Family escapes, ladies weeks, guys getaway, or couples relaxing, this house has it all. Casa Familia is an easy 3 minute walk to the heart of Roatan’s beautiful West Bay Beach. You are in the heart of everything yet with your own quiet paradise. Restaurants, Bars, dive shops and amenities in easy walking distance .Pool with sun-shelf & palapa provides a quiet guest oasis. Cable, high speed wifi included. Also in a 4 br option.Casa Famlia - Main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, 5 beds in total (3 queens and a set of bunks). A large open area living room/dining room area with vaulted ceilings. Large wrap around deck is fully screened and straight walk to the pool deck area. Large kitchen with island and full fridge and stove.Wifi mesh system (125 mps) installed 2023.Monitored alarm system Bedrooms are all well sized and quality linens provided. 

Casa Familia has recently renovated all bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen (December 2024)The deck is large (about 1000 sq ft). , fully screened wrap around deck with outdoor furniture, hammocks and grill. Perfect place to avoid flying pests at night. Beach chairs and beach towels provided. Some foldable at the house and some larger ones closer to the public access.





Guests of Casa Familia enjoy special discounts at Gula restaurant (beside Henry Morgan) great Italian food and wine selection (great quality at very reasonable prices). Arrange reservations through our property manager to enjoy the discounts. There is also discounts available for their daily beach club pass. Also nearby Casa Familia guests can enjoy complementary beach chairs at Beachers Restaurant (with drink or food purchase small charge on tues - Thursday- cruise ship times ). We have a golf cart on site, available for $10 per day or $50 per week. Cannot be used to travel on the main road just our local community. Enquire about availability at time of booking, pay at the property. please note that the cart is not a part of the rental, if for some reason it is not working we do not have a replacement readily available. All guests using the cart are responsible for any potential damage while in possession. As of March 24, 2024 the pool will be exclusive to casa guests only. Casa Familia

The Villa @ Casa Familia - Very large, 1 BR/1BA guesthouse with exclusive pool.Guests of the casa have full access to the main house, beach , pool and palapa area. Guests can access the utility room for laundry machines, please make arrangements with the local property manager to get access.We will typically not be at the property we have a local property manager to greet and be available for guests.We are a very short (2-3 minute) walk to the heart of West Bay Beach (between Argentinian Grill and Henry Morgan Resort. We have direct access to West Bay Beach.Dive shop in the neighborhood. Nice quiet location but close to all the amenities.You can have the bustle of the beach or the quiet of the neighborhood, your choice.Parking on-site. Easy walk to West Bay Beach. The beach is literally at the end of our short street, no roads to cross.water taxi to West End available at several docks along West Bay. Many car rental places on the island that we can refer you to, We can also refer services for airport pickup (includes grocery stop).We ask and expect that if guests happen to be sharing the pool or beach area with other guests that they will be respectful of the others who are enjoying the space.Quiet time between 11:00 pm to 8:00 am

The host and housekeeper were great. The accomodations were great, clean and as described. Communications with the host were super. When we had a question, the host responded quickly with the answer. I highly recommend this place and we will certainly consider this house the next time we are in Roatan

It was amazing stay. From Host to Manager in country, I can’t say enough good things. They take care of all the things right away and their hospitality is 100%. The house is beautiful and just as described. I will definitely recommend for a family wanting to have some privacy but be close to the beach.

Great Island Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! The rental was in very good shape as it was newly remodeled and communication with everyone was top notch! We enjoyed time cooking, at the pool, and just hanging out. In addition it's a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

Wonderful family friendly stay

We had a wonderful stay in Roatan. House was beautiful as listed and location was perfect - close to the beach, safe, quiet area. Our family loved the pool and access to the golf cart. MS Annie provide great meals too!

Perfect location!

We all loved Casa Familia! We were met by the property mananager with friendly, full details about the property and immediate response to a couple questions during our stay. Location is great with a short walk to the beach or use of the golf cart. Also enjoyed the private patio and pool area.Appreciated the owners reaching out during our stay to make sure everything was as expected. Highly recommend!

Dive trip in Roatan

Casa familia was perfect for our group during our stay in Roatan. The quick access to the beach and nearby restaurants and shops couldn’t have been more convenient. The large balcony and pool area was great for relaxing and a fully stocked kitchen and linens were great! Tom was also extremely helpful leading up to our trip by providing many recommendations. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Family Dive Trip

Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) had a lovely stay at Casa Familia. While the focus of our trip was diving, the house and pool area were a wonderful respite from the busy West Bay area when the cruise ships were in port. The house itself, while not luxury, fit our needs perfectly. The walk to the beach and dive shop was easy and we were happy with the location. We would stay again.

