Nested in a quiet neighborhood, The House Retreat is the ideal place to spend time with friends and family. Only 5 minutes away from the Air Force Academy & highway i25. Close to entertainment/activities, shopping centers, groceries, and restaurants. The cozy and vibrant backyard has a private hot-tub, BBQ Grill, fire-pit with seating area, outdoor dining area, kids playhouse, and outdoor games. The home features elegant rooms such as the formal parlor and the dining room as well as two gas fireplaces in the living rooms. Additionally, the home has a game room with poker table, play room with; darts, kids ping pong table, and more! Directly across the street is an easy walking trail with views of Pikes Peak, a pond, benches and picnic table that is perfect to catch the sunrise/sunset.

The question for this review is what stood out...everything! Everything was wonderful. Any question we had was promptly answered, the house was impeccable, the Christmas decor was so festive and beautiful and the backyard was amazing. The space was perfect for our family Christmas. This rental was perfect for our family and grandchildren. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and had plenty of room for our group of seven adults and three grandchildren. We especially enjoyed our time in the wonderful backyard with our grandchildren. We would definitely stay here again when in Colorado Springs.

Best VRBO Ever!

We rented this property for our son‘s graduation from USAFA. We had several family members with us and this place was so comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. It was close to walking trails and restaurants and USAFA. It was the most well stocked place. we’ve ever stayed at and our guest were very happy.

Family stay

This is an amazing home! It is beautiful and has all the amenities of home. The owners thought of everything and made us feel welcome right when we walked in. Would definitely stay there again if we have another large group come to Colorado.

Wonderful house: clean and property well equipped for family gatherings

Beautiful Home!

Thank you very much! The home was beautiful, clean, and very accommodating. We followed the checkout instructions as listed in the book. One item of note, we noticed the exercise trampoline in the backyard had a small rip around the edge (where it attaches to the frame) that I believe my 5 year old nephew made worse. Please let me know if you need anything from us! Thank you again!

Beautiful Family Home

This home was perfect for our annual family get-together. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio, hanging out in the large, open kitchen and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. Our hosts thought of everything for our three lively kids - the play areas, indoors and outdoors! We were comfortable and happy to be there. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Fabulous Springs House!

This house is absolutely amazing! Fully stocked with everything you will ever need for an amazing stay! The backyard is paradise! The host is also amazing!!! We had personalized gifts on the kitchen countertop with a welcome sign when my friends and I arrived! Love this house!

Amazing Stay

The pictures don’t even do it justice. They had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas with a tree included. We had 10 family members ranging from 2-72 and there was enough space and accommodations for everyone. The host responded so quickly the entire time. I want to come back already!

Great location, great property!

This was a great house for our family gathering! The house had everything we needed for the week. Our large family had PLENTY of room and were able to have a wonderful time. It was located close to the interstate which made it VERY easy to get to all the activities we were doing every day! Would definitely rent again!

Great house & Great location!

We used this house as home base for a couple families with all adult children including USAFA cadets. There was lots of room to spread out so everyone had their own space. A great back yard for relaxing, cooking smores over the fire pit and hot tubbing. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking meals was easy. Lots of entertainment including a ping pong table in the back yard & electronic and non-electronic games in the basement. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area with a large group!

Absolutely Perfect.!!

The property owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay amazing.! This is the first VRBO I have been to that the homeowners have gone out of their way to make sure the children enjoy their vacation too. From toys, high chair, pack and play, all the way down to children's soap/shampoo. Everything to make parents vacations enjoyable and stress free. Loved every second of our time in this home. Very clean. Had a tiny problem with the upstairs AC and within 10 minutes of texting the homeowners they were there to fix it. Treated us as though we were the homeowners and were very respectful of our things and our activities. Super friendly couple. Job well done on creating an absolutely perfect vacation home.!
