Beekeeper's House

Two story brick colonial. Five bedrooms, 3 full baths, large formal living room, dining room, den, and Florida room. The master bedroom accesses a second story balcony. On the ground floor - there is a queen bed and a full bath with a walk-in shower. The home's builder had two hobbies - Beekeeping and construction. Over the course of his career he built 13 of the homes on Enderly Heights.

Always a dog family we welcome your pets as you visit the colleges, breweries, wineries and the many natural wonders of the greater Buena Vista, Lexington and Rockbridge County area that include Natural Bridge and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The house includes use of the two-car garage and a garage door opener. There are two “smart” TVs, the one in the den is 55” with a subscription to Sling TV, an Apple TV subscription and Disney+. The second TV is in the master bedroom.

COFFEE - when my family travels it is important to know what the coffee situation is - the Beekeeper's House has two coffee makers (drip and a Keurig) as well as a coffee bean grinder.

In 2024 I replaced most of the windows with Pella casement windows and I plan to add security cameras in three areas to the exterior of the house - doorbell cameras on both doors and in the garage. There are no cameras inside the house.

Fantastic stay!!

A phenomenal stay at a fabulous house- we LOVED staying at the Beekeeper’s House. Cozy, comfortable, lots of details, our host responded quickly and was gracious. A quiet neighborhood, amazing water pressure, very clean, the ambiance is perfect, anything we needed was there. If you can find any available dates to stay, don’t hesitate to book this.

Nicest Home in the Area

We enjoyed our stay at the Beekeeper's House. We were in town for VMI graduation, and the house worked out perfectly for our extended family. The hosts were very flexible with us and that removed a lot of stress. We would definitely recommend this home for a short or long stay in the area.

VMI 2024 Graduation

We gathered as a family to celebrate my nephews graduation from VMI. The location was easy to get into Lexington for all the Graduation events. We had 9 Adults staying at the home. We were able to celebrate our cadet and his friends and their families. Karen was every easy to work with and very responsive to all my questions. If you are looking for a place for the 2025 graduation season I would highly recommend this location!

Perfect for a 5 day stay

House is clean and has all the amemties we were looking for. The host's attention to detail was very evident as everything on our arrival was perfectly laid out. Beds were very comfortable. Neighborhood is super quiet and lots of trees and birds. We enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood each morning. One thing to be aware of - wifi was superfast on one side of the house but its range was not great to cover the opposite side of the house. Not a big issue at all.

Home away from home

They just do not make homes like this anymore. Plenty of space, beautiful molding and built-ins, custom cabinets and a wonderful sunroom with a doggie nook. The first thing Sidney does when we get to this house is go straight to get little cubby. Karen is amazing and we feel like home when we are there. She even decorated the home for Christmas just for us. She continues to do upgrades every time we visit. Honestly, it makes visiting our Virginia family so much better. I recommend this home and host!

We have stayed at this property multiple times (which says a lot). This home is clean, kept up very well, and is perfect for all of our needs. The host is super responsive and makes us feel at home.

This is the second time we have stayed here visiting family. Karen, the host, is amazing. This house feels like home. It is extremely pet friendly, and we enjoy having a place all our family can come together eat, enjoy conversation, and watch the game. Go Dawgs! We plan to stay here every time we visit Lexington. Highly recommend! It is perfect for entertaining and cooking meals. Until next time!
