Welcome to The Bear's Den! A cozy and comfortable one-room suite complete with the sights and sounds of Lake Superior. If possible, please reserve through the website to avoid confusing communications that are not feeding properly from my website. It's conveniently located just minutes away from the incredible small & culture-filled town of Grand Marais, MN, the Superior Hiking Trail, along with biking and ski trails. In addition, it is only about 30 minutes away from Lutsen Ski Resort and Superior National Golf Course. There is shopping, dining, live music/arts ...all along the shore of Lake Superior! A variety of events are scheduled throughout the year in and around Grand Marais. Enjoy free high-speed internet, a smart TV (but no cable), a mini-fridge, microwave, dishes and utensils, coffee, and coffee maker along with a large private bathroom (complete with a revitalizing soaking/jetted tub and separate shower). This lovely suite was recently updated and remodeled and you'll certainly enjoy its charm, cleanliness, and convenience to amenities the North Shore and Grand Marais have to offer. It is similar in style to a studio apartment as it is located in the lower level of a single-family home and has a private entrance. The upper level is occupied by the owner who is on hand for any questions or requests. There is no direct lake access. E-bikes are available to rent this summer!
