Casa Dino is a luxury 3 bedroom adobe home exactly halfway between Taos Ski Valley and the Town of Taos (8 miles in either direction). This lovely home features vigas ceilings, kiva and standard fireplaces. There is an outdoor fireplace and hot tub with incredible views of Taos Mountain. The front patio is fully enclosed with the addition of a new gate. There is a fully equipped chef's kitchen with wolf range and oven. Come ski, relax ,hike and unwind in beautiful Arroyo Seco.

Stunning Property

Upon arrival the first thing my partner said was “welp, can’t go back to staying anywhere else!”. The house is situated at the foot of the mountains leading to the Taos Ski Valley and has a simply stunning view out the back window. The couches and beds are very cozy, the hot tub amazing, and the kitchen is organized and totally stocked with all the equipment you’d need to cook for a large family. We had an excellent trip!

This was our 15th or so trip down over the past decade and we've stayed in almost every house in the neighborhood. There are some great ones.This was our first time staying in Casa Dino. We liked the front patio and back porch a lot. The house itself is in need of a bit of love though. One of the guest beds needs urgent replacing, window handles are broken, and the master show sprays water everywhere. Good place that needs a little love and attention to be made great.

When we arrived the owners did not have good instructions about connecting to WIFI and it took a couple of phone calls to get it to work. Also drain stoppers in the sink of 2nd bedroom did not work. Amazing Escape

Comfortable home with a nice kitchen and hot tub. This place delivered all 3. This house was the perfect location from the hill and the cool town of arroyo seco. The house was perfect size for a family of 4 skiers and the kitchen was great. Hot tub views were amazing. Plus a garage made life easy. I am definitely coming back.

Right smack dab in the middle between downtown taos and taos ski valley. Beautiful view of the mountains. Plenty of space and peace and quiet.

Christmas in Taos

Our only complaint is that it did not snow until the day we left😊but we were in awe of the amazing home and how accommodating it was for us and convenient to slopes, restaurants and shopping. We will be back!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a disappointment. Everything seemed very tired and somewhat dirty. We decided not to cook as all the dishes and glasses were sticky and we had to wash every glass we used. The big view windows that looked upon the mountains had broken seals so the view was foggy.

Perfect Location, Perfect Casa, Perfect View

Casa Dino did not disappoint. We would wake to a quick hot tube while drinking coffee and taking in the best view in the valley. Then on to pefect accomodations and water pressure to prepare to enjoy the restaurants and nearby shops. Finish the day with a soak and that view, rince and repeat.

Great place to stay for skiing

Very easy drive to Taos for skiing and a great place to return for a relaxing evening. we made use of the great kitchen to cook almost every meal at the house. great layout for socializing in the evening too

Pictures don't do this property justice. It is absolutely perfect! The location is great if you are planning on skiing Taos Ski Vally. The house has all the comforts of home plus a few extras! Thank you for a very enjoyable week of skiing with the family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just to put it out there and clear: We loved staying at this house. The view of the mountains from the large windows in the back of the house, or from the hot tub on the patio was incredible. And the stars were great to watch as you soak. Overall, it's an incredible place to stay. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms are large, and the water pressure in the shower was beyond exceptional. It was to die for...It was clean, in good repair, with comfortable furnishings and lights on dimmers, a fireplace, and the kitchen had granite countertops, lots of storage and dishes, and a wolf stove/oven and subzero refrigerator! We were there in the winter, and the distance to town and the ski areas were equidistant. We made quick work of getting to Angelfire and Taos. When we go back to the Taos area, this is where we'll stay, hands down.Everything that follows are either minor issues or just to help make your stay better: If you plan to cook, bring good cookware, as the stuff they have was a bit less than what the wolf stove could deliver. I recommend a sturdy sheet pan and large, heavy sauce pan. they had a cast iron skillet, but it's smallish. Absolutely bring your knives as the ones there were very dull, and some tongs. Bring a stereo or music playing device if you want to listen to music out of more than the television. We missed the music and a good system would have really enhanced the experience. Only real complaint was the dishwasher was not good. It didn't clean the dishes to the point you would eat or drink from them, and we did a lot of dishes by hand... and there is no sprayer at the sink, which was awkward. The top rack of the dishwasher also doesn't pull all the way out, so loading was awkward too. We ultimately just stopped using it since glasses wouldn't come clean out of the unit. Even those in the cabinets weren't really clean, so we washed them too.Again these were minor issues, and overall t

Magical Stay

It was a beautiful home, warm and cozy, well decorated, and had everything we could have needed. We spent chilly nights by the fire, we lounged in the hammock on the back porch and took in the mountain views, watched the stars at night from the hot tub, and we loved walking the neighborhood with our dog and getting to know the neighbors, who were all so friendly and welcoming. It's close to Taos Sky Valley and an easy drive into the town of Arroyo Seco where we enjoyed shopping and most importantly the amazing food and wine. Our stay was truly amazing. My husband and I both worked from home during our stay and the wifi was fast and reliable. The property management company worked hard to get us into a place that would fit our needs and Casa Dino exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend this property enough. It was a marvelous experience.
