The private garage apartment is perfect for your couples ski, bike, or hiking getaway. Located ON Mt. Crested Butte, just steps from the ski area and hiking/biking trails, this ski in/ski out apartment has a full kitchen and bath, two loft areas, and a queen size organic Murphy bed. It also has a private deck and private three person hot tub, a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, range, and full size fridge, and 300 degree views of the Elk Mountains and Mt. Crested Butte.

Nothing short of amazing. First off, Adam is an amazing host. Can say enough about how welcoming and kind he was during our stay. It's the little things that make a big difference, and he made sure to make that difference. At the same time, all the big things made a difference too! Everything was super clean, bed was great, kitchen was fantastic (coffee/espresso machine was a huge perk), private hot tub was perfect, and can't say enough about the views. Endless views. We come to CB at least 1-2 per year and have always loved the town, the vibe, the people, the activities, the mountains, and I could go on and on. Our stay here was everything we love about CB.

Great Garage to Park In

The property is stunning. It has amazing views of the Mt Crested Butte as well as the surrounding. Easy access to get to as well. The host was amazing with responsiveness and communications. Couldn’t ask for better. Even a tutorial call on how to get to slopes so there aren’t any mistakes. The space is small so plan to have efficiency. Not a lot of space to spread out but it worked fine with us and our ski gear. The Murphy bed is a mixed blessing. It’s very convenient but when it’s down you don’t have much room to maneuver. So plan to pull down at bedtime but up as soon as you get up. The kitchen is well appointed. Nice appliances and utensils. My only gripe is the no stick pan got mixed up and always stuck the eggs in the morning which made clean up a challenge. The bathroom is “European style” where everything is in one room. Sink, shower and toilet. The place is new and very clean. The hottub on the deck was fantastic for a soak at the end of the day and to look up at the stars from. Ski out means about 150 yard walk to get to the end of the culdesac and put skis on to go down to one of the main lifts. Ski in comes down a small groomed trail. I’d recommend that you be able to ski a moderately challenging blue to feel comfortable. There is a way to ski to the back side of the house but need to cross over on powder 50 yards so a bit much for some. We found if we just went down south around the aspen grove to where you ski out and just walk back that worked the best. Overall if small fits you won’t find a nicer little location!

People that have stayed there have described it to us as the most amazing stay of their lives. It's just in a magical place - endless mountains, amazing sunsets, and all of the mountain activities you can imagine literally just outside the front door.

Ski-in access off of Columbine ski run (accessed by Painter Boy ski lift); hiking trails above the property; mountain biking trails (including chair-supported downhill biking) is accessible just outside the door.
