La casa recientemente remodelada en 10 acres se asienta sobre una colina alta cerca de Black Forest, a poca distancia en automóvil de "The Springs", la Academia de la Fuerza Aérea, Denver y Castle Rock.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to share and spend Christmas week 2025. The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived.The space was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together, with plenty of room for everyone. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay extra comfortable, and the property was exactly as described—actually even far exceeded our expectations by a long shot!. The mountain and front range views , wildlife and the host providing breakfast food for that first morning was over the top service and such a special touch! The host was responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This is the kind of place that makes memories, and we would happily stay here again in the future. Highly recommend to families or anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway! Thank you Robyn and VRBO! We have stayed in several VRBOs over the years but never one as wonderful, warm and with such a gracious and accommodating host! Beyond my expectations! As a new mom of a cadet at the Air Force Academy, I wanted a place I could enjoy every minute of my son. Nailed it! He was so happy and content. I was able to cook, and enjoy the outdoors. Robyn was an outstanding host and even checked in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Truly a memorable time and the home felt like “home”. I've posted dozens of reviews on multiple subjects and I always try to be accurate and not simply give glowing reviews because others have. I can honestly say that our stay at Robyn's guest house was incredible in every way. We stayed for 2 full weeks and had various family members and friends rotate in and out, with a maximum of 6 at any time There is no aspect of the entire experience that wasn't superlative.

This home exceeded our expectations in every possible way! The booking experience was so easy and the host, Robyne was wonderful to work with and her attention to detail is unparallelled. The home is immaculately clean, beautiful, organized, perfectly stocked, quiet, comfortable and spacious. The outdoor space is perfect, with both an outdoor kitchen with dining area and a gas fire pit for the cool Colorado Springs nights….and then there’s the VIEW! Waking up to Pikes Peak as the backdrop to our morning coffee every day was magical, and the sunsets did not disappoint! Beautiful Home with Stunning Views

We couldn’t have asked for a better home or hostess. The moment we walked in, we could see the amount of care and detail that was put into the home and into making our stay comfortable. Everything was beautifully updated and immaculate and the views were STUNNING! The cozy sunroom, comfortable all season room addition with huge windows on all sides, and large back patio with lots of lounging options - all with beautiful views - were our favorite spots to relax. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and special!

Amazing in every way! This was our fourth stay at The Guesthouse, and our son’s graduation from USAFA. It was the perfect location to savor ‘lasts’ and celebrate with family and friends. A Little Bit of Heaven on Earth

This was our third time staying at The Country Retreat and it truly gets better each visit. We spent every evening enjoying the newly built outdoor living area complete with built-in bbq, fire pit, sitting area, cornhole, and that gorgeous view! We road bikes, walked the country roads, watched football, played board games, and cooked meals. Close enough to town to run in for dinner or groceries while still being away from the busyness of the Springs. Robyn has created a beautiful home-away-from-home that is warm and cozy and equipped with everything you will need during your stay! Love everything about this home and our visits!

Gorgeous!

My family absolutely loved our stay. This is probably the best VRBO we have stayed at. It exceeded our expectations and the photos. It seemed everywhere we looked there were extra touches of comfort. I felt pampered. The kitchen truly had every tool we needed during our stay. The new outdoor patio was so special. I enjoyed my mornings having coffee under the cafe lights and enjoying the view of Pikes Peak. We walked the grounds every day to look for deer and bunnies. We didn't mind the drive to COS because this was so much nicer and more relaxing than staying in town. This place has it all for a family trip to the area!

Wow! Perfectly appointed, immaculately clean, over-the-top awesome deck/firepit/BBQ. Absolutely best view of Pikes Peak and all. Plus, the Blue Sage Bakery goodies - spot on! Spotted twin fawns, hawks, turkeys, rabbits, hummingbirds. To top it all off, Robyn is a nonstop giver who has thought of everything!! Perfect!

Absolutely beautiful property. Driving in we saw it on the butte and thought “wouldn’t that be neat if that was our place” AND THEN IT WAS! Beautifully furnished inside and out. Would stay here again—parents and kids alike were big fans and sad to leave.

