CasaGrande es un amplio y espacioso piso de 180 metros cuadrados, en dos niveles, en la planta principal de un antiguo palacio barroco en el corazón de Roma. CasaGrande dispone de amplios salones y salas de estar con techos artesonados de madera de más de seis metros de altura.
Cuadros y litografías originales de reconocidos artistas contemporáneos decoran las paredes, al igual que grandes tapices murales, recuerdo de los viajes de los propietarios a Oriente Medio.
Hay cuatro dormitorios, cada uno con su propio baño.
Los baños son sencillos y básicos, pero con todo lo necesario. Una cabina de ducha de 70x70 cm. Normalmente puede alojar hasta 8 personas, 10 con camas supletorias.
CasaGrande es el lugar adecuado para alojarse en Roma durante periodos cortos o largos, ideal para estancias de negocios, incluso para grupos de personas. CasaGrande es para aquellos que quieren visitar Roma sin perder tiempo en largos desplazamientos. Se encontrará justo en su centro.
CasaGrande está equipada con calefacción independiente. No hay aire acondicionado, pero la particular estructura constructiva del Palazzo, típica del siglo XVII y basada en gruesos muros perimetrales e internos (algunos de ellos de más de un metro de ancho) garantiza una temperatura agradable en todas las estaciones y mantiene la casa fresca en verano y cálida en invierno sin necesidad de utilizar sistemas de aire acondicionado. Los grandes ventiladores de techo refrescan el aire en las zonas comunes y los más pequeños en los dormitorios.

Solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento a Roberto Funto , por el trato, la amabilidad y la cercanía que nos ha demostrado para hacernos que la estancia de 5 días haya sido maravillosa. La casa es preciosa, grande, exquisitamente conservada y decorada, pero todo ello es relativo frente al trato recibido por Roberto en su recibimiento y su disponibilidad a facilitarnos todas nuestras necesidades logísticas en Roma. Volveremos seguro.

CASA COMODISIMA Y MUY BIEN SITUADA

Hemos estado durante una semana 4 niños y 4 adultos. La casa nos ha encantado, ya que además de no faltarle de nada, está situada a dos minutos andando de la Plaza Navona. Roberto el propietario nos ha atendido en todo y super rápido, se nos estropeo wifi y en seguida vino e instaló uno nuevo. La cocina grande y espaciosa. Supermercado cerca, así como restaurantes y cafeterias. A los niños les ha gustado también mucho.Todo un lujo para visitar Roma !

Casa espectacular y trato espectacular

La casa es preciosa y situada en el centro de Roma, con fácil acceso andando a los puntos turísticos más importantes de la ciudad. No cogimos ningún metro ni autobús, excepto para ir al aeropuerto. La casa es muy cómoda, moderna, y totalmente equipada. Los detalles de bienvenida, la flexibilidad y el trato y disponibilidad de Roberto y su hija hicieron que estuviésemos encantados toda la estancia. Muchas gracias.

It is hard to describe just how amazing this property is. The location simply couldn’t be better and the the home itself is exceptional, as was the support and kindness of the host family (property managers). While located in the heat of Rome, the home is a beautiful quiet sanctuary with all the amenities needed. We highly recommend this incredible property.

This was the perfect apartment for our family of 6 vacation in Rome. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fabulous. Karina who assisted with checking in went above and beyond in her customer service! She responded to any and all questions. Karina helped to make our stay perfect!

A visit to Rome before my daughters wedding in Tuscany

The place was perfect! We had nine people. My husband and myself, my son and his family, his in laws and my ex husband! We visited Rome before heading to Tuscany for my daughter’s wedding. The location was so central to everything! Very well equipped. I loved having the washer and dryer. Our host was so accommodating. Very responsive. If I’m ever back in Rome this is where I will stay!

This property was centrally located, walkable to majority of must-sees, many great restaurants nearby and the host provided a great in-depth orientation. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and the space work great for us.

Lovely apartment - great location!

Extended family of 8 stayed in this very nice apartment right by Piazza Navona in Rome this past month. We were there five nights and, while we were a little "packed in" with 8 adults, we had adequate space and enough beds for everyone. The apartment is very cute - as shown in the pictures - and beds generally comfortable. The check-in was easy and communication with owners was very good - very responsive. The main issue we had was getting warm water for showers - it was very hit and miss. So you couldn't count on being able to get a warm shower in the am or at night, which was a challenge with eight people. The owner did say the boilers are new and they did come and check it while we were out - and at that point, evidently found warm water. Not sure if it was a time of day issue or what. But it was a challenge and the water was so cold that bathing was not optional if the warm water wasn't there when you went to take a shower. We also weren't able to keep the A/C unit going in the room - it would turn on and then turn right off. We were there in Oct. so resorted to opening the windows and just dealing with the street noise to get it cooler in the bedrooms at night as it was unseasonably warm when we were there. But other than those two issues, we had a great stay and loved out time in Rome. The location of this apartment just can't be beat-very walkable to so many of the sites we wanted to see-and the apartment really is a nice space for a family trip. Recommend!

