The property was clean and well furnished. IIt had a great view of the ocean across the golf course fairway. I was surprised by the Murphy bed, but it worked well in the living room space. Everything work well including the living room AC. However the bedroom AC could not keep the temperature below 80 degrees from about noon until 8 pm. Since our time in the unit was on the weekend fixing it was not possible. The owner was very good to work with. Hopefully the AC will be fixed for future tenants.

Thank you for the detailed review! It's great to know the space, the furnishings, and that ocean view across the fairway all made for a comfortable stay, and that the Murphy bed turned out to be a welcome surprise. Appreciate you taking the time to flag the bedroom cooling as well. We'll be sure to look into it and have everything in top condition for the next guest. We'd love to welcome you back with Gather whenever the next trip calls.

Well maintained

Clean, well maintained property with complete kitchen and quiet lanai next to golf course. Shared pool was never crowded and good opportunity to visit with local condominium owners. Only downside was golf course maintenance began between 5 AM and 6 AM every morning.

Charles, thank you for your feedback! It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed the property's cleanliness and the tranquility next to the golf course. The pool is a highlight, and so happy you were able to connect with some of our neighbors. The course requires mowing and trim work, and apologies that the schedule was so early each day; they do have to get it all done prior to the course opening. Thanks for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to host you again, offering another memorable experience.

Kona Vacation

We’ve enjoyed our stay. The only problem was the bath tub sliding doors were squeaky and hard to move them. It’s about time to replace them.

Great property

Great, clean property. Only odd item was the lack of provided goods. We stayed 4 nights, they provided exactly 4 coffee filters, 4 trash bags, 4 laundry pods, etc. It was a bit much. I would definitely stay again despite the oddity as the property was clean and cared for in a great location to get around. A big perk was easy parking too.

Property is nice, just no a/c, plenty of fans though

Overall our experience is good, we mostly were out during the day which is good cause it was hot in the rooms with no a/c, the fans did cool it down a bit, could be just the time of the year for the heat.

Nice central location

Overall impression was that this property was more geared towards couples instead of families. Everything was set up in pairs and the pool rules were not super family friendly. The apartment itself was nice enough, needs a new shower door in the master bathroom, and sprinklers turned on every morning at 6am outside our windows. It was fun to sit on the lanai in the shade and watch the golfers. Apartment had all the things we needed to make our own meals. Overall a good place to kick off visits around the island and see different things.

Wonderful Property

Absolutely wonderful. However, master bathroom toilet is in need of replacement. Very tiny, but the hall bathroom toilet is just fine. Also, 2 bedrooms is a bit of a stretch. The second bedroom needs to have a partitioned wall closed off from the living room. The property has a fantastic view of the 9th tee box on Kona Country Club. Definitely head to breakfast there if you can. Check in and check out was see less. Minimal request for pre departure clean up. Very easy. Totally would stay again.

Comfortable and quiet near Kona

We liked the location of the property because it was out of the noisy/busy streets of Kona Coast. However, you are not in walking distance to anything. But there were many beaches and amenities just a short drive away. Kona was about 15 minutes away. The floor plan worked fine for the three of us and the Murphy bed was comfortable and the that sleeping area was private enough for a family. The master bed was also very comfortable. Two things needed minor repair and they took care of it immediately even though it was the weekend. The entrance was down one flight of stairs. We found the patio a very relaxing place to have breakfast. Being next to the golf course was not a problem. We would stay here again.

Thank you for your review, Kathleen. We're thrilled by your reflections on finding peace and comfort with us, away from the buzz yet near enough to Kona's delights and beach escapes. Delighted that the layout and that our swift action on those little fixes enhanced your stay. Your mornings on the patio, amidst tranquility, paint a serene start to your days. Eagerly awaiting your return, we're committed to ensuring your next visit is as satisfying, if not more. Warm thanks for choosing our haven for your getaway!

Quiet place

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant experience. The peaceful atmosphere was definitely a highlight. However, the lack of air conditioning in the unit was a downside, as we had to rely on manual fans that ran constantly. So read the all fine print prior to booking. While the property looked nice, it did seem a bit outdated compared to other units in the building. On the plus side, the nearby golf course provided a serene backdrop, with a partial view of the ocean. Having a car was necessary to explore the area. The proximity of the property to the beach, as well as dining and shopping options, made it convenient to access everything we wanted to see. Overall, the location was excellent for exploring the area, with attractions and amenities close by.
