As soon as you enter, you are welcomed into a space where the character of yesteryear blends subtly with contemporary comfort. The apartment, called Le Nid Vouté, is laid out as a duplex and has an intimate, almost secret atmosphere—a real escape from the city.
The cozy bedroom, nestled under the rock, offers a warm cocoon that invites you to relax after a day of exploring Normandy. Upstairs, the light-filled living room opens onto a private terrace, a rare space in the city center where you can enjoy a morning coffee or a drink at sunset while watching life go by.
The kitchen, fully equipped for preparing your meals, blends harmoniously into the living space. The bathroom, with its bathtub, promises moments of well-deserved relaxation. Every detail, from the linens provided to the functionality of the storage space, is designed to make you feel at home, in complete autonomy.
This place is not just a place to stay for the night: it is an experience rooted in the heritage and authenticity of Rouen, ideal for couples or travelers looking for a stay that combines modern comfort and historical soul.

No private parking is available with the accommodation. However, you will be able to park your vehicle in the streets around the accommodation according to the rates in force in the town or in the covered pay car park of the Vieux-Marché located just opposite your flat. The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 9pm. We thank you for taking care of the accommodation, respecting the premises and the neighbours. A bank imprint will be requested via a secure link in order to finalise your reservation and obtain the access codes to the accommodation.

The Place du Vieux-Marché in Rouen is a place steeped in history and charm. It was here that Joan of Arc was burnt alive in 1431, an event that left its mark on French history. Today, the square is surrounded by historic buildings, including the church of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc, which boasts modern architecture and an impressive stained glass window.
The square is often bustling with activity, with cafés and restaurants inviting you to relax. Markets and cultural events are held here regularly, attracting locals and tourists alike. With its cobbled streets, picturesque atmosphere and historical memorabilia, the Place du Vieux-Marché is a must-see for anyone visiting Rouen.

The accommodation is located on the ground floor of the building, and the room is furnished as a souplex.
The location of the flat means you can visit the city of Rouen and its most important monuments on foot. There are plenty of car parks nearby, with the two closest (Parking du Vieux Marché and Parking de la Pucelle) a 2-minute walk away. For those wishing to explore the surrounding area, bus and metro stations are nearby. If you're travelling by train, the station is a 10-minute walk away.
Pay parking spaces are available in the Vieux Marché underground car park for added security.
## Notes
Arrivals are autonomous for greater flexibility. Check-in time is from 16:00 and check-out time is no later than 11:00.
The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10am to 9pm). In the house, all our guests receive household linen, basic necessities for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) as well as a large towel per person, together with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bag, bathroom bin bag, sponge and dishwasher liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.
We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Any mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel freshening, replenishment of essentials or deliveries can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our vouchers with promotional codes for our partners of choice and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.
The Cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, baby-sitting, gourmet boxes, requests for sightseeing tours, creation of events (wedding proposals, birthdays, room themes, etc.) and much more! Taking advantage of a rental also means respecting a few rules to ensure that everything runs smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Remember to look after the property as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave it clean when you leave. Respect the rules on opening hours and the use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of your neighbours. And if you have any concerns, don't hesitate to let us know. Don't forget that parties are strictly forbidden (€250 deducted from the deposit), that the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 deducted from the deposit), that pets are forbidden (€50 deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us and that any loss, theft or damage will be invoiced at the actual replacement value.
