Amazing place

This house exceeded expectations! It was so clean, the porch is lovely, the street is charming, and the walk to the beach is under 3 minutes. I was a bit confused with the wild dunes area heading into it as I’ve only stayed in isle of palms but this was truly excellent and exceed expectations!

Loved it!

We all really love Wild Dunes and this house was perfect for us. We had enough bedrooms for everyone, location was convenient to everything…beach, pool, shopping area, golf course. We will definitely be looking to stay there next summer OR maybe we will be able to come again before school starts.

House and location couldn’t have been better. One of the nicest homes I’ve stayed in. Great access to beach, pool, and yet set back from it all on a quiet street. Definitely recommend!

Wedding weekend

We stayed at this property for a gathering of family for a Charleston wedding and it was PERFECT! Plenty of room for several couples but yet the decor made it feel so cozy. Several in our group called it the “glamorous treehouse.” Location was a short walk to the beach and also to the Grand Pavillion pool. Would definitely rent this property again!

Glorious stay

I hesitate to say all the things we loved about this property for fear of it never being available to rent. It is on a beautiful street close to the hotels which offer dining options and spa. Close to beach. Close to pools. The house is beautifully decorated. Fabulously appointed. Communication was exceptional.

Fantastic!

This was an absolutely lovely vacation week for our family! The house is in a perfect location-2 minutes from the beach, pool and beautiful hotel resorts with great bars, restaurants and spas. A quick drive gets you to the other end of the island for more lowcountry food & amenities. The beds are super-comfortable and there was room for all 9 of us. The kitchen is well-stocked as well. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location, perfect for families

The property is perfectly located in Wild Dunes with great access to amenities and the beach. The location is quiet and porches are peaceful. The house is perfect for 8 people including for two small families with two generous master bedrooms. The living area is spacious and comfortable. Some furnishing and fixtures are a little worn and need updating. Some minor repairs are necessary for the property. Overall, it is a beautiful location and a very relaxing space. We would stay here again.

Amazing home!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this rental home and it was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and the beautifully decorated space that instantly felt like a home away from home. The house features a spacious layout, perfect for our family. With four comfortable bedrooms and three full bathrooms, plus another half, we never felt cramped. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Check-in was seamless, and the owner was incredibly responsive to our inquiries, ensuring we had everything g we needed for a smooth stay. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the beach and pools.

Great stay in Wild Dunes!

This house suited my family of eight adults perfectly. We cooked a lot during our stay, and we were happy to find that the kitchen was well-stocked and the grill worked perfectly. The living and dining space accommodated us all well, and the porch served as a perfect extension of the living space. (Obsessed with the big porch swing!) Our communication with the property manager was excellent. We got into Wild Dunes and into the property with no issue at all, and the couple of times a question came up, it was addressed swiftly and kindly. I'd stay here or at another Deserving Vacations property any time.

Excellent Property All Around!

This property was even better than we expected. The pictures are great but they don't do this house justice. It is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and spacious. There were 8 in our group and we were all very comfortable. The walk to the beach is probably less than 100 yards and it's a safe walk across a cul de sac and down a paved path. The house is clean and very well stocked. We will absolutely stay here again and we recommend it highly. Also Alec is a great host and was terrific at communicating.

Seaside porch talk

The home was the perfect setting for our trip. We were attending our daughter’s graduation at the Citadel. Yes it might be a distance but you just have to give yourself enough time & be patient. Porches were perfect for talking and having some quiet time.Anything you can imagine that you might need is already at the house. Everything was perfect! Stay here you will not regret it.My only dislike is the 1400.00 in fees but I guess that is just part of the process.

The air conditioner in the home was not working properly. The management was responsive but it took a day to get a managable solution. Something is still not working properly so I would not want to rent the house until it was fixed. We have rented on this street 5 or 6 times prior to renting this house. This was more expensive, smaller, and not as nice. The furniture has seen better days.

Loved the house, perfect for my family except for top bedroom on 3rd floor did not really have air conditioning. This is our 4th year renting a home in the Grand Pavillon area. All of my the past homes included the pools at the Sweetgrass Hotel, so I just assumed this home did as well, and it did not. Some confusion as to getting the wristbands for the pool.

Ideal Piece of Heaven on IOP

What an perfect rental for a holiday weekend with family! This home is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. It was beautifully decorated and stocked with every supply you might need- bakeware, beach toys, coffee, toiletries... just everything! So much space to spread out and each room was perfect for kids and adults alike! The walk to the beach is so quick and the neighborhood is refreshingly quiet. The house felt very livable especially for kids as it was an established home with some beautifully done renovations. Alec was quick to respond to my questions even through it was a holiday weekend. He even sent a super helpful video on how to use the fireplace:) Wish I could give this home and the hosts more than 5 stars! Thank you!

Perfect family retreat

We had two families stay for the week; perfect amount of room for 10 people! Lovely short walk to the beach, maybe 5 minutes. Five minutes to the boardwalk which had food and ice cream and nice couple of shops. The house was beautifully appointed, many serving dishes and supplies. The beds were extremely comfortable, wonderful pillows! Beach chairs, coolers, and boogie boards were available for us to use. A multitude of games and puzzles for family fun too! The only thing I would definitely note, is that the management company only supplies a minimal amount of cleaning products. For 10 of us staying 5 days, 3 dishwashing pods was not enough - nor the 2 laundry pods, 3 garbage bags, 4 rolls of toilet paper, and no paper towels. Odd in such a beautiful family home there’s not enough provided for the amount of time.

Lovely Home

The house is perfectly located and fairly well appointed. We had a wonderful family vacation there over the thanksgiving week. The only issue we ran into was that the hot water takes a while to reach all of the bathrooms, and the beds were soft. Management was extremely attentive and accommodating. Will definitely rent again!
