A sunny townhome in Bayou Village, this two-story vacation rental is located in the larger Sandestin® Resort community. This bayside getaway is a convenient tram ride from local attractions and emerald waters of the Gulf (complimentary tram passes included). Or, you can use the provided golf cart for easy transportation around town! Start your mornings with coffee in the lovely sunroom, which offers a table and a door to a shared yard space.

Find the two bedrooms upstairs, each fitted with an en-suite bathroom and a TV. One of the rooms is appointed with a private balcony. The open-concept living area presents a TV, sofabed, and seating for the group. The pristine kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and ample counter space to prepare delicious meals. When staying at Bayou Village, enjoy access to the wonderful amenities and beach access points of the Sandestin® Resort.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Cute spot close to everything!

We loved the access to the golf cart. This made it so easy to grab a dip in the pool or take the tunnel to the beach! The back patio area was perfect for relaxing out of the direct sunlight and observing the local birds/reptiles. I enjoyed the owners art work around the unit and appreciated their welcome letter on the wall.

Bayou Village

Excellent location in Sandestin. Plenty of space, and clean. Great taking the golf cart to the pools, Beach, Baytown Wharf, shops and restaurants. We will certainly be back.

Great Location, comfortable stay

This location is convenient and cozy, however, I think the space could benefit from some updates on decorations and furnishing. some of the pieces look a bit worn out. The beds were comfortable and the essentials were provided. With a bit of TLC, this place could truly shine.

The poorest VRBO condo we’ve ever rented.

The golf cart and beds were good. Main level was updated. Upstairs carpet is stained everywhere. Very disgusting. Should not be rented until that is remedied. Condo also had a very bad odor. Maintenance man changed filters and sprayed something to cover it up.

A great condo close to many things to do

It was a great condo. Room to spread out. Lots of fun artwork to make the space fun and bright!! Everything you need. The golf cart was fun to drive to the pool. A great experience.

Staycation

When we checked in, I noticed the bathrooms upstairs wasn't to clean; so, we cleaned them. Then I discovered the toilet in the main suite lead was broken (couldn't sit down on it to use it). Also, in the main suite the TV was not working and the maintenance guy came over on Friday evening around 5:30 pm to fix it. We also only had two tram passes (instead of five). But the other amenities helped us enjoy our stay.

Great value and wonderful location

Our family of 4 recently stayed at Bayou Village 610 and certainly agree that it was a great value that checked most of our boxes when it came to needs. Pros: -Perfect location just inside the main entrance of Sandestin and close to Baytowne and lots of shopping/dining (1 mile away!) -AWESOME & NEW lithium powered golf cart that took us everywhere and never even changed from 100% charged -Safe and quiet location -Very well appointed kitchen with 2 coffee pots (traditional and Keurig) -Comfy foam mattress beds (bring your own pillows though!) -Lovely decor and entertaining artwork throughout the unit -Great backyard with nice walking path steps away Cons: -Needs updating! TVs are OLD and don't have any Smart features (i.e. Netflix or Disney+ capabilities). We relied on the DVD/VHS player and rented movies from Publix - first time kiddos got to experience DVDs since we always use streaming -Dryer didn't work after 1 load but washer worked great -Lots of stains on Primary Bathroom ceiling from possible leak need to be addressed -Tub in Primary Bathroom doesn't drain well -The carpet could use a good cleaning - lots of stains Aside from these minor issues, the unit was great for our family and very cozy. It checked all of our boxes and was a great value for all that you got, especially the location and golf cart. Thanks for a great vacation!

Lovely condominium

We’ve been coming here for Thanksgiving for years but staying at a different condo in the neighborhood. This condo was far nicer! It has been updated completely downstairs and is very open and bright. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms. They thoughtfully provided every supply we needed. Also, love the artwork throughout, it was perfect!

Great week at the beach!!

The condo is beautiful! We 4 had an awesome vacation...we rented bikes and rode them everywhere on the many biking and walking paths. We even rode them to the beach, using the tunnel under US 98. You can also take the golf cart to the beach using the same tunnel. Speaking of which: The golf cart is such an awesome option. We took it to Publix, too, and also to one of the many swimming pools available to us as guests. The condo has a lovely, well-equipped kitchen: made dinner at home twice. We also availed ourselves of the washer and dryer, which came in so handy. Appreciated everything about this place, including the screened in porch where we often had coffee at breakfast. Totally recommend!

Family Vacation

House was not clean. Our dog found multiple pringle chips that had been left on the floor (majority being under the table in dinning room area). The bathtub in the master did not drain, you had water above your ankles before you could finish taking a shower. The golf cart broke down multiple times leaving us stranded on the opposite side of the resort. Note left on the golf cart that the property managers were aware and nothing was done. Asked to start washing the laundry on check out instructions but we had no provided washing detergent to wash the laundry with. 10AM is a pretty early checkout in my opinion.

Disappointing stay

While the unit itself was very clean and nicely appointed, my family will avoid renting a Vacasa property in the future. Because of previous reviews from people who had problems with the golf cart that comes with the unit, I sent a message to Vacasa asking if the problems with the steering wheel and golf cart losing power had been corrected and received the following reply from Sheila C. from Vacasa who wrote “I’m happy to let you know the battery and charger have been replaced. It is running well now.” Based on this reassurance, we proceeded with the reservation process. Unfortunately the first time we drove the golf cart it died and left us stranded. Sandestin security kindly stopped and gave us a ride home and Vacasa was notified. They had the golf cart towed back to the unit by their people who looked at it, scraped away some corrosion from the battery terminals, and then came back and test drove it later that day after allowing it to charge for four hours. We were hoping the problem was fixed but after they test drove the cart they warned us not to drive it because they felt the motor was overheating causing it to shut down We did not hear anything from Vacasa after that at all, and two calls to them to inquire what the next step was resulted in apologies from people who said they worked at the call center and couldn’t do more than relay messages to the local property manager. We never heard from the property manager at all and did not have a golf cart to use the entirety of our vacation. The primary reason for renting the unit was because we liked the updated look of the unit and because a golf cart was included. We are beyond disappointed as we fully expected, based on Vacasa reassurances, that an operable golf cart would be waiting for us. Instead, we had a golf cart that was unsafe to use and left us literally stranded on the side of a road. Hopefully this review will be helpful to others as there are many different properties and many different property management companies to chose from.

Love the location easy walk to many sites. Golf cart provided was slightly unreliable after a 20min or so. Needed to be recharged

Great Place!

This was beautiful condo that was well apportioned. The only downside is that golf cart is not in good shape. The steering wheel is dangerously loose and it would not go up a hill with 4 normal sized adults. We are golfers so we use golf carts often. If the owner would repair the golf cart, it would be five stars!
