Beautifully Renovated 3 Bedroom Home with 2 Bathrooms Centrally Located

Veronica's Villa is a beautifully renovated three-bedroom villa on the sunny southern side of St. Thomas. Between Havensight and Red Hook, you will never be too far from the action. Spend the day enjoying the island's beaches, bars, and restaurants, and return to your spacious and relaxing accommodations.

The villa features an extensive, air-conditioned living room and kitchen with all the essentials for preparing a delicious meal at home. The primary suite features a queen-sized bed, air conditioning, and ensuite bathroom. Additionally furnished with queen beds and air conditioning, the two guest rooms share a full bathroom in the hallway. You will have everything need for a worry-free stay, including beach towels and a washing machine and dryer.

Veronica's Villa is located on a public road, so you may occasionally hear passing traffic. However, for your peace of mind, the residence is equipped with security cameras and includes private off-street parking. You will reside in one of the loveliest homes in the neighborhood, surrounded by families. Enjoy all that the island has to offer and invest more in experiences.

Don't judge a book by its cover

The villa was perfect for my family and I. We had plenty of room. It was very convenient for us. We had doubts at first but once we entered the villa it was very nice. Thank you to Amanda and her team. We will be back to visit!!

Accommodating

Host was very accommodating with our check in since our flights were a mess. Helpful with information regarding tours. If you are looking for a big, clean space, this is great. House is in a convenient location but on a very busy road.

Good for the price but has some problems

Good size for large parties. Updated interior. Good for the price paid. The problems: It gets incredibly hot. They ask not to run the portable AC units throughout the day as electricity is expensive (which is true). The problem is that it takes it forever to cool down, and some rooms don't cool at all. The house is located on a busy road, which is not a terrible problem. However, it can be tricky pulling in and out of the parking. Parking can be an issue, though. There is a tenant living at the bottom of the house, and sometimes he would have his buddies over, taking up parking spots. They would move if requested, but just more work to do. While we were there, we had an issue with electricity getting shut off. Of course, it made the house so hot that it was unbearable to sit in, much less sleep in. We ended up having to get another hotel for the last 2 nights. The owner refunded us one night, and we tried to get the second night refunded, but the owner didn't return my calls/texts. All in all, this is a good, cost effective option for large parties. Not too far from Charlotte Amalie (10-15 minute drive).

Not a suitable vacation rental.

I'll start with the positives of which there are a few. The inside of the house was exactly as pictured and "looked" nice and the owner was friendly and did offer us a small partial refund because of the numerous issues that I will go into. The house on the inside had several problems including a non-working electrical outlet in the master bedroom, lights that did not work at all in a 2nd bedroom and clothes dryer that did not dry. Probably the biggest problem with this rental was that it is in a BAD neighborhood. The housing projects are up the street and the next door neighbors blasted their music until the wee hours of the morning. The property next door literally looks like an auto junkyard with old cars littered throughout the front and back yards. The rental property also had car parts and old appliances in the backyard. For what this place cost for the week and what we had to endure with the numerous issues with the condition of the property, neighbors and neighborhood, it just isn’t worth it. This property is my opinion is just not a suitable property for a vacation rental.

About our stay

The place is absolutely beautiful! It was clean and had ample space for our family of 5. The check in was easy and communication was a breeze. When we drove up on it, we were very concerned about what “part of town” we were in. The neighbors blasted music really loud, main road traffic is literally off the drive and also very loud at night, and the lights from cars beam in the main bedroom throughout the night as well. But I do feel we were safe even though it may not feel like it at first depending on where you’re coming from. Typical island house concerns included low water pressure and water that never quite got hot enough. We appreciated being able to do the laundry, the kitchen was huge and the coffee was stocked. We loved the welcome card and gifts. There were AC units in every room and fans so we were never uncomfortable. Despite the outside, this home inside is truly beautiful.

Not just a house but an experience!!!

This rental was great if you want to save on the house and splurge on experiences and excursions. Amanda is an amazing host. She made every detail personable, sweet, and precise. We not only had a nice clean, fully stocked home but also a personal itinerary planner while staying with Amanda. Great communication leading up to our trip and friendly neighborhood in central location of attractions and all things island life.
