I have stayed at Hilton Head Resort in the past. This unit was clean and accurately represented in the listing. For the price it had everything that I could expect. Communication and expectations from the host were clear and I would likely stay at other properties managed by them in the future. The overall resort facility is definitely showing some wear and tear but the indoor pool is a huge plus if storms roll in. The boardwalk to the beach is long, but I enjoy the scenery along the way and the beach is never crowded compared to many other areas of the island.

The property was definitely conveniently located to areas of shopping and eating. Beautiful view from the windows and balcony. Loved the young lady who greeted us at the gate each time we came back to the property. She had such a sweet smile and wave and was so friendly and helpful as we checked in.

Perfect location

Me and a buddy were in town for a golf tournament and this place was perfect. We each had our own space and the two queen beds was a bonus. Center of everything and gave the ability to play anywhere with a short drive. Will stay again if available.

Beautiful home/vacation

The place was warm and cozy and very clean. The floors were very sandy coming in for our initial stay, I wish there was a broom and dust pan and I’d swept it up. Overall it was nice and close to everything. The bar and suvonier shop was a bonus. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, the scenery was beautiful.

The Alligator View !

The location is great for appreciating the rising sun , the mist on the golf course and the GREAT view of the busy alligator in the pond just off the balcony, also , we are bird lovers and each morning we enjoyed seeing and listening to the more then 19 species we identified…; all while enjoying morning coffee on the balcony , just special and wonderful….thanks

Weekend getaway

Weekend getaway for 4 adults and 1 child. Enough room for all of us comfortably. The apartment was beautiful, quiet and clean. Easy walk to the beach, pool l, and bike rentals. Only thing I wish they would add is curtains to the front bedroom. The window is located right off the front walkway and the outside lights don’t shut off so the bedroom wasn’t dark at all. Would stay there again but will definitely bring a sleep mask 😀

Easy access to everything!

I had a comfortable stay at this property. It was clean and as pictured. Parking close to our building in the evening was slim pickings. Had to park at another building and only one elevator in the building. We mostly used the stairs. Access to beach was great and having a kitchen. Overall, enjoyed my stay. Just minutes from airport, food, church and everything else.

Maintenance Issues

From online, this villa looked very inviting. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in we found a variety of issues. The place 'looked' clean, but after taking off our shoes and unpacking we discovered that our white socks had turned brown. The dark floor had not been properly mopped in sometime. We then found the coffee table was broken and ready to fall over. The property manager had to find a new one the next day. The building maintenance then informed us of an apparent leak outside coming from inside our bathroom. They had to call a plumber to take out and install a new toilet. However, we quickly found water sitting under the bathroom sink and moldy towels stuffed at the back of the cabinet. The sink must have been leaking for an extended period and was never repaired correctly. It would have taken multiple days to tear out and replace the cabinet, so it was opted to leave it as is...they would repair it after we left. Meanwhile, the villa has three Spectrum cable boxes and none of them worked. We tried to call the Spectrum hotline listed in the owner's welcome binder, but that number was no longer in service. We had to rely on WiFi apps to enjoy the TV. The cable boxes need replaced, and they need to update the owner's binder. Finally, on the day of our departure, the cleaning lady arrived at 8:15am. Checkout was not until 10am and we had not even finished packing. Overall, this villa had a number of pre-existing maintenance issues that have either been ignored or were poorly managed. The only upside, the property manager was very understanding and responsive, and she tried her best to mitigate each issue. However, there were just too many issues to truly enjoy our stay.

We arrived to find the property in very poor condition — what appeared to be feces on a bathroom mat, a backed-up kitchen sink, stains and peeling wallpaper around the toilet, and a strong stale smell throughout. The dishwasher reeked when opened, and the shower curtain was covered in mold and grime. The back patio door lock felt insecure for a ground-level unit.On top of that, the property was extremely noisy, with loud guests in adjacent units making it difficult to rest. We reported everything with photos the night we arrived, but management only said they’d “suggest a deep clean to the owners” — no apology or resolution. This property was not clean, quiet, or guest-ready, and should be reviewed by VRBO for health and safety concerns.

Great unit! Loved how close it was to the outdoor pool!

Great unit. I loved how close it was to the outdoor pool and closer to the beach then some of the other units. They also provided great beach chairs and other beach things for us to us which was great. We also loved the TV options for night time. Just a few things we noticed: The master bathroom door would not shut all the way and the A/C unit seemed like it didn't work as well in the bedrooms as it did everywhere else. The front room was very warm the entire stay. The fans were very helpful to have in the unit provided.
