Mountain getaway

Spent a couple days here with my family mid-March and overall we had a nice time. It snowed a ton so we mostly stayed indoors. The house was a great size and it's in a good location, close to town. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans and silverware we needed. It was helpful since we cooked a lot. When we arrived the water was shut off to the house and after a long drive, we all had to use the bathroom. It was a little bothersome to have to message the owner and wait for a response, then figure out how to turn the water on. The floors in the kitchen and living room were dirty when we arrived so I had to sweep. The roof leaked both nights so we had to move some furniture and put some paper towels down. We had our family dog with us and we found the dog blanket and dog toy in the hall closet. Our dog loved both, so it was a nice touch. I would love to come back in the summer when the weather is nice, to be able to hang out in the yard and use the bbq grill. Overall, I would recommend this property for familes or groups.

Awesome family trip!

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was perfect for our family of five. The furnishings were beautiful and it was very well equipped and clean. The home is close to town but very quiet. We hope to return again as a family as the value was definitely there. Amy was very kind and provided everything we needed. We highly recommend The Tree House!

Wonderful place! We watched the snow fall through the picture window while enjoying a nice fire. The view into the trees from the high position of the house is just perfect, Thanks Amy for sharing your great place! 🌲

Quaint cabin in Idyllwild

Perfect for our getaway. Perfect location, very clean. Cute 3 bdrm cabin had all that we needed. Downtown is about a mile away. Great hiking nearby. Thanks for a great stay!

Christmas Worthy

We just spent our Christmas at this darling cabin. It was just the four of us, my husband and I, two grown sons and our small dog. It was the perfect size for the four of us. It’s really a lovely cabin. Driveway is a bit steep but doable. The rooster next door was consistent in his crowing but we found it charming. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Everything was great.The only negative was next door (right side) had a rooster that cockadododooo at 330am everyday.I stayed in bedroom to right my daughter and son in law heard nothing.They were in master.Thought about moving to second bedroom with the 2 beds. But liked the double bigger bed. No ear plugs of course.Otherwise loved this cabin grat location

Relaxing Weekend

This home was every bit as nice as the pictures on the listing. Very comfortable and cozy for our family of six adults. It rained in the evening, so we didn’t get to enjoy the firepit, but did relax on the deck for some morning coffee. Very picturesque setting and stocked with everything needed.

Last. minute getaway from heat

A week of 100+ degree temperatures was just too much, so we last minute booked with Amy at this beautiful cabin. She responded to my inquiry immediately. Check-in was a breeze and communications were easy. The cabin is bright and gorgeous with skylights and a comfortable balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. WiFi very strong. The other homes were closer than we like, but the balcony felt private. We hiked and ate very well. Per Amy’s Ferro restaurant suggestion, we had the best Italian food of our lives. Thank you Amy for the wonderful stay and the bottle of wine. We hope to be back.

Beautiful Cabin

This is nicely updated cabin with all the amenities you could ask for. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the views and mountain air. Clean and well decorated space. We would stay here again. Thank you Amy for sharing your space with us.

The cabin is so cute, everything was as advertised except the porch and backyard furnitures were not cleaned and ready to use. Also, the dustpan with the dirt in was on the living room couch which I found it odd, The host was very communicative and kind.

Modern cozy cabin

Cabin was a nice mix of modern and cozy cabin decor. Relaxing view from the deck. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit!

Perfect cabin for weekend getaway!

The cabin was clean, spacious enough for our family, and kitchen well-equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the fire pit in the evenings and seeing deer and blue jays in the mornings. Lots of privacy among the pine trees and a perfect location within a couple of minutes to town. Great water pressure, and plenty of cozy blankets, too. Amy was very hospitable- I highly recommend staying in this cabin for a mountain retreat!

Perfect stay on the Hill!

Amy's place is just as described. We were super comfortable and it was the perfect Basecamp to explore Idyllwild while my daughter visited the Arts Academy. Would love to stay here again.

Great stay

House was clean and the views were amazing! Amy was very sweet and communicated very well and even left us a bottle of wine for our stay. The beds were comfy and plenty of blankets, everything you could need to cook was there and it was dog friendly. We will be back. Thank you Amy!
