This is definitely a home away from home. This is my second stay and I enjoyed my stay just as much as my first visit. Jodiann is amazing and she is readily available when ever you need her.

Host was very helpful and responsive to inquiries. Quiet location. Once access was obtained entry went well. Gym opened at 0500 and access went well. The pool and nearby beach was a favorite for our littlest. A good addition would be pamphlets for things to do in the area. Thanks much for an enjoyable stay!

It is a very clean property, quiet for relaxation, family friendly, have all amenities including even a laundry machine and a barbecue, near to the beach and most importantly, the host is amazing. We will love to go back again and again.

Family Getaway

This home is very clean and cozy, it is fully equipped with everything needed for a getaway. The beds are comfortable and the hot water is great. Communication with host is easy and she replies to all questions promptly. I would definitely stay there again

We loved the manager Jodiann, she was very helpful. Security was friendly, polite and helpful also. The road to the beach was walkable across the street from the community and had a stoplight and pedestrian walkway. The pool was very nice and the workout room also. I would definitely recommend this place.

The best home away from home!

Jodianne is an excellent host. Prior to our arrival she was prompt to answer any inquiries. And during our stay she was quick to assist in any way she could. Thank you so much Jodianne for everything. We look forward to booking again with you in the near future.

It Is a beautiful home away from home

We are so happy that we stayed in this property, with our 3 kids. The house is very clean, organized and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the backyard in the mornings and kitchen and dining area during evenings. There are all amenities that you need during your stay. Also bathrooms are very nice and clean. We were also impressed with the Jodiann and her welcoming manners. She was always there for us, with her fast responses and follow ups if we are ok. Overall, we recommend this property, you will fully enjoy your stay in Jamaica!

The host was absolutely amazing! Responded to All questions within minutes every time and also checked in with me to make sure everything was ok! The property was very clean and quiet in a secure gated community. Pool was nice. We slept 5 very comfortably without any issue. The beach was not the best for kids however very choppy and rocky . We had a rental car and the host gave a list of beaches for us to check out and they were amazing! The only thing I’d recommend is maybe having a rental car and being able to travel to different activities. Overall a great experience and I don’t think you will find a better place accommodation wise!! 5 star for sure!!

What a great gem in Jamaica

We had a great stay. Everything was in perfect working order and clean. We felt safe and enjoyed the pool and the beach every day. We enjoyed snorkeling at the beach just across the street. There’s a fruit stand right outside the gates as well where u can get fruit at a good price. We traveled with two teenagers and an 11 yr old. Jodiann put an air mattress in the 2nd bedroom for my youngest son. She made sure our stay was pleasant and kept great communication with us. I would recommend having your own car if you stay here because it’s about 45 min from MB airport and an hour from Negril and there’s not a lot within walking distance. Although I did see taxis coming in and out so that’s likely an option as well. You can’t go wrong if you choose to stay here. All the people we met while staying here were so friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely wonderful experience

Jodiann is a super host and has a wonderful property. We loved staying at the place for our 10 days trip to Jamaica. The property is part of the community that is 1) comfortably located right on Highway A1 (great connectivity) 2) is right on the ocean 3) Is a very safe neighborhood gated community, with nice new looking clubhouse(ping pong , gym etc) with very friendly guards at the entry gates. Lucea is right in the middle of Negril and Montego Bay . We had plans to visit both places during our stay in Jamaica so Jodianne"s place worked very nicely for us. The property itself almost feels like a brand new home inside. Each room has AC fans full furnished and tastefully done. The house has a beautiful backyard and a cozy front porch to enjoy some quiet time with your tea or coffee in the morning and evening. Rooms inside are spacious and the open floor plan is great. It show that how the host has provided all the amenities inside the home e.g. items in kitchen, bed linen, bathrooms.. everything she has provided for every little comfort for your stay. Jodiann herself is a very kind host. Since we were new to Jamaica we had so many questions on how and where to take transport etc. suggestions on where to go and where not to go. Jodiann so kindly and patiently helped us with it all. Hey she even offered to pick up some grocery for us on her way over. She is the kindest person. Would very highly recommend staying with her if you have a chance.

Quiet and Relaxing Getaway

From start to finish, our stay was great. Jodiann was a fantastic host who is great at communication and accommodating to make your stay as carefree as possible. We would definitely stay at this property again. The Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and we always felt safe. The pool in the community was just a short walk down the street and the beach at Bulls Bay was just a short drive past Lucea and has Crystal clear waters and very picturesque. We enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts and spent a good time at the pool and playing table tennis in the clubhouse.

Oceanpointe Villa

Jodiann’s place is one of the very best accommodations we have had the pleasure of staying at in Jamaica. The house is very clean and organized and nicely furnished. There is AC in all the rooms, but we were pleasantly surprised that opening windows provided a nice cool breeze most of the time. The Wi-Fi works great and there’s plenty of channels to watch on the large screen TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials you will need to cook a gourmet meal (not food but she does provide basics like oil, salt & pepper, tea & coffee, etc.!!) The bedrooms have plenty of space to unpack and the beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of towels and extra sheets and pillows as well. There is a washer/dryer and also space outside with a clothesline to hang clothes. Very handy for swimsuits and towels after the pool and/or beach. She also has a large, beautiful patio with seating in the fenced in back yard. The entire community is really lovely and well-kept and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the pool and club house. Another pool is currently being constructed and will be for adults only which will be quite nice too. We always felt safe and well taken care of during our 12 day stay in the Oceanpointe community and would definitely stay here again. Jodiann is a such an attentive and accommodating host and promptly answers and attends to any questions and/or needs you may have. The check-in process was super easy and quick as well. Highly recommended!

Our Oceanpointe Experience

This was by far our best family vacation to Jamaica! We visited Jamaica now over 5 times and have always opted for an All inclusive Resort. This time we chose to rent a villa and chose this amazing 2 bedroom villa at Oceanpointe Lucea. Our host Jodianne was absolutely fantastic! Before our trip she was so helpful with any questions i had and always gave a speedy and detailed helpful response. Jodianne went the extra mile in making sure my familys needs were met and also added an additional single airbed for my 4 year old which fitted perfectly in the twin room which was very spacy even with the airbed! The villa is even nicer than the pictures very clean and smelled fresh. There is a big back yard too with place to air dry washing or you can opt for the great dryer she has. All beds were comfy and all stocks and supplies were great ! The kitchen was well stocked even a dutchy pot! The resort itself was very nice and very peacful and very clean and well kept. The pool was a dream as it was always so quiet when we went felt like our own pool. We stayed for 3 weeks feb 17th - 10th March the weather was perfect sunchine every morning we only had rain one day in our stay and there is a lovely breeze every day with it being so close to the ocean. Jodianne recommeded the closest beaches and also the Palladium resort which you can get a day pass for which we experienced on a few days great value !! 80 usd adults and only 25 usd for children its across the rd from Oceanpointe great spa area too !. We hired a car for our duration highly recommeded and we are from the UK and found the roads to be easy and generally safe once you get used to the cars taking over myself and my husband both drove and were absolutly fine! Its around 30-40 minutes to Montego Bay and the same to Negril beautiful drives along the coast to both areas. There is a local supermaket in hopewell for stocks around 16 minute drive they also sell meat frozen you just need to ask as its in the back area was good value. There is a very nice take out or dine in called Waterfront only 5 minute drive from the villa serves great amazing jamaican dishes and the curry goat was very good around 1200 jamaican for take out you pay more to dine in has wonderful views of the lake. We will definetly book with Jodianne again on our next trip to Jamaica which will be a longer trip as we love it so much !!
