This space was ideal for our extended family. We met here to attend a wedding and got to help my mom celebrate turning 90. It was a special places for great memories.

Fantastic weekend in Wimberley!

This was an incredible home for a large group - our group of 12 friends had plenty of space. Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable - home was beautifully appointed and an absolutely stunning location. Highly recommended!

A perfect escape in the hill country.

Incredible stay! Beautiful house on a gorgeous property and close to everything we wanted to do. Very accommodating home owners! Plenty of room for a big family reunion. Perfect for kids and adults if any age. We would definitely go back!!

Fabulous place to congregate

This is a fabulous retreat. We are a group of 8 couples from Baylor University who have been getting together for a long weekend get away every year for over 45 years. This house had a bedroom and in-suite bathroom for every couple - the kitchen was completely stocked and well equipped. We will definitely be back.

Great House

There was a group of 10 of us who stayed at this house for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. We all got to experience the wildlife and took advantage of the hot tub. It was too cold to swim and the ponds were not terribly full, so there wasn't any fishing although that was one of the main interests for several people in our group. Also, the house is not located on the river like it appears to be. The trip down to the water is pretty treacherous.

Fantastic house and location

We had a family group staying for the holiday week. Everything was perfect. Plenary of room without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen was will stocked with everything we needed to cook and we cooked all our meals. The pool is great and most of us were in it every day. Close enough to Wimberley, brewery’s and grocery stores that a trip out was easy. Great communication with owner. The goats were a plus! All in all an excellent location and house.

Great country escape

The house is amazing and located out in the country from the cute town of Wimberley TX . The house is well furnished, updated, and our experience was wonderful. We spent time walking through the fields and enjoying all the wildlife and goats!! The hosts are great and will meet your every needs….just ask. The beds are comfortable, kitchen was amazing and lots of gathering space. We enjoyed the big deck around the pool. It’s great for anyone who wants to enjoy family and friends away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I give it 5 stars for a country retreat and would go again.

Our group enjoyed the property, only issue was one refrigerator was not working and one of the ovens smoked when we turned it on it appeared to not have been thoroughly cleaned .

Will stay here again !

Awesome property !! Very clean . We had 20 people( all family ) and were very comfortable . Loved the game room with the shuffle board , pool table and card table . Great set up with loads of space . The best part of the house were the en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom . We were at the house over Xmas in the middle of the freeze . The host were always there checking on us . The property is very private and beautiful We really enjoyed our ranch dog visitor . We will stay there again !

Perfect for our Family

This is a really nice place! The furnishings are all top of the line. The pool right out the back door was perfect for the hot summer days. The 2nd floor living and game was awesome. We had plenty of room for cooking every meal for 20 people, ages 8 months to 83. The double refrigerators in the kitchen gave us plenty of room as well. The management staff was very responsive and even mailed forgotten items to us! The pretty riverfront on the property is only accessible with a four wheel drive.

River House

Beautiful home with a view that is spectacular. We had three generations come for a long weekend. Each one of us enjoyed a different aspect of the Bendigo. But everyone really had a blast fishing down at the river. Evenings on the portico playing games. Watching the wildlife in the early mornings. The kitchen is amazing to cook in. CLEAN! We had a couple questions and each one was quickly answered. Our family voted to return next year!

The most amazing vacation home

Our extended family of 19 spent 3 nights at Bendigo Ranch to celebrate Christmas together. They had the home decorated for the holidays, including a beautiful Christmas tree. There were 3 huge ovens and 3 refrigerators in the most fully-equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen. Our meals were comfortably enjoyed by everyone either at the huge, custom table or the two bars. Each of the 8 bedrooms had their own gorgeous bathroom. We had a roaring fire the entire time in one of the 4 fireplaces. Outside, we explored the hill country beauty and hiked down to the river, made friends with the ranch dog, and watched all of the goats. The weather was too cool for the beautiful pool, but the hot tub was perfect. We are definitely booking this home again! Thank you!

Perfect! Better than expected

From beginning to end, this house was perfect. The reservation process was easy and all of my questions were always answered in a timely manner. The pictures really don't do this house justice...it's beautiful! There is extra patio furniture on the front porch that isn't shown in the photos...seating approx. 12 people comfortably. We rented the house for my daughter's May 12th college graduation...family and friends stayed with us. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a laundry room upstairs and downstairs. All of the bedrooms had very nice bed linens and the mattresses were comfortable. The weather was sunny and warm, so a lot of time was spent around and in the pool. I highly recommend this home for large gatherings - you will not be disappointed! We had a wonderful stay :)

Fantastic Property with Beautiful Views

Bendigo Ranch was everything that was advertised and perfect for our family's weekend get away! The host is very responsive and accommodating. There is something for everyone - lots of TV's, pool table, shuffleboard table, card table, pickle ball court & equipment, and plenty of hiking areas. The neighboring goats and donkeys were a big hit with the little ones! The property was just as it appeared in the listing. The view from the pool/deck was absolutely beautiful. It's close enough to town that we could have made a run to the store if we needed to, but far enough away from the tourist crowds that we could just enjoy the peace and quiet of the ranch. And the kitchen...WOW...3 ovens, microwave, 2 large refrigerators, and more than enough dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. I don't think I've ever rented a place that was so well-appointed. The host really has thought of everything that a large group would need. We're hoping to book again for next year! Thanks for a fantastic weekend.

Great spot for a large group but wasn't worth what we paid

Really enjoyed the layout and group-friendly space. All the en suite bed/baths made for a comfortable stay for all ages. Also, thankful for the open concept and front and back outdoor spaces. We had issues with the hottub and the main back deck though. Multiple kids and adults got splinters just from walking around. Also, one dining room chair had a piece fall off and part of the railing on the outdoor area also popped off. The land was beautiful, but didn't feel very accessible unless you had a 4x4 vehicle. Lastly, the second fridge in the main space wasn't working, so required lots of moving food between the main room and the laundry space. Overall a lovely place, but for the cost (>$6K) for three nights it didn't feel like it lived up to the group's expectations of a top tier property.

Family Gathering

The Bendigo Ranch house and property are great. We had a family gathering and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool and hot tub were great and the short hike to the river was fun as well. The house is furnished beautifully and the views were nice as well. The upstairs game room was also a big hit. Great place!
