This was in a really good location for doing what I was there for. Street was very quiet. Parking was not an issue even when family came over. Lots of eating places nearby.

Though small, the house had everything we needed. It was clean, adequately stocked, and in a convenient location. Great for families!

Westport experience

The house was very well kept and clean. The steps were a little steep and parking was a gamble, but we always available. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this location

Great for a sma family getaway

Long weekend with my husband and kids to aexplore KC. Location was excellent, easy to get everywhere we wanted to go (downtown, country club plaza, the zoo). All the basic amenities we needed, enough space to spread out (kids need a break from each other!). Very clean. Would definatepy recommend to any small family looking to get away for a few days!

This home is in a great location and parking was readily available. The house is small, but fit two adult couples easily. As others have noted, the steps to the house are indeed steep. I wasn't thrilled with an 8 a.m. mowing session right outside our window on Saturday, but the host's quick and professional response to a minor issue at the property made this a top-rated stay for me. If you're looking for a centrally-located place to explore KC, consider this property.

Comfortable home in great location

We really enjoyed this home. The beds were very comfortable and there were nice tvs in all of the rooms. The home was equipped with everything we needed. The location was great. It is walking distance to plenty of restaurants. We enjoyed The Bar and Rudy’s. Street parking was easy to find. We would be happy to stay here again.

It looks just like the pictures. Most comfortable bed and furniture of any place I've stayed The kitchen has pots, baking pans, utensils- including SHARP knives needed to prepare meals. You do need to bring any seasoning except salt and pepper. The washer and dryer are super convenient and quiet. There is even an iron and ironing board. The only downside to the inside of the house is the bathroom is EXTEMELY narrow -12 inches from the small low toilet to the tub and 16 inches between the corner of the wall and the sink.Getting to the house requires finding on street parking -and going up 13 concrete steps, there is a railing.

Great location, Older structure

We enjoyed our stay at this property! The location was great! We walked to the Nelson and the Plaza. Westport shopping and downtown activities were close by. This is an older home though. The bathroom is very tight. The mattresses were nice but the metal bedframes are creaky. Some of the furniture and kitchen items were worn. It was a good value for the location though and street parking was definitely not an issue. It was a good value for the location.

Cute little house

The house was exactly as shown. In a really nice neighborhood the only negative I could say is that the bed is very squeaky so if you are a light sleeper partner are light sleepers if one wakes up the other will most likely as well

Family stay in KC

This property was a great setup for our family of 4 (kids ages 7 and 3). The kids bedroom was perfect for them. The space and amenities were great however there was a terrible smell (like a cat/cat litter smell) that was so overwhelming we had to buy some air freshener. To the owner: it would be great to ensure there are facial tissues in the rental and consider adding window treatments to the bedrooms to block the Sun.

I am usually someone who has a great experience with VRBO. This listing said that it slept 6 people. When we got there, there were only beds for 5 people. Some of the towels looked like there was mud on them and then weren't enough towels for 6 people. The parking instructions were not clear. Overall not impressed by our stay. Not worth the money.

Hole in one (closet)

This is a cozy two bedroom home. There was a slight odor, as mentioned in another review. Post-COVID, I carry lysol, so I sprayed the place down, which helped with the smell. When my wife opened the closet in the kids room, there was a piece of plywood in the floor. When she moved the plywood, a large hole was cut out of the floor that went revealed the crawl space under the house. The hole was big enough for someone to crawl up into the home. The plywood covering the hole was not screwed down. They just set a vacuum on top of it. This was a major security concern. The neighborhood itself seemed rough. Early in the morning our first night, three people walked onto the deck of the house. My wife was terrified, and too paralyzed with fear to wake me up to run these drunks off. If the owner could secure the hole in the floor, and do something about the smell, then this would be a very nice place to stay. Another thing, when I went to retrieve the key from the lockbox, it was not locked. When I put the key back in the lockbox at the end pf our stay, it would not lock.

Great Stay!

This property was great for myself and 4 other friends! We loved having the patio out back and the owner was quick to respond with any information we needed. If I end up needing a place in KC again, I wouldn’t hesititate to book again!
