You'll have a tough time leaving Canoe Cabin! This quaint log home is nestled on a one-acre park-like setting. It features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, vaulted ceilings, hand-hewn logs, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and 3 outdoor seating areas. You may want to live outdoors on our sprawling covered front porch, back patio with water feature, or screened-in porch. Take a hike in our wooded backyard or spend a day on the lake fishing or enjoying water sports! Come check it out for yourself!

This gorgeous log cabin features hand-hewn hemlock logs and was built more than 30 years ago. You will love the cool rustic vibe and ambiance of your home away from home! This property can comfortably accommodate 1-6 guests. You will feel right at home with a fully stocked kitchen that features all of the essentials and several dining spaces - indoors or outdoors!

Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee, and picturesque scenery from the sprawling front porch. Unwind on this 1-acre property by hiking, canoeing, fishing, listening to the waterfall, and enjoying the wildlife.

Stayed in December, the home was tastefully designed, cozy and comfortable. Well stocked, Karen the host was very responsive with our every request/question making sure we have everything. Porch swing was our favorite watching sunset, sipping coffee, waving at the beautiful group of deer.

Lovely!! This is a wonderful cabin with a fully appointed kitchen. The cabin is as darling as it appears in the pictures. We were in the area to attend a wedding and I appreciated that we had everything we needed. The host communicates well and I knew I could reach her if needed. I only wish we had stayed one more day to relax after all the wedding activities. We would certainly stay here again.

Comfortable Cabin

My family had a wonderful stay! The cabin has the most well equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen. Quiet neighborhood with deer walking across the back yard. We would definitely stay here again.

Canoe Cabin

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at Canoe Cabin. The cabin was well stocked with everything you could need when vacationing. The place also had nice personal touches, making it feel very 'homey.' The outdoor space was great to spend time with family in the evenings. Karen was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I recommend the cabin to anyone visiting the area.

One of our best rentals ever

Amazing property. House has everything you need for a great stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had plenty of storage and chargers for phones. THe kitchen was well stocked. Kids loved seeing the deer every day and playing on the swing in the front yard. You wont be disappointed!

This is one of the best places that we have have stayed in. SUPER clean, lots of room, and great place to come back to after playing in the lake. There was nothing that this place didn't have. We would stay here again.

LOVED IT!

Our family met at the Canoe Cabin and it did not disappoint! From the minute we found it online to the minute we walked out of the cabin, we loved it! The communication with Karen, the cabin itself, the deer in the backyard, the views and the family memories that were made were amazing!! If you are in the area, stay here!

Great Stay!

This house was perfect for our stay. Everything you could need to cook was there. The outside space was wonderful as well as the indoors. Well kept home, very friendly host I would stay here again and will recommend to anyone that wants to travel this area, I have rented VRBO’s for years and none compares to this home

Just what we needed

We were in town for a funeral and I needed a place to accommodate my 94 year old grandmother. This place has 2 bedrooms on the main level which is very difficult to find. The house is in great condition and the owners are extremely nice. I would definitely stay again.

The “Canoe Cabin” is an outstanding vacation rental property filled with charming character inside and out. The property managers left no stone unturned in providing a thoroughly welcoming guest experience including a fully stocked house, snacks, coffee bar and toiletries. Even the furniture, beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. The porches were delightful and the yard was beautiful. Thank you Karen for being a wonderful hostess. We will definitely be going again next year.

What a delightful quiet cabin.

We so enjoyed our time here. Absolutely nothing was overlooked to make this time special and comfortable and relaxing. We loved the porch on the front and the back. Enjoyed all the deer. The waterfall. The cozy decor. Comfortable beds. Coffee bar! Oatmeal bar! We ate most meals at home and the kitchen was so easy to cook in. I highly recommend this quiet relaxing cabin.

Beautiful

Flew in from out of state and after being up for over 24 hours this cabin was absolutely so lovely to call home for a week. Karen was so accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Very clean and cozy! I would love to stay there again and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.

Awesome place to relax and have family time

Loved this cabin! It was very comfortable for our family of 3 and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy ourselves.. I loved the swing on the front porch, enclosed back porch and the outdoor sitting area near the fountain. We saw deer every day in the backyard. The cabin came with everything you need - coffee - both K cup and filtered, creamers, snacks, shampoo/conditioner, soap, and even had a basket with OTC meds. The beds were comfortable. Karen was great and responded immediately to all communication. Location was close to the activities we chose - hiking, Virginia Creeper Trail, Bristol Caverns and shopping. Highly recommend this cabin.
