Keauhou Punahele #B-107 is a beautiful ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with approximately 1200 interior sq feet. It sits right on Keauhou Country Club golf course. Enjoy an expansive lanai that reaches from living room to the master bedroom. It's equipped with patio furniture, a private gas grill and roll down sun shades to keep the unit cool.

You'll take 1 set of stairs down to the Ground Level from the parking area and when you enter into Unit#B-107, there's a spacious living room with a plenty of seating space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need!

The Master bedroom has it's own en-suite bathroom, King Sized Bed, walk in closet, nicely remodeled vanity sink and a large walk in remodeled shower!

The Guest bedroom hosts a Queen Sized Bed. It does have its own Guest bathroom with a walk in shower as well! The property is equipped with it's own full size washer & dryer!

You truly feel like you're in your own world in this very private and & very quiet Keauhou Punahele garden level condo. Keauhou Punahele has a tropical styled pool, spa and pavilion area! Keauhou Punahele is positioned along the Kona Country Club golf course, close to Keauhou Bay for swimming, paddling and boating. The layout was great, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms modern, and the kitchen perfectly equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean. From enjoying breakfast on the terrace to relaxing on the cozy sofa, we truly felt at home. The temperature was perfect thanks to the curtains and ceiling fans, and having a washer and dryer was super convenient. There were plenty of towels, bed linens, and beach gear available.One small issue came up when the dishwasher broke down, but someone was sent over immediately and fixed it on the spot – it was handled quickly and without any hassle. Communication with the hosts was smooth and highly professional. We didn’t miss a thing and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Many thanks for everything – we’d love to come back!Just one little note of caution: watch out for stray golf balls – one flew right at us while we were relaxing on the terrace!

Solid home base for exploring the big island

The property was very clean, and had everything we needed to stay comfortably on the island. The kitchen had the basics, but you will need to buy everything you need (olive oil, condiments etc). There were plenty of fans to keep air moving and a sun shade on the lanai, when used appropriately the home stayed cool enough without AC. The property manager was fantastic, they were so communicative during our stay and made sure all of our needs were met. Overall 5 stars, but probably better for families with older kids. Would not bring a small child (everything is glass, iykyk).

Clean and peaceful

Away from the bustle of downtown Kona and very, very close to Keauhou Bay. We liked being not far from grocery store and easily able to go North or South for day adventures.

Despite the unit not having AC, they provided us with plenty of fans. The rooms were spacious and it also provided us with items for the beach. There was a BBQ grill outside the lanai that we used to cook dinner a couple of time. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Well maintained by the staff. Keahou shopping center was close by with restaurants, grocery store and movie theater. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay and would definitely return again.

Last year we stayed in the same complex. Very quiet, nice pool, beautifully kept grounds.We stay for a month, so I’d like a swifter and pads that go along with it so I could clean the floors. We love going to Coffee Shack, Lava Java, for breakfast, Gypsy Gelato up the hill. Of course, whale watching and snorkeling are the best on this island.

Big Island first timers

The unit is in a well situated location, easy to get to and venture out to everything on the Big Island. The management company was very good at ensuring easy access to the condo and being available to us if we needed assistance with anything. The size of the unit was perfect for four adults and had all the amenities we required. The location of the unit within the complex was great, we had a pool and ocean view and really enjoyed the evening sunsets. We also appreciated that the quiet times were adhered to. The furniture within the unit needed some cleaning, which was being done after our check out. As well, it might be time to get new mattresses for the beds. they are getting a little tired and for some, too soft. All and all, we had an excellent experience in this condo and would not hesitate to go back again or recommend to others.

The condo is well situated to provide a quiet sanctuary nestled next to the Kona Country Club. But close enough to the Keahou Shopping Center and only minutes from Kailua. The unit is well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very spacious for the 3 of us. Can't say enough for the cleaning crew, they provided us with a spotless condo upon arrival. Our only complaint would be that we had to leave. But we will be back!

Big Island Punahele

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vacation rental was 1970s construction with poorly updated craftsmanship used over the years. We had previously stayed there 20+ years ago and it was in better repair then. Overall it was adequately appointed with mismatched silverware/dining ware and well used pots and pans, but still serviceable. The most unsettling problems was the cockroaches, lots of cockroaches. I am sure in Hawaii it is a difficult problem being a hot wet environment. The beds were well worn and lumpy, lanai showed it age as well. In the inflated post COVID pricing this seemed overpriced for the condition. In the end we had a good time, who can't on the big island. Hopefully pricing will reduce back to a more reasonable price for non water front vacation rentals and the owners will find better contractors to accomplish future upgrades.

Great vacation/ wonderful view/ great condo

Easy all around. We never saw the property manager just filled out paper and put it in slot. Our son lives here so stayed over a couple of times. We enjoyed the people here and the pool. Found a way out to our car without using stairs.

Kona Vacation

Our stay was great. Clear directions on how to find the unit and enter. Looks just as the photos show. It was a great property to stay at and be comfortable for a small family or friends while enjoying Kona!

Great location and plenty of space

Great location. Quiet. And plenty of space, two rooms with separate bathrooms. The only thing was the pool was closed and then stairs too but it didn’t damper our stay. We’d stay here again and highly recommend it

Old Unit - Good Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for 10 days in April 2022. This unit is a lower level unit and does not have AC. The owner has supplied 2 minimal floor fans. The bedrooms and living area have ceiling fans. Despite the mild temperatures, the fans did not keep the unit ventilated or cool the air at all. If you want to sleep with the sliders open, you take the chance of an unwelcome visitor. The heat inside the unit was very uncomfortable, even with all fans running. In addition, there was an infestation of **** roaches. While I am very familiar with the tropical location and that insects are a "normal" part of life here (we have family who lives on the island) - I have never seen this type of cockroach infestation in any VRBO that I have ever stayed on in Hawaii anywhere. The unit itself is dated and needs to have the beds refreshed. I think they found the king size bed on the side of the road somewhere and brought it into this unit. It was very old and very used. The complex is nice, but this unit needs a lot of work to justify us staying here again.