Perfectly Amazing

From the time we booked, right up to our arrival, Tom and his wife were so accommodating. Right up to adding extra blow dryers for us 3 ladies. Some Island delights. 😋When the shower heads broke they had a plumber out there the same day to replace them. They helped set up transportation with Johan from the airport, a stop at the local grocery store first. And taking us to the airport when it was time to say goodbye. Thank you Mr and Mrs Deighton for a fabulous vacation.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house and plenty of space to be on your own or alone. Love the fact that we were so close to the beach. I would probably look into talking to the neighbors about fixing the stagnant water pipe canal system that is on the path to the beach. It smells and there are plenty of mosquitoes/ sand flies. Also, flights going back to the mainland tend to be in the afternoon, having a place to store the luggages while one waits by the beach would be a bonus to this property. Other than that, we were happy with this house, thank you! Luisa

Casa Familia was amazing!

Casa Familia was a beautiful house for my family and friends. We rented the main house and apartment below (there were 10 of us in all). The house had everything we needed to cook, do laundry, plenty of towels grilling tools, coolers, umbrellas by the pool, and all the small things we forgot seemed to be in the hall closet! We left a few items there for the next people also. The pool area was great for when my kiddos got tired of the ocean. We grilled outside and the kids loved to eat outside on the screened in patio. The couple minute walk to the beach was nice and had so many options right there for food/groceries/shopping/massage/hair braiding/snorkel tours/parasailing/fishing/drinks (pretty much you name it, it’s right there). The water was clear and felt amazing! We look forward to coming back again!!

Roatan Family Spring Break

Our family of six truly enjoyed our stay in Roatan and at Casa Familia. The house and lower level apartment were perfect to accommodate all of us. It is literally a 4-5 minute walk to the West Bay beaxh. While the hosts provide access to private chairs and beach area we opted to. Entire out an rent chairs at The Infinity Beach resort several days. We ventured to West End a few times, spent a day at Gumbalimba Park zip lining and enjoying animals, rented a pontoon for a sunset cruise, has an adult escape to Ibagari ajd more. West Bay offers many great restaurants and beach bars! Casa Familia’s pool and deck area were perfect for sunning and plunging to cool off. The house had plenty of towels (be sure though to bring shampoos and pick up condiments at the grocery store). We arranged most transportation with Johan who was great as well!

Great for Families

The property is safe. The golf cart is a great addition to the property when travelling with elders. Additionally, the Golf Cart is great if there have been recent rains on the island. The home outdoors are beautiful. The overall stay was great with some maintenance hiccups that we did not anticipate given the nice home and ample space. More attention to the house maintenance may be needed before and after guest depart/arrive. Communication about portable water availability will be helpful during communication with manager prior to arrival or at booking so no additional water is bought during the one grocery stop at pick-up from Ferry. Host communication was excellent and flexible. Overall, Casa Familia is a great home with plenty of space and located in a safe neighborhood despite it not being at the beach doorsteps.

Fantastic home with fantastic hosts

This place is a must stay if you’re visiting Roatan! It’s a beautiful house that would comfortably sleep 7 or 8. The beds were cozy, the layout of the house is great and the decks and pool were wonderful. It’s a quiet, safe spot very close to the beach. The hosts offer a golf cart if you want to drive it down towards the beach and very safe to park there. There are some nice restaurants very close by that we enjoyed very much. We had some minor issues with power outages that had nothing to do with the house or hosts. It was some transformers being worked on. When I reached out to the host and his property manager he got back with me very quickly and was able to clarify what the issue was and how long it should take to rectify.The snorkeling in the water at the beach was great but Tom hooked us up with Johan from Roatan Family Tours and he coordinated everything for us for the entire week. An all day island tour, a couple of day snorkeling tours that saw everything you could possibly ask for…including turtles, and a really fun night snorkeling excursions that was phenomenal. We saw octopus, lobster, squid, and eels. The whole week was amazing and Tom’s accessibility and courtesy are what helped make our Roatan experience so awesome. Our whole family thanks Tom and his his eternally for an amazing week in Roatan!