Great Location

Roberto was very attentive prior to our stay. Upon arriving Alice greeted us & checking in was good. She was not as attentive as Roberto during our stay. Here are a few things to note about this property. These may or may not affect you but just sharing so you have a heads up. Hopefully they are helpful tips. -The front door to the property is very narrow. You can open it wider with a special key but be careful to do it properly or you could break it. -You have hold the button down for the dishwasher to start. Sadly it did not really work well anyway & did not wash the dishes well. -Coffee pot took forever to make the coffee. -The first bedroom as you go in the property to the left, the shower temp faucet are opposite. So the hot is actually cold & the cold is actually hot. Not a big deal, just a heads up. -Also in that specific shower, there is not really a lip on the floor & the water gets all over the bathroom floor. You will need towels to soak it up. Be careful not to slip and fall, my Aunt almost did. -The second bathroom downstairs as you walk back into the property that is not attached to a room has that “rotten egg smell” to it. Not sure why, not a big deal if you don’t care about that. -We had to let the water run awhile in all showers to get hot water. Would have been nice to know ahead of time as we all took cold showers the first morning. -It is a great location but keep in mind it gets noisy. -There is no Kleenex, again not a big deal but just a heads up.

DO NOT BELIEVE THE EARLY CHECK IN -NIGHTMARE CHECKIN

I will give credit where credit is due. The place is nice and in a prime location. However, I booked the place in January of 2024 and asked the host if I needed to book an extra night to check in at 8AM since we were arriving early. I was traveling with my 5mo old and 2 year old so I really needed somewhere to arrived to, which I was happy to book the extra night. I was reassured that we would not need to do this, and they confirmed early check in, which I was surprised so I confirmed a few months later with the host reassuring me that it would all be fine. I even asked again the Saturday before I left which was a Monday. ONE HOUR before landing the host messages me that there are people staying there and that we would not be able to check in until 2PM. I explained that i was told for 9 months multiple times that my early check in was confirmed and they said we got confused and sorry for the inconvenience. Karina, the woman checking us in, met us at the apartment and let us stay in the dirty apartment that they also own. I had to lay towels down for my young children to sleep. It was a nightmare. Karina kept telling me I should have booked an extra night and that she was bothered that she had to come down to let us in that early. I explained to her that I would have but I was told multiple it was fine she just rolled her eyes at me. I felt so used like they just wanted to collect the payment then tell us that we could not check in. Terrible experience

Roman Charm & Great Location

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful apartment, spacious, private bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. A/C in the bedrooms only. Great location! Responsive local caretaker when some issues arose. Three of the rooms have private bathrooms with showers. Guests in the 4th room will utilize the hallway bathroom, but the shower is way too small for anyone to use, so dont plan on this an option. The other showers have mold and do not seem to be cleaned enough. The rest of the apartment and bathrooms are spotless and very clean. Overall, highly recommend!

Perfect location for family in the Middle of Everything.

Beautiful Gem of a property - at the center of almost everything important. So simple to navigate. Apartment was way more that we needed - but it just felt so nice to be able to come home and spread out.

A beautiful traditional home in the centre of Rome

This gorgeous property is a wonderful place to stay to explore Rome. The location just off Piazza Navona puts all the main sights within walking distance. The accommodation was ideal for our group of seven spanning three generations - the chess set was an added bonus! Roberto and Alice communicated well from booking to check in, and were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to fully immerse themselves in this beautiful city.

Couldn't ask for better

We were a group of 5 - two adults and a teen, plus two 80-year old friends. The location of this condo can't be beat, within easy walking distance of all of the highlights of Rome. Despite busy surrounding area, noise wasn't a problem at night, thanks in part to their brand new AIR CONDITIONING in the bedrooms! That was a surprise, as the listing said there was none, but we were apparently the second renters since it was installed. Superbly clean and plenty of space for our group to all spread out. All we needed in the kitchen and we felt very safe and peaceful. The owner set up transportation to and from the airport/port for us and a manager met us on site to go over info and provide suggested places to eat/shop on a map. The laundry machine on site (including dryer) was another plus. Plenty of great food and sites very close by. There was some confusion who we should contact for what, as the owner provided his number and his daughter's number, plus we had contact info for the manager who checked us in. But we always eventually got the info we needed. We couldn't have picked a better place and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Rome vacation!

We had a family reunion with our three adult children and two daughters in law and our infant grandson. We found the place very comfortable and its proximity to everything was so awesome. We walked almost everywhere and felt we had a great Rome experience! It was wonderful to gather together at night and process all of the historic sites and everything we learned that day. A wonderful vacation flat and we would highly recommend this place to any family staying in Rome. Jeanne J

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Casagrande es una casa especial. El edificio barroco donde está ubicado el apartamento fue construido en 1670, al mismo tiempo que la iglesia de S.Agnese in Agone que domina la Piazza Navona. Los espacios amplios, sus techos de cajones de madera de más de 6 metros de altura, los dos pisos independientes, su cocina totalmente equipada y separada del comedor con ventanal corredizo y muchos otros detalles hacen de esta casa, una casa con alma y mucho carácter. Gracias a las paredes de piedra gruesas de más de un metro, la temperatura se mantiene ideal, caluroso durante el invierno y fresco en verano, sin necesidad de aire acondicionado. Las 4 habitaciones, cada una con su propio cuarto de baño, son muy acogedores.
