Nice clean 1 story cabin/home. 3 bedrooms, one of which has a walk-in closet with additional small sofa/sleeper perfect for children. 2nd bedroom has queen bed, and 3rd has a full-bottom, twin-upper bunk. Huge water side deck for enjoying the lake views. Down by the water is a large flat open area for waterfront activities. Sandy frontage. Gradual depth is perfect for all ages to play in the water. Lake side firepit is perfect for evenings/nights! Sand Lake is a deep clean water lake with depths up to 100ft deep. Excellent fishing! Large enough for water sports, yet small enough to enjoy a nice relaxing getaway. There are many local bars/restaurants within minutes of the cabin. Brand New (2022) 20ft Bennington Pontoon (50HP motor) available to rent at additional $225 a day. paddle boards and kayaks available at no additional cost.

Nice cabin

Nice cabin and lake. Dock for fishing. Plenty of kayaks if needed. Just bring your own life jackets as we only found one on site. Dishwasher wasn’t working but that didn’t affect our stay

Beautiful farewell to summer!

We had a fantastic stay at this Sand Lake house! The 4 young boys had a great time catching countless fish off the dock and paddling around in the kayaks. The moms loved the paddle boards and the lakeside campfire. A great place for our crew of 8. We were also treated to some eagles diving for their lunch near the dock and plenty of loons.

Perfecr relaxing getaway

We loved thua property. Tins of water toys and direct access to the lake. Pontoon rental was excellent. Water is crystal clear and you can fiah right off the dock. House had main necessities, only missing a couple kitchen items, but it didnt hinder our stay. Definitely recommend!

Nice…. But

Loved the location and the beautiful lake and lake view. Nice decks, dock and great variety of water “toys.” Beds comfortable, bed and bath linens fresh and clean. However, swimming disappointing; no swim access, no ladder from dock. Also no AC. The owner was out of town and said he would be back in two days to repair. Never showed up, never responded to our requests for assistance/service. Lucky the weather was not too hot. Refrigerator not clean, bathroom wastebasket full on arrival. Poor lighting in living room area. No saucepan in the kitchen.

Sand Lake Haven stay was a joy

The girls enjoyed tubing, fishing from the dock swimming off the boat, s'mores and hobos on the campfire, and night star gazing.

Beautiful view

Love this property. We had a beautiful view and plenty of room. We went down onto lake and ice fished, we didnt have much luck but still enjoyed. We would love to come back and bring our boat in the summer. Property owner was very responsive to all my questions and concerns.

Great place on Sand Lake

Stayed for a long weekend with our three kids ages 12, 16, 17. We had the best time fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. We rented the pontoon which was fantastic. Wether your looking for relaxing or somewhere to go with your kids this place is great. The lake it quiet and beautiful. The place was very clean, checking in easy and owner responds to questions quickly. Every thing was perfect and definitely recommend.

Family get away

We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Lake. It is a nice quiet lakeband reallybliked the morning views of the lake. We would go back again.

Perfect waterfront location

Sand Lake is incredibly beautiful with clear water and gradual depth banks. Connecting or relaxing with daily kayaking, paddleboarding, campfires, yard games and board games is what this perfect minimalist sized home is made for. It's a must for those who need to escape a busy schedule. We highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful Location

The home is nice with amazing lake views. Back deck is a huge plus. Rented the boat also, and extremely happy we did. Lake is quiet and you feel like it’s all yours most of the time. Communication with owner was swift and satisfactory. Self check in & check out went smoothly. We are grateful for our stay, and would definitely rent again!
