Mara was exemplary. She made everything simple and clear. She responds promptly to any communication. The location was very convenient, with many parks to walk around in.The house is very clean, cozy and homey. I had a fantastic stay with my adult children here.

Stay was nice. Would recommend better lighting in the sitting area as it was hard to read with existing lighting arrangement. A slight glitch in the initial entry as reference to lockbox fooled us when it was not needed. Owner responded promptly and resolved things immediately. Thank you Mara. A good location to access the Botanic Gardens/Nat Hist museum and easy downtown.

This property was great for where our wedding was at botanical gardens. The actual home was very dirty, backyard patio was unusable due to weeds and some covers half on half off.Wouldn’t stay there and don’t recommend it for others.

The house was very clean & comfortable & had a very well furnished kitchen. The host very responsive. The neighborhood nice to both walk & drive in. The only difficulty is that the master bedroom is down a flight of steep stairs with a somewhat low ceiling & was not safely accessible for my husband - who is 80.

Family Stay

We met our nephew and his wife and 3 sons. The place was very kid friendly with a stroller and toys. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes. The location was central and nicely close to Congress Park. The playground was new and the pool was great for young children. Having a washer and dryer was nice also. The neighbors were nice and welcoming toward the children. Street parking can be difficult in some areas of Denver but there were always spots close by. We also enjoyed Nova Coffee close by and for knitters- The Lamb Shoppe.Thanks Mara

Perfect location

The house is in a charming neighborhood. Older home but clean. It met our needs. There is king size bedroom and attached bath in the basement but the stairs were too steep for us. I finally went down the last day to put our linens in the washer. The bedroom looked quite nice but I couldn’t go up and down the stairs.

Lovely stay in Denver

This delightful house had everything we needed and more. We could walk to restaurants, stores, and even a movie theater. It is in a very cute residential area with the wonderfully gorgeous(even in winter), Botanical Gardens a few blocks away. The beds were very comfortable.

Perfection!

First of all, we had to make the move to this VRBO quickly (we were here to support our daughter having twins a month early) and our host, Mara, more than accommodated us! Her flexibility made it simple for us to move in and get to the hospital. The place was immaculate and very comfortable. The fully-supplied kitchen would make a much longer stay work well. The location…for us, we couldn’t have asked for more. Actually, we hope to be able to have this place be a home-away-from home for as long as Mara offers her place to rent!

Comfortable stay in a great location

We had an amazing stay. Great location and we even found a coffee shop around the corner. Beds were comfortable and we had a great time. Host has thought of everything, even set up the pack n play for our arrival.

Awesome stay!!

My mates and I from Australia struggled to find a place in Denver until we came across this place and boy are we glad we did. Such a nice place in a really nice neighbourhood. Mara was always responsive and answered any questions we had. Would recommend this place for anyone!

Great walkable Congress Park duplex

The property was clean and fully-stocked with all kitchen, laundry, and bath amenities. The backyard has a nice patio for outdoor eating. The location is great for walking to coffee, liquor store, restaurants, bars, and Cheesman or City Park - but also tucked back in the neighborhood so nice and quiet. We would visit again.

Great Place

Went to Denver with a couple friends. Glad we chose this place. Super clean and spacious. From beginning to end communication was great. It’s in a nice area. Host has a binder with clear instructions and great recommendations. 10/10 in my book!

I am a single mom and a Teacher here is Denver. My daughter's are 5th generation Denver, Colorado natives. I love Denver and Colorado and everything my city and state have to offer. We love to take advantage of our 300+ sunny days by adventuring outside. Hiking, biking, skiing, camping, and swimming are some of our favorite things. We love to go to our plethora of museums on cloudy or snowy days. I am happy to give recommendations on many different tourist attractions. We are happy to share our home with you.

Close to all Denver attractions and a short drive to the mountains, Colorado Proud puts you in a prime location to enjoy Denver and Colorado easily. Our neighborhood has great walkability. Parks, museums, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Coffee shops and grocery stores are only 2 blocks away. Easy access to the highway to take you right to the mountains. Downtown Denver and the Capitol are less than 2 miles and accessible by walking, biking or public transportation if you do not have a car. Congress Park (Botanic Gardens), City Park (Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science), and Cheesman Park are all within walking distance. Our neighborhood is quiet, friendly and close to everything! The weather is beautiful year round. You can enjoy swinging on the front porch, a BBQ in the backyard or sitting my the fire pit on the back patio. Amenities for children available upon request.