Great place for families!

Casa Familia was the perfect place for our multi-generational family vacation! From booking to departure Tom and Renee were extremely welcoming and helpful in answering all of our questions and providing us with a multitude of information to ensure our visit to the island (and Casa Familia) was comfortable and enjoyable. The property manager, Marian, was extremely responsive and assisted us with any additional needs. The home is beautiful and well equipped, and the pool and palapa area were an added bonus that we enjoyed nearly every day! The walk to the beach was about 3-5 minutes, and provided access to a beautiful beach area close to restaurants, dive centers, and shops. The West End was only a 5 min water taxi ride away and provided several small markets for groceries, fruit and vegetables, along with additional shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to the far end of the beach in 10-15 min (between Infinity Bay andThe Grand Roatan) where we enjoyed the most beautiful snorkeling right off the beach! Gumbalimba Park is also a10-15 minute walk in the other direction. Tom and Renee got us connected with Yohan from Roatan Family Tours who was an amazing tour guide for our entire time on the island! He began by picking us up from the airport and taking us to the grocery store before dropping us at Casa Familia to settle in. Yohan also provided transport to Anthony's Key for snorkeling with the dolphins, a half-day tour of the West Side (which included stops at Mayan Eden Animal Sanctuary, The Roatan Rum Factory, Mayak Chocolate Factory, the West End, and the Roatan sign for pics - not to mention the fresh coconuts he cut open for us!), arranged a fishing trip for us (we caught a tuna which was fileted so we could throw it on the grill at Casa Familia 😊), and provided transport back to the airport for our departure (and even helped us bring our luggage into the airport!). We highly recommend Casa Familia and Yohan when visiting beautiful Roatan! Thank you Tom and Renee!

We are A Canadian couple from the Toronto area. We always dreamed of owning a place in Roatan and took the leap in March 2021. We renamed the property Casa Familia because our dream included family vacations with our 5 children. We are both professionals, I am in business management and Renee is a television host. So we have busy lives and want a place to decompress, for us that place is Casa Familia. The home is set up perfectly for large or multiple families we hope you love it as much as we do.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Casa Familia is unique for the West Bay Beach area. It is a 3 br/3 bath home that is not only very close to the beach but also has a pool (built December 2021). There are not many detached homes in the west bay beach area that offer the superb beach access, a modern renovated interior and a pool.

As much as the house itself is comfortable it’s the outdoor areas that really make Casa Familia so great. As mentioned there’s the pool, the pool area includes a huge sun deck and palapa area with sectional, bar and sun loungers. The house also has a completely covered and screened wrap around deck. Perfect for enjoying you mornings and evenings outdoors with no unwanted pests.

Our home is part of the Emerald Beach subdivision so our guests have access to a beautiful, mid beach area. We have our own chairs and loungers there for you to enjoy a quiet area on Roatan’s most popular beach.

We are an easy walk to dozens of dining and entertainment options, a dive shop on our street and water taxis to the West End. We are close to all the action you like but located in a very quiet neighborhood.

Renting a car or hiring drivers are easy options on the island but it’s not a requirement at this location because of our proximity to so many amenities.

If you need even more space there is a one bedroom apartment on the ground level below the main house that is available (separate listing). Has separate entrance.

We love our place and we love sharing it, hope you consider Casa Familia.

We love West Bay Beach and wanted to be close to it. Beach Front on West Bay can be very busy (and expensive) and is typically condos or hotels so we looked for quieter options that were walkable to the beach. We couldn’t believe our luck finding Casa Familia.

The area we’re located is Emerald Beach, it is a very established subdivision in West Bay and not many homes come in the market here. The big draw for this subdivision is the beach access (mid beach right beside the Henry Morgan resort) . When you enter the beach area, all you’ll say to yourself is “Wow”.

It’s a location that people have to experience to understand. You have a world class Caribbean beach about 300 M from your home but you can also choose the peace and tranquility of your own tropical backyard.

The house itself was also a big plus for us because it has 3 large bedrooms and large common area. In fact the entire inside/outside finished area is about 4000 square ft. The home was completely renovated December 2024 including a new kitchen, Flores and bathrooms.

We think it’s the perfect location to discover Roatan and West Bay but still have the privacy you want when you want it.

Finally, West Bay beach offers so many great dining options, either on the beach or within short walking or water taxi distances. We love to cook but we rarely do when we’re here.
