Welcome to The Blue Desert Inn!

Come stay at our charming and spacious, newly remodeled home, right in the heart of Tempe. We are 10 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, downtown Tempe, and ASU.

Old Town Scottsdale, fantastic golf courses, hiking trails, and spring training grounds for the Cubs and Angels are also just minutes away.

We offer a relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms in a safe & quiet neighborhood that is great for families.

If you're a homebody, no problem. Enjoy an array of board and card games, the cozy fire pit, and play some corn hole, disc golf, or bocce. Or just kick back and watch some TV! Plenty to do in the house and nearby for the intro or extrovert.

Meyer Park includes a recently remodeled playground, baseball field, and large open space located within a 3-minute walk from the home. Perfect for walking the dog or letting the kids get out their energy!

My wife and I have been locals our entire lives so if you need any recommendations, please feel free to ask us!

Great House

I can’t say enough great things about this house. My husband and I brought our mothers to see our ASU student. House was close to campus, spotless, and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the back yard and the grilling dinner each evening. Would definitely recommend. Also, I have stayed at many VRBOS and have never had one so well stocked with EXTRA paper products and trash bags.

Beautiful home in great location!

Goodness, this home was lovely and perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful thanksgiving week with our Sun Devil. It was the best stocked VRBO house we’ve ever stayed in. They had everything we needed available.

Great house and great location

Stayed here for ASU parents weekend and the house was the perfect location. Close to all ASU activities. House had a nice living and outdoor door area and was very clean and well equipped. Internet is a bit slow so wasn’t optimal for working a lot but was enough to get by for a long weekend. Host communications were excellent.

Outstanding house in a excellent location

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. House is completely stocked with everything you would need for a short term stay. Excellent communication with the hosts before, during, and after our stay. Keyless entry enabled easy check in even with a very late arrival.

this place was great. It had everything we needed outside of food to start out with. So nice not to have to rush store. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Wanted to bring back a pillow it was so nice.

We came for the Waste Management Tournament at TPC Scottsdale but this spot ended up being the hidden gem of the trip. Easy access to all parts of town with shopping, food, and golf courses only a short drive away

Perfect Tempe home and location

We loved this house and look forward to returning. Easy check in, lots of planning went into setting up this vrbo, kitchen fully stocked. The house is so clean and beds very comfortable. Great back yard, nice patio table and grill. Close to ASU and airport and great restaurants. The hosts are very helpful. Thanks for a great stay.

Nicer than the pictures! Clean, smelled nice, all the amenities and coffee. Fantastic communication with the owners. Easy access into the house. Comfy beds and living area. Just a wonderful place that we would highly recommend. My daughter's dog loved it too!

Great House, Great Stay

The house was immaculate, well equiped, and very comfy. We especially appreciated the coffee, sugar, and milk, along with the provided snacks. This kept us from even having to go to the grocery store! We enjoyed sitting in the backyard, even if we did not get to play bocce. A great house - would stay here again.

Amazing long stay

We were at the house for 12 nights for a couple baseball tournaments and everything was excellent! Really fit every need that we had and very convenient to all parts of Arizona. The backyard as everybody has mentioned was really fun and my son and his friends really enjoyed it(they are cornhole experts now!). Also the kitchen was really nicely set up and had everything that you could possibly want to cook there. The big island in the middle also was really convenient to having multiple people in the kitchen at one time. Definitely a must stay!

Hygge House Was Perfect!

I rented this house to be close to my 50-year high school reunion events. I shared it with my sister and a friend from MN. The house was perfect for us! Really clean and well-appointed with everything from a Brita in the fridge to shampoo and soap in the showers, to extra towels, to corn hole, Frisbee golf in the back yard! and more. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of spices as well. It was quiet at night and the back patio was a perfect place for morning coffee. Best of all the location in Tempe was close to everything including the airport. I would most definitely rent this house again!

Great Get-Away in Tempe

We enjoyed our 1 month stay at this home in a quiet Tempe neighborhood. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. I will say it was the best VRBO rental we have stayed in for kitchen utensils and coffee beans provided. We really liked the totally enclosed backyard for our dog and we used the grill and fire pit and the nice patio. This house is on the free Orbit bus line so we were able to hop on and get to the Tempe Art fair and avoid parking hassles. We could easily walk to Meyer Park which was a nice place to take the dog. Overall, the location was good for getting to Scottsdale and Phoenix, in spite of a lot of traffic. The owners of the house were easily accessible and we would gladly stay at this house again.

Lovely stay in Tempe

Very nice house and back yard! The kitchen is very well equipped and beautiful. The living room is very inviting and comfortable. Lots of closet space. Plenty of hot water. Excellent heating and air conditioning system. Sliding glass door from dining room to the backyard. The backyard is perfect for dogs or children. Our dogs loved the backyard. The hosts Neven and Kirsten responded very quickly to answer questions. We truly appreciated them. Neven even added some extra security to a yard gate for our dogs. Some nice restaurants in the area are US Egg, Thirsty Lion and King’s Fish House and Top of the Rock. Great experience overall.