Family wedding and extended stay

Im not sure where to begin..everything was so on point! The home was full of hospitality and so many details were put in our stay. We had fresh cinnamon rolls and farm fresh eggs,and snacks for our grandkids. This Home was also very kid friendly! Girls loved it! Omgoodness the view was spectacular! The back patio was a big Bonus! We had a chance to share the view with a family cookout. Kitchen, bedrooms,bathrooms well stocked and home very beautifully decorated. The host "Robyn" was very personable and accomidating.10 stars plus!! Definitely be back! Thank you again Robyn

Family vacation

This property is even better than the pictures portray. The owner has stocked it with EVERY kitchen or party utensil you may ever need, and even has tons of spices on hand for your cookout/dinner. Communication with the owner was easy. Definitely recommend and if we ever travel in the area again we will try to get this property. 10 out of 10.

USAFA Graduation Stay

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning view of Pike’s Peak. Whether enjoying my morning coffee on the patio or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The property itself is impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every room is thoughtfully designed, with comfortable furnishings and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of our host. From the beginning, she was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. When a small issue arose, she addressed it immediately and efficiently, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was uninterrupted. Overall, this property offers the perfect combination of a picturesque setting, beautiful accommodations, and outstanding service. It was perfect place for our family to stay for our Cadet’s graduation from USAFA. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Colorado Springs area.

Second Visit and Already Counting Down to the Third!

This was our second stay at the Guesthouse and it was as wonderful as we remembered. Robyn is communicative, thoughtful and the Guesthouse feels like a home away from home. It’s cozy, accommodating for all ages, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the views are incredible. This year Robyn surprised us with cinnamon rolls and fresh eggs from Blue Sage Bakery, so good! We rode bikes, explored the property and enjoyed family dinners. Our family loves this home and looks forward to our next visit! Highly recommend this beautiful home for your next visit to Colorado Springs!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our family stayed at this property for a vacation. We loved the location. It was close enough to all the things we wanted to do yet still out in the country in a quiet and peaceful setting. The mountain views from this property are incredible. The house is even better than what the pictures show. It is extremely clean and very well maintained. You will not find a better hostess than Robyn. She was so easy to work with. We highly recommend Robyn and this property to anyone. We would definitely stay here again.

Reservation, checking and arrival processes were a breeze. I have travelled for over 50+ years and this was the most well appointed property I’ve ever seen. Hostess Robyn was truly outstanding. We had zero issues and the few questions we had were answered quickly and efficiently. The house is remote yet conveniences are only 20-30 away. It sits on a five acre lot with an expansive view toward the Rockies. It fit our needs perfectly. A great location, an ideal property and an outstanding hostess. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Favorite Vrbo home ever

Beautiful home with classy farmhouse decor. I took pictures so I could recreate some of her decor at home. Very comfy and relaxing with beautiful view of Pikes Peak from the back deck. Hostess was best we’ve ever encountered. Kept us informed when storms caused internet outage. Most homes start off with starter supplies of toilet paper, dish soap etc. she had more than we needed of everything for our week stay. Made sure new bikes were ready for grandkids left homemade goodies and breakfast food furnished. You will not find a better host. We definitely want to go back!

Family vacation

Would highly recommend this property. Was clean. Loved the location. Close enough to the activities we wanted to do—Top Golf, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge—but also far enough out of town for peaceful mornings and evenings. We definitely felt welcome in this home and felt that if we would have needed anything from our hosts (we didn’t have any problems) that they would have been easy ti get a hold of and would have resolved any issues. We could definitely see ourselves staying there again.

Amazing Couples Trip

The property was listed on VRBO only a couple of years beginning in 2003. It was then used as a private guesthouse and later as Rob's office until his company outgrew it and relocated in 2017. In 2018, we completed a top-to-bottom remodel so that we could offer it to others as a vacation getaway and relaxing escape to the country.

Rob's three children and their families are also part owners, and we all share in our love for the home, its tranquility and breathtaking views.

As for me, I am a native Texan, moving to Colorado when Rob and I married. (While Texas will always be in my heart, I love Colorado's 300+ days of sunshine, the mountains/scenery and drier climate!)

I serve as the "property manager", as well as decorator, supply-stocker and back-up housekeeper. I thoroughly enjoyed furnishing the home with virtually everything you might need for your vacation. We sincerely want your stay to be unforgettable.
