Air conditioning was great. Room was very clean and easy check in process. We only stayed 2 nights here but it would have worked perfectly for extended stays as well!

The room and amenities were great. The only issue we had was that our vehicle was too tall for the parking garage. This is because our rental had an extra rack on top so easily avoidable in the future. We loved our stay here.

Nice location, but VERY DIRTY

I liked how close the condo was to the beach and the wonderful walking trails along the beach. The resort itself is older, but reasonably kept up. The staff was fine. The first day we came back to the condo around 9 pm to find the door wide open with the door stop engaged. This was alarming as we had not been home all afternoon. No one was inside and nothing seemed to be missing. We called the office and they said they had not entered. We called the condo manager Linda and left a message which she returned the next day. The next day they ran a history search on the electronic key pad to see who had entered. It only showed entry the times we had entered. The only thing we could figure out is, although we believe we closed the door tightly, it did not latch and some wind came and opened the door. Anyway, it did not happen again, but it was a nerve racking beginning. Aside from that, the condo itself could use some updating, like new sheets (some were stained and torn) and mostly a VERY GOOD DEEP CLEANING. You could tell the floor had been swept and counters wiped down, but much of the condo was quite filthy like: dust caked on wicker table base, white fan in bathroom brown on controls and blades, alarm clock, top of AC control etc has a THICK layer of greasy dust, nightstands and drawers dusty, BIG dust bunnies on the walls etc. I know I could have called housecleaning, but I was in the condo most mornings while my husband was in conference and did not want the intrusion, extra dust kicked up, and the many hours it would have taken to get it clean. I did not let it ruin my wonderful time on Maui, but I would never rent this condo- or anything cleaned and maintained by this company- again.

We would have been happy to send the cleaner back in. Unfortunately, we were not given that opportunity until after you stay as this is the first time we are hearing about it. We just had a guest leave before you and there was not a complaint at all. It does say on the Pre-Arrival to let us know within 24 hours of your arrival, if there's anything we can address. Biggest downer for us...the large pool right outside our room was brrrrrr cold!

It wasn't as spotless as last year, lots of sand on the floors & trash behind a nightstand-easy to have missed, but still swell kept older furnishings. Towels and linens could use a refresh. The staff at this location is top notch. Efficient, friendly and always with the Aloha spirit of beautiful Maui. (Chanel!) I would recommend staying here if you like a quiet well kept property. I arrived after 10pm, the night manager arrived quickly to get me to the unit and helped me carry my things in. I stayed in a studio towards the back of the property, it was quiet, had the amenities I wanted, and was a short walk to the beach, shops, pool, fitness center, and shops. I was always able to find space in the cabana area and the attendants were friendly and available. The beach area is beautiful, sun sets right there, many people went snorkeling, a seal went swimming by one afternoon checking out the beach goers. There are a number of shops within walking distance and Front Street is a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again. The only weird part, no roosters, I did not hear or see one.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We frequently go to Maui, and were happy to find this corner unit so close to the beach and Ka'anapali. We hoped there would be at least a peek-a-boo view of the ocean, which there wasn't. The view from the lanai is of a well-hidden parking structure - the only time it was bothersome is when we ate outside and the screeching of tires in the garage was pretty constant. It is an older unit with some wear and tear showing, but it was just fine for a long weekend. I am a walker and appreciated being able to do my usual trek to Ka'anapali or to Kahana. For people with physical limitations, be aware that there are a LOT of stairs to manage between the garage and the unit, and the unit to the golf course/beach.

I am impressed with how clean this is!! Very welcoming. Had everything we needed. The cabana was amazing and provided everything right there so we didn’t have to walk back to our room all day. Helpful desk staff. We got a great deal from the onsite concierge, so enjoyed a beautiful sunset dinner cruise. Couldn’t be happier!

Lovely lanai and location

We stayed at Maui Eldorado for the first time this year. This is my 3rd time in Ka’anapali. Reading the reviews prepared me for being right next to the parking garage. Luckily, it wasn’t noisy for us. The lanai was secluded and relaxing. It was raining and windy when we were there in January so sitting on the lanai was perfect. We were very happy with the condo for the price. We ended up here because it was in the location that we wanted and it was available. The resort doesn’t have a cafe or gift shop but the front office was very friendly and helpful. The cabana was very nice. We walked there most of the time. We love to walk, so if you don’t want to walk to the beach or get a golf cart ride, this location is not for you. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. I really have no complaints and may stay here again. We walked to Whaler’s Village for happy hour and used the tram to get back. We walked to Duke’s for breakfast (about a mile) on the boardwalk. We booked a hot stone massage at Royal Lahaina that was amazing. I would recommend it.

Good accomodation in a great location

We were quite pleased with the accommodation at the Maui Eldorado with a few minor exceptions. On the plus side, the unit was clean and ready for our arrival, and the security staff were able to let us into the apartment when we arrived late in the evening. Registering the next day was easy and the "welcome briefing" by Kia, the concierge, was great. We've been to Maui several times previously but still learned about activities that we'd not done before and things to avoid too. Also on the plus side, the overall grounds were great and we made use of the cabana frequently, getting rides back to the unit when we were finished for the day. We took advantage of the "Mai Tai Thursdays" in the reception area both Thursdays that we were there. Kai was most helpful in booking activities for us, calling us when an opening came up for a sailing trip to Lanai. The kitchen area, while small, had all the appliances, pots, pans, etc., we needed to prepare and cook meals when we chose to eat in rather than out. We took advantage of the Kaanapali Trolley that runs throughout the Kaanapali Beach area to get to Whalers Village and hotels on the strip. We also went to the local "Fairway Shops" for supplies and the occasional meal. On the downside and as others have mentioned, the unit is quite close to the parkade so there was noise both late in the evening and early in the morning from honking cars and beeping carts. (Why do people need to press the lock button more than once when locking their cars?) The activities above the parkade (shuffleboard, pool, bocce ball), were sometimes noisy - being there on St. Patrick's Day didn't help - but were generally quiet given the quiet-time restrictions. We also found the king bed's mattress to be a little hard so my wife woke with backaches most mornings. Perhaps a replacement may be in order at some point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Maui Eldorado and would consider that location for a future trip.

Great cozy good location

This was truly a way better place to stay than the resort and not just for the price difference, great location so close to Lahaina the pools were great the staff was great it was very clean, we booked all our activities through the front desk and they have us a ton of deals definitely will be coming back
