1. Trash: City trash can is located on the left side of the house outside the fence in a corner. Wednesday is the trash day. So please put the trash can on the street on Tuesday night and pull it back by Wednesday night.

2. Ceramic Cookware: Recommended heat setting for ceramic cookware is medium to low. These should be hand washed with the provided foam brush. No sharp material should be used to clean them.

3. Shoes: Please take your shoes off when getting on Sofas, Beds etc. to keep the environment clean and safe from germs.

4. Stairs: Please be careful when using Deck stairs as they are a little steep.

5. Patio Umbrella: Please fold the patio umbrella down when not in use to protect from wind.

6. Private: Areas labelled PRIVATE are for host use only.

7. Guests: Only registered guests are allowed on the premise.

8. Parking : Only on driveway and on the street. NO PARKING in any part of the yard.

9. TV Remotes: Please leave both the TV remotes on the coffee table when you leave.

10. Dryer Filer: Please remove stuff from Dryer Filter out between drying cycles. This will help drying your clothes faster.


11. Pets may be accepted on a case by case basis. In the event that your pet is accepted as part of your reservation we will clearly outline any additional fees.

12. Screen Door: Please close the screen door when you come in and out of the house. If left open, it can break.

13. Report Problems: Please report immediately if you have any problems with electricity, plumbing or anything else related to your stay at our cottage, so we can take care of it asap and it doesn't get any worse.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was very clean, well supplied with what was needed for our stay, and communication with the host was great. The beds were very comfortable, too.

Wonderful stay

I had a wonderful stay. The place was immaculate and had all the essentials I needed. Everything was well organized and the property manager was very approachable and willing to make sure I had a great visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Awesome stay!

Host communicated well, the property was clean and everything was easy to find. Some of the drawers had not been cleaned as they had items from past tenants in them, and the tub was a little dirty but overall it was all very good and convenient.

Cozy Cottage Indeed!!

We loved our stay at the cozy cottage. It has a big fenced in backyard & all of the comforts of home. It was so comfortable & very convenient. It’s a great spot for small families!! My son really appreciated the Roku TV. Our host was very responsive & helpful. We would definitely return & stay here again in the future. Arkansas had so much to see & do, we can’t wait to come back!!

Very quiet neighborhood. This was our very first time of renting a house for our yearly trip to NLR. It was so nice to be able to get a night's sleep without any issues like we've experienced in hotels. I believe we are officially hooked on renting a house for any trip away from home.

Feels Like Home

Pictures are accurate. Hospitality at its finest. Clean and neat. Heaters, furniture, and Wifi worked awesome. Comfy beds and couches. There are occasional barking of the neighbor's dog, trains, and cars, but it's still pretty quiet area to rest and chill.

Relaxed Roomy

We're used to staying in a motel when visiting a distance from home. This little house was just perfect. It was nice and clean. We didn't find ourselves running into each other.It gave us more space to move around, making it so much easier and quicker to get ready when going somewhere. Silverware and cooking utensils, stove,oven, fridge, microwave, towels and even smaller things you might have forgotten to pack.I definitely would do it again!!

Cute cottage. Quite neighborhood.

This is a nice little house with a fun, brightly colored country quilt and farm, theme. We loved the newly remodeled floors. Very pretty. We appreciated the access to the washer and dryer with provided detergent and dryer sheets. The neighbors are quiet, the neighborhood is peaceful and is less than 10 minutes away from major shopping centers. We had our two kids with us, ages 6 and 10. We felt safe and comfortable. The host is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. We would happily stay here again someday.

great little spot

Kalpana’s cottage is a sweet little respite, close to everywhere. even though the neighborhood is close there is really no “neighbor noise”. kalpana provides everything you might need so it’s nice not having to go to the grocery store upon arrival. we would stay there again without a doubt.

I am a Real Estate Investor.
Doing Business is my passion and I enjoy making people happy. Vacation Rental is a totally new venture for me, and this particular home is my own home where I used to live. From the day 1, somehow this home reminded me of a cottage, so I always called it a cottage.
I have enjoyed several years in this cottage sometimes making my favorite meal while watching drizzling rain on the deck, through my door.
Sometimes sitting on the deck doing my work while cool breeze was blowing, sometimes just sitting on my bed reflecting upon my day, enjoying the quietness of night, writing my journal and sometimes just sitting at the sofa gazing at the outside life and sometimes just hanging out with my Mom, calling it a "date night with my Mom" and just having fun watching movies, making some interesting meal and cleaning house.
The vibes of this cottage have always been very peaceful and happy. Even today when I come back, I find so much peace and happiness here that can't be described in words.

Today, it's my pleasure to present my cottage to you- in the hope that you can enjoy the peace, love, happiness and the beauty that it offers.

I really hope you will enjoy the experience of staying at the cottage. as much as I did! :)

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This was my own home where I lived for many years. Since the time I moved in, I always felt that it had that cozy and peaceful cottage feeling. I have spent many days sitting at my sofa, looking out the window, watching and enjoying different weathers like rain, winter and fall. Numerous nights I have enjoyed the quietness and peace of this cottage, sitting on my bed, reading or writing. And I can't tell you how many evenings I have spent on its deck, enjoying cool breeze and doing my work while enjoying my favorite drink or having my favorite meal with family and friends.
And recently I got inspired by Quilts. I have always used them but I hadn't realized that how much I loved the versatile colors and the hand made feeling they offer. So, when the idea came to convert my home to vacation rental, we brainstormed and we all got excited with the idea of having quilt theme and calling it our "Country Quilt Cottage". So, now I get to offer my cute comfy little cottage to you so you can enjoy its beauty, coziness and peaceful environment that it offers. Hope you will love it as much as I did!
