Rome Historical Apartment - Arco dei Banchi

Very spacious and quiet 4 bedrooms apartment on the third floor of a historic building, equipped with a lift. Located in a strategic position, literally a stone's throw from Castel Sant 'Angelo and overlooking the famous Arco dei Banchi, in a very central but quiet street. The high wooden coffered ceilings and the precious floors (ancient Roman terracotta) further enrich the charm of this apartment, equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, heating, wifi, TV). The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a living space with sofas and TV, and two bathrooms, both with showers.

Upon request, we can organize a transfer from/to the airport or station with our limousine service, Viano Mercedes and our trusted drivers.



Arrivals after 20:00 require an extra payment of EUR 30, while after 00:00 the cost will be EUR 60.

City tax is not included in the reservation and it will be due upon arrival. The amount is of 6 EUR per person per day.


The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out.

Apartment was beautiful, perfectly clean, well stocked, and in a wonderful location. Hosts were timely and attentive. There was an issue with the washing machine while we were there and they responded immediately to remedy the situation. It was a huge apartment and very quiet, perfect for staying with our 6 kids. Would be great for a larger group or extended family stay.

Everything about this apartment was perfect. The location is amazing. You can walk to a lot of the important historic locations that people want to see in Rome. We had eight people and the two bathrooms were enough. Most importantly if there was any people’s the hosts were easy to reach.

Spacious for family of five

Great location steps away from the Tibor and across from Vatican City. Large rooms for family with three teenagers. Only downside is four flights of steps, but there is a small elevator for luggage.

From the beginning communication with the management company was very good. Excellent location. Plenty of places to eat around. Public transportation was very close as but we use the transportation service offered thru the apartment. More expensive but extremely convenient (specially for airport transfer) We had a group of 8 and didn’t feel cramp in the apartment. We only use the elevator once. Very small (expected for this type of building) and decided to take the stairs. Extra steps We had a small issue with the hot water but was fixed very quickly (I do not mention this as an issue, but as a way to recognized how easy was to be in contact with the apartment manager and how attentive they were to our needs while there). We plan to go back to Rome, and if this apartment is available, for sure will book it again.

Clean, comfortable place

Clean place, great location, comfortable beds. The host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We also worked with them to get a driver to pick us up and drop us off from the train station/airport. I highly recommend this place for a group of friends.

Perfect location

The apartment was in the absolute perfect location. We were able to walk side streets and shop and go to restaurants. There is a market downstairs for sandwiches and some groceries. The apartment was very clean and typical of an Italian residence. I recommend the private chef. It was a fun experience to make pasta. I would stay here again!

Perfect Location

The property was very nice and spacious. The location was amazing and enabled us to walk everywhere. I had my elderly parents with us so the elevator was a must have (3rd floor) and it worked great. I would certainly recommend the property to everyone!!

Perfect Place to Stay!!!

We would 100% stay here again. Apartment was clean and check in was easy. The apartment has pretty much everything you need. Great location to all the sites. It is a lot of stairs, but there is an elevator for those that read the negative comments on the climb. Great location for many restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is quite even though it is close to many busy areas. Perfect place to stay!

Roman Adventure

This apartment was perfect for our group of 7, and we ranged in ages from 15 to 67. It was exactly as posted and well appointed. We chose it for its location, and it was ideal. Rome is a walking city, and we walked to the Colosseum, the Vatican, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, and its minutes from a hop-on hop-off bus stop.Local restaurants have incredible food and pastries, and a mini-market is minutes away.Francesca and Matteo were so helpful with all my questions, and arranged transportation for us from and to the airport, and the cruise terminal in Civitacchia. I will stay here again.

Wonderful location and apartment

Our family of five (with 3 teens) were able spread out in the apartment and get good sleep in the cool AC after the hot Rome daytime exploring. It was centrally located, very convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions, but not too close so there was peace and quiet. It was on a very quiet restricted street. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous apartment in great neighborhood

This apartment was wonderful. The 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were so big! Just downstairs you will find loads of great restaurants and shops. The hosts were so helpful in organizing a private transfer to and from the train station. It’s located on a quiet street. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful place.

Excellent location, great room configs and A/C!

Place worked out great for our party of 8 people across two families. Rooms are very spacious, kitchen very functional. The A/C in all rooms (except kitchen) was very much appreciated during Rome's 40+ degree weather. Francesca was responsive and informative. Great place overall.

It was a spacious apartment in a great part of the city! It was super clean and well stocked which a pleasant surprise. The staff was very informative and helpful. They arranged transport to and from the airport on very short notice. Great great visit!! Thank you!

The apartment is huge and very nice. Great location - we walked almost everywhere, though we did catch a ride to the Colosseum, as it was 100+/40 while we were visiting. Our check-in was easy and Georgia was super helpful with information. If you approach from the Via del Banco di Santo Spirito, you walk under the arch and are right there; the approach from the other direction will look a little dirty, as that's where trash pick up is. There is a small lift, but be aware it's 70+ steps up, so maybe not for everyone. But we absolutely would stay here again.

Perfect Home Base in Rome

We felt spoiled to have this beautiful apartment in Rome. It has so much space for our family of 8 to feel at home and comfortable. The bedrooms were large, the living room was cozy, the kitchen was appointed well enough and the air conditioning was a grace. A third bathroom would have been nice, but the two they have were spacious. The location was really good. About a 10 minute walk to St Peter’s and about 20 minutes to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The company that manages it was on top of everything and welcomed us warmly, in person, answering all our questions. I highly recommend using them to arrange transport to the airport - it was a breeze. The only downside is that there are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment and the lift / elevator is tiny. It took us 4 trips up and down the elevator to get the bags up, but that was a minor inconvenience and we just gave ourselves extra time when leaving. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Rome!
