inside the kitchen cabinets, and the couch had stains on it. Also, the sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable, could use a new mattress at least. The pictures must be old as the doors aren’t even white anymore. The balcony was covered in bird poop, which I know is partially unavoidable, but we had to clean out there too. Overall, we were just disappointed with the cleanliness of this condo.

Horrible

Do not stay here! We spent 4 days with no air then were told it was our fault because we didn’t report it as soon as we got there (we didn’t realize until after we made a beach trip that it wasn’t working) then they tried to move us into the room next door which had roaches!! Everyone we talked to about the situation got angry and hung up on us then proceeded to not answer our phone calls. Super unprofessional! We ended up having to book with another property owner at the same location which went way better. We were promised a full refund then they tried to take that back and only gave us $100 back from our $1100 room plus we had to pay out of pocket for our new room. We will NEVER book through Best Beach Getaways again!
