Welcome to Topridge! This cozy rancher is centrally located – close to all the wonderful attractions that Chincoteague has to offer. Main Street, with its charming shops and restaurants, as well as Chincoteague’s main drag, Maddox Boulevard, are both less than a mile away. Or, you can head to Veterans Memorial Park - a great site for fishing, crabbing, and boating. Chincoteague’s beautiful beach is just a short drive - or a bike ride - away, and other pony attractions - such as the carnival grounds and Chincoteague Pony Centre - are nearby, too!.

While Topridge is close to all the action, the house itself is in a quiet neighborhood, set back from the road for added privacy. Topridge is a relaxing, dog friendly retreat. This three bedroom (1 queen, 1 full, and a bunk room with one full and two twins), two full bathroom house offers an open floor plan with an inviting living, dining, and kitchen space. We also have a bonus sun porch. Our huge screened-in porch with areas for dining and lounging is a great place to relax after a day of fun. We offer a spacious, fenced in yard (six feet tall for anyone with jumpers!) that backs up to a wooded lot. Your furry friends can enjoy some sunbathing or chase after a tennis ball. We would love to host you in our home away from home! THIS HOUSE DOES NOT PROVIDE LINENS OR TOWELS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Fabulous property, reader's dream

We came down with a lot of extended family members (all in their own homes) and this was a great place to gather. Between the kitchen, living room, dining room and two porches, plenty of places to sit and enjoy ourselves. The owners have large libraries scattered thru the house with books for every genre you could imagine and a fun game room. And our pups appreciated the fenced in back yard! Very comfortable beds, and great pillows.

My parents are in their 90s and the convenience of no stairs (in the home) and 3 bedrooms works so much for us!! It's a fantastic house and pet friendly!

Relaxing family beach vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was the perfect size for our family and 2 dogs. We had every amenity we needed and then some. The game room was a bonus surprise. Unfortunately we had some issues with the electricity and we weren't able to enjoy the back screened in porch or backyard once the sun went down. The house was an easy drive to the beach and the kids loved all the shops and food options. It was our first time on the island and we had a great time.

My parents are in their 90s so we wanted a 1 level place. Topridge was the perfect choice! It had an open layout and 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms! It had 3 different patio spaces...1 out front, 1 enclosed (with lots of books)off the dining room and 1 screened in porch surrounded by a large fenced backyard! Great place for a dog! My dog loved it! The kitchen was spacious and had just about every thing you need. The furniture was fine and comfortable. The beds were fine maybe leaning towards the firmer side of mattress. The location was fine for us. We don't walk everywhere anymore but we were just minutes from everything. You could easily bike everywhere! We would definitely recommend this place and we would rent again!

Spacious, private, easy access

Great house for a great price! Not just “pets allowed”, but down right dog welcoming! Sun porch is amazing. Tons of room to spread out. Easy access to beach, entertainment, and dining, but somehow felt private. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a game room which was a nice little surprise. We stayed during a really hot week and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up which is to be expected. We were out and about during the day anyways, but the bedrooms did not cool off as much as we would have liked at night. Overall, I would rent Topridge again!

The game room was amazing and I almost got the dog face puzzle put together while we were there. I would’ve loved to try out the hammock but the mosquitos were ridiculous the week we were there. Harbour Rentals was responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a good experience.

This property is clean and our family enjoyed the extra porch areas and game room. However, this property needs some attention to the A/C especially in the bedrooms. Upgraded mattresses would be greatly appreciated and enough dishes (bowls) for all six to eat from. The loose front porch railing needs to be repaired soon! I think this can be a place we return to with a few tweaks and less “quirks”.

We really appreciated the fenced in back yard, dog toys, and bags. Kitchen was perfectly stocked as was everywhere else in the house! Our girls loved the game room and I especially loved all the book!!! We would absolutely come back again The *only* wish we would make would be for a different mattress. Both my husband and I had very sore backs by the end of the week.

Convenient and well-cared-for

I stayed once with family and once with a group of friends, and it was perfect for both--the house has lots of different spaces for gathering, so kids could play games on one porch while grown-ups talked in the living room. With my friends, we were each able to find our own spot for writing during the morning, and the kitchen & screened in porch were ideal for cooking, drinking wine, talking, and eating in the evenings. This would also be a great place for two families with kids, as the third bedroom has bunk beds and could easily sleep 4 kids. Everything is clean and well cared for, and you can tell that the owners are genuine dog lovers, with lots of poop bags, beds, and even a basket of dog toys stationed for your pup's comfort. We brought our dog and he gave it two paws up! The location is quiet, but convenient to both town and the beach. enthusiastically recommend.
