Marr's Mountain Cabins - Cabin 3

This is a comfortable one-bedroom, one bath cabin. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a foldout futon in the livingroom. The cabin is fully furnished and has a flat screen TV with satellite. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, range, Keurig coffee maker and K-cups, toaster and a microwave. The bath is equipped with big soft towels, washcloths, soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. Cabin 3 has a gas fireplace to keep you warm during those snowy evenings.

Quiet and relaxing

We were up here to go to a wedding not far from Red Feather. The cabins were lovely, comfortable and nice and quiet. Had everything we needed!

Cabin 3 was simply adorable! The decor was welcoming and tasteful. The cabin was ery clean and accomodating in all areas. It was great having an easy to use TV along with WiFi. We would highly recommend Marr's Mountain Cabins for an easy and restful getaway. Additionally, the owners were friendly and helpful. Dowdy Lake was just around the bend and offers breathtaking views, camping, day use, and more.

Weekend getaway

This place was Awesome! So peaceful. All of the staff were so friendly and kind. The cabin was perfectly equipped with all the necessities. The bedding was fantastic. We loved our time here! Can’t wait for the next time.

Just my spouse, our dog, and myself. Very clean, nicely decorated cabin - a bit on the smallish size - but plenty of space for us. We were very comfortable, and stayed for 2 nights in August. The location is very quiet and beautiful. Note that most of the areas around the cabins are private property - so be aware when walking a dog, so as not to trespass. We did find fun public areas for dog walking by Dowdy Lake and Bellaire Lake. There is also the Red Feather Memorial Community park - just west of the Trading Post and Ace Hardware, on the other side of the road. If you're looking for a quiet getaway - this might be the place - and larger cabins are available for bigger groups. Cheers!

Pet Misunderstanding

Bear cabin is small but just right for one person and included all essentials. Having the tavern right there is definitely a plus. However, listing said pets are welcome but at check in, I was told that only applied to dogs and I travel with my cat. They let me stay but I felt uncomfortable interacting with them later.

Cozy

The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities of a hotel. We used the kitchen to cook our meals. If you don't want to cook the Tavern is close and has a fantastic menu. The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and is close to hiking. The hosts were amazing, very responsive and great to talk with.

Hi! Our names are Rich and Kerrie Marr and we are the new owners of Marr’s Mountain Cabins
and The Tavern previously known as Ramona Lake Cabins and Trout Tavern. We are starting a new chapter in our lives both in our married life together and this new exciting endeavor! We love people, we love the mountains and we love creating experiences for others so this is the place to be!
We hope you’ll come stay and enjoy all this area has to offer. Swing into The Tavern for a cold beer or signature cocktail, order up a custom pizza or baked mac and cheese, and come say “Hi” and give us the opportunity to get to know you!

We are a family owned business that provides cabin rentals and The Tavern. Even when living in Greeley, we always considered the mountains as our backyard playground. We love to ski and take our Jeep on trails and camp and enjoy the scenic color changes and go exploring...we got married in the mountains and now we live here! We love meeting new people and sharing our beautiful tavern and cabins and have already had mere acquaintances become dear friends!
